Chapter 4836: What Is Known And Unknown III
Chapter 4836: What Is Known And Unknown III
He had an unbelievable finding just from the action of devouring a Primordial Realm.
Something utterly surreal!
A creature that felt like it had the Immensity of an Absolute, and yet at the same time, it wasn’t. The classification didn’t fit. The parameters didn’t align. It existed in a space between definitions that Noah hadn’t even known was possible.
The Mnemonic Leviathan looked at him with ancient patience as it asked once more.
"What question do you have?"
The voice was filled with Immensity that pressed against reality itself.
Noah’s eyes flashed sharply as he replied.
"I am not yet ready to give my question."
His words came calm and imperious.
"I am interested in learning more about you before I give my question. I do not even know how to categorize you, and I have met many across Existence."
...!
This was actually a new finding that made him rather excited. Something outside the scope of what he knew about THE Creature and THE Living Paradox and all others.
What was it?
Where did it come from?
How did it fit into the grand weavings of Observable Existence?
As he was thinking about all of this, THE Mnemonic Leviathan initially looked at him in silence.
And then she eventually spoke.
"Primordial Realms. Shores. Folds. Wheels. Renowned Existences."
Her voice boomed across the void between realms.
"All that which you may have been exposed to in Observable Existence does not mean that is all there is in Observable Existence."
BOOM!
The words landed with weight that made nearby space tremble.
"THE Creature is not everything. Chaos or Paradox are not everything. THE First Tongue is not everything across Observable Existence."
Her ancient eyes held something that might have been amusement at his limited perspective.
"Observable Existence is vast, mighty, and filled with wonders. Some cannot even be perceived by entities less than Absolute. And some... even Absolutes are not privy to."
She paused, letting that truth settle.
"That is Existence. Many stray when they believe they know everything and have seen everything."
Her form pulsed with crimson-pink light.
"Now. What do you wish to know?"
...!
The words of THE Mnemonic Leviathan were ridiculously heavy as Noah listened.
This entity held more knowledge than many, but she didn’t seem to want to talk too much. She answered what was asked and nothing more. No elaboration. No tangents. No freely given wisdom that might help him understand the broader context.
And he loved to meet old things that loved to talk.
They freely gave the most information without even realizing it. A rambling ancient being could reveal secrets in casual asides that would take years to discover otherwise.
But this one was different.
She wanted her question and nothing more.
If she really wanted a question to keep talking...
Noah’s eyes flashed with tyranny as he nodded, as if he’d arrived at his answer.
"What do I need to do in order to stand above everyone in power in Observable Existence in the shortest amount of time?"
BOOM!
He didn’t ask about THE Entity.
Instead, he asked a question that would be pertinent to him for the foreseeable future.
A question whose answer could guide his path for eons to come.
And...
...!
THE Mnemonic Leviathan frowned.
She silently looked at him with those ancient eyes, her massive form going still in ways that suggested genuine surprise.
"..."
As if she was asking... dude, what the fuck kind of question was that?
The pages floating around her body slowed their eternal dance.
The crimson-pink light dimmed slightly.
After a while, the ancient voice replied.
"Ask another question."
...!
Noah frowned.
"Don’t you know almost everything?"
His voice held challenge now.
"You do not have an answer to this question?"
THE Mnemonic Leviathan looked at him with something that might have been exasperation filtered through eons of patience.
"I know almost everything."
Her voice was flat.
"And the question you asked cannot be feasibly answered."
She paused.
"Okay. Those are two questions answered. That concludes and even exceeds your granted question, O Claimer of THE First Tongue."
...!
"You..."
Noah’s eyes flashed sharply as the radiant light around this creature began to intensify. Her form started to shimmer, the pages swirling faster, the crimson-pink wings spreading wider as if she was about to descend back into whatever space between realms she called home!
She was leaving!
Yet she stopped moments later, her ancient eyes finding his once more.
"I do not like to be bothered."
The words held weight that portrayed eons spent in peaceful slumber, undisturbed by the petty conflicts of Absolutes and THE Four and all the other beings who thought their struggles mattered.
"So. Just ask another question."
...!
Noah’s eyes became stern.
If she didn’t want to answer his heavy question about ultimate power, he’d ask something more immediate.
"What is everything I need to know to overcome THE Entity that has already overtaken Jotunheim and THE Secretive Eon?"
BOOM!
Since this entity didn’t want to answer his first question, he asked another.
One that addressed the most pressing danger he currently faced.
And this time...
The eyes of THE Mnemonic Leviathan flashed.
The pages around her body moved faster, words of The First Tongue rearranging themselves as if searching through accumulated knowledge that spanned all of Observable Existence. Information older than THE Fallout. Truths that had been forgotten by every living being except this one creature who remembered everything.
She was contemplating his question.
And then she replied.
"The solution to your victory in the present is tied to events in the past."
Her voice was cryptic and measured.
"The way and answer you seek lies in the Weavings of what happened all those years ago with THE Primordial Paradox."
...!
"Understanding the origin shall grant understanding of how to end it. These are the coordinates in time where you can find your solution."
...!
This... this fucking fraud wasn’t giving him straight answers at all!
Events in the past? Understanding the origin? Coordinates in time?
She was basically telling him to figure it out himself while providing the vaguest possible guidance!
But a blinding crimson light did flow from her massive form, streaming toward his body like a river of concentrated information.
Actual coordinates in time. Not a place in space, but a when.
A specific moment in the past where the answers he sought could be found.
Information Received
Temporal coordinates have been embedded into your existence
These coordinates point to a specific moment during or before The Infinite Unfurling
Reaching these coordinates would require Temporal Traversal of significant magnitude
