Chapter 4853: Unprecedented Glory! I
Chapter 4853: Unprecedented Glory! I
His voice grew heavier.
"I was not merely speaking when I said that the Scales of Existence demand hardship. That is how they were designed."
His eyes remained closed, but his presence seemed to expand.
"If there is no adversity or hardship that your Way has faced, it will be nearly impossible for you to grasp the second level of Vakochev’s Scales of Existence."
The musings landed with weight that made the very fabric of The Interstices tremble.
"No matter what you do or what resources you claim. Even if you burn all of Observable Existence to the ground and corrupt it in any way you desire."
His voice held finality.
"If you do not have that adversity and hardship woven into your foundations, you will not be reaching THE Level Two Scale of Existence."
...!
Noah looked at THE Primordial Paradox with a unique gaze.
The words this entity had just spoken seemed oddly familiar to what THE Living Paradox had done. Or would do in the future that Noah had come from.
Even if you burned all of Observable Existence and corrupted it...
Without a sufficient foundation, you would not be able to grasp the next level of the Scales of Existence.
So...THE Fallout was the bid of THE Living Paradox to attain Level Two Scale of Existence layered with his attack on THE Creature?
The catastrophe that had reshaped Observable Existence, that had killed countless beings and destroyed realms beyond counting, that had torn apart the fabric of reality itself...
It was all for advancement?
Noah’s eyes were bright as he thought about this.
When it came to his own foundation and Immensity, when it came to the path he walked and the heights he sought to reach, when it came to this Vakochev and the Scales of Existence...
"Vakochev can demand whatever he wants to demand."
Noah’s voice carried across the deck of Naglfar with authority that refused to be diminished by ancient names or ancient requirements.
"But when the time comes, I will take the step I need to regardless."
BOOM!
An air of grand tyranny radiated around Noah as he said this.
The words were not arrogance. They were not bravado. They were simple statement of intent from someone who had never let the rules of Existence prevent him from achieving what he sought!
The closed eyes of the regal-looking Primordial Paradox remained closed.
But a faint smile appeared on his lips.
It was the acknowledgment of one who had walked a similar path and understood what such defiance truly meant.
Naglfar crossed The Interstices in silence after that.
The Primordial Gray pillars blurred past them. The darkness between pathways parted before the ship’s prow. The Corrupted Growths that lined the routes shriveled and died as Noah’s passive authority radiated outward, cleansing spaces that hadn’t been touched in eons as he grasped a few more Absolute Everythings!
And then, a moment later, space became defined all around them.
The ship broke free of The Interstices with a transition that felt like stepping from dream into waking. The undefined pathways fell away. The perpetual uncertainty gave way to something solid and real and present.
Noah sensed the overwhelming Immensity of The First Tongue.
The concentrated authority of linguistic foundations that had been accumulating since before THE Infinite Unfurling. The weight of a place where reality itself had been shaped by words spoken at the dawn of Existence.
He found himself in Ginnungagap.
They had arrived!
Ginnungagap!
Noah had a nostalgic expression as he looked around and saw the river passageways shining with obsidian light, filled with Phonemes of The First Tongue that drifted through the air like luminescent fish swimming through cosmic waters.
Dazzling lights of a time before full differentiation settled permeated all around. The crimson and gold rivers of Civilizational authority flowed calmly through the vast expanse, carrying weight that would have crushed lesser beings. Storms of linguistic power churned in the distance, the same storms that could have ripped him apart during his last temporal traversal here.
Now they felt like weather disturbances that would not do much to him.
The gap between what he had been and what he had become was staggering.
If he had to be cautious and move very slowly in his first traversal, navigating around dangers that could have ended his existence with a single misstep, he could do countless more things right now. He could walk through those storms. He could swim those rivers. He could touch the concentrated authority that permeated this place without fearing that it would dissolve his foundations.
He breathed in the air of Ginnungagap.
His existence continued to change as the weight of Impundulu settled deeper into his foundations. The ship he was on tore across the skies of this ancient realm, guided by THE Primordial Paradox who knew exactly where he was going.
The regal entity kept his eyes closed as he spoke.
"One last thing I shall tell you."
His voice carried the weight of someone imparting wisdom they had earned through eons of experience.
"Your foundation will be somewhat ready if you can collapse an Absolute from beginning to end. Without any tricks or assistance. Simply you against them, with victory achieved through your own weight and Immensity."
He paused.
"At that time, your foundation may be sufficient."
A faint smile touched his obsidian features.
"Until then, keep working hard, Youngest."
...!
With such words, their surroundings became blurs of existence.
The rivers of authority streaked past them. The storms of linguistic power became nothing but smears of light against the glorious backdrop. Naglfar moved with speed that transcended normal spatial relationships, carrying them toward a destination that Noah had specified to THE Primordial Paradox.
Moments later...
HUUM!
The ship came to a halt.
And Noah stared at utter wonder.
"Alright."
"Here we are at THE Vaults of Ginnungagap. They are a popular place. Many Primordial Lifeforms like to test their luck here."
...!
What Noah observed was not the radiant barrier that he remembered.
It was not THE Corrupted Vault of Ginnungagap that he had entered in his own time.
This was something older!
An ancient and primordial-looking cluster of crimson-gold billowing clouds stretched before them, roaring like beasts that had been given atmospheric form. They covered everything, stretching out horizontally and vertically to the edge of perception. There was no visible structure, no walls, no defined entrance. Just endless clouds of concentrated authority that churned and rumbled with power that predated THE Infinite Unfurling’s final establishment.
Millions of miles and light years around their vicinity, Noah could perceive variations of Ginnu Lifeforms.
They ranged from THE Surface to Fundamental Depth, entities of all scales and power levels either situated outside THE Vaults or making their way in. Some floated in contemplation, gathering their courage. Others dove into the billowing clouds with determination that spoke of goals they were desperate to achieve. A few emerged from the clouds looking triumphant. More emerged looking defeated.
This was THE Vaults in their original state.
Before eons of passage had transformed them into what Noah knew!
