Chapter 4982: Legions of Absolutes III
Chapter 4982: Legions of Absolutes III
Noah understood immediately what the Chorus represented.
An army that could not be permanently diminished. Every Maw that fell would rise again within moments. Every Bulwark that absorbed damage would be restored before that damage could accumulate toward collapse. The Chorus transformed his legions from powerful force into inexhaustible force, an army of Absolutes that could theoretically fight forever without losing members to permanent death.
Kill a Maw, and the Chorus brings it back before its power stacks can reset.
Overwhelm a Bulwark through sustained assault, and the Chorus restores it before the protected Maws become vulnerable.
Collapse a Chorus member, and the other ninety-nine continue resurrection operations without interruption.
A fucking infinite loop of defense!
"And the last. A new wonder."
The Chorus moved aside with gentle precision, their mandala patterns continuing to pulse as they joined the other formations.
The fourth hundred Absolutes came forward, and these were different from all the others in ways that went beyond mere combat capability. Their tentacles had configured into forms covered in constantly shifting geometric patterns and floating holographic interfaces that orbited their massive bodies like moons around planets. Streams of data and architectural schematics flowed through their eyes like rivers of calculation given visual form. Tools and materials and half-manifested constructs surrounded each one, suggesting beings who created rather than destroyed.
"The Architects of Infinity Specialization," Protos announced. "One hundred Absolutes who have sacrificed direct combat capability for construction and strategic enhancement."
The Architects stood amid clouds of floating geometric shapes and orbiting instruments, their nature clearly different from warriors.
Noah observed the data streaming through their eyes with appreciation for their uniqueness among the Specializations. Where Bulwarks defended and Maws attacked and Chorus healed, Architects built. They created the infrastructure upon which all other operations could be optimized.
"They can manifest defensive structures, weapons, and technological marvels for you. Their constructs persist permanently even if the Architects themselves are collapsed. And their presence accelerates all Civilizational development." Protos’s tentacles gestured toward the floating geometric shapes. "They do not even need to be on the battlefield. They can remain where you place them, working endlessly to see if they can build you something grand while battles rage elsewhere."
Architects of Infinity Specialization - Absolute Configuration
Core Transformation: Direct combat capability reduced significantly. Construction, technological development, and strategic planning authority multiplied through Bounded Countable Infinity, extending creation along geodesic paths toward all locations requiring optimization.
Infinite Blueprint Manifestation: Created constructs persist permanently in Countable sequences without maintenance requirement. Even if Architects are collapsed, their creations remain. Theoretical maximum constructs do not exist. Given time, Architects can fortify entire realms.
Resource Efficiency Through Infinity: Construction costs reduced along geodesic optimization paths until approaching negligible. Can create advanced constructs using fractions of normal resource requirements. Bounded Countable Infinity permits effectively unlimited building capacity.
Strategic Calculation Matrix: Process tactical variables in Countable sequences without termination. Consider all possible enemy responses and counter-responses simultaneously. Provide commanders with strategic options that conventional analysis cannot generate.
Technological Symbiosis: Can interface with and enhance any technology or construct. Existing defenses and weapons improve simply through Architect presence.
...!
Noah looked across the four formations now standing before him in THE Yggdrheim.
One hundred Absolute Bulwarks who could not be overwhelmed. One hundred Maws whose strikes found targets through routes that bypassed barriers and whose hunger grew infinitely with every kill they achieved. One hundred Chorus whose healing arrived with inevitability and whose resurrection reduced collapse to momentary inconvenience. One hundred Architects.
Four hundred Absolutes with Bounded Countable Infinity, each one optimized through Sacred Herb cultivation, each one carrying Specializations that had been elevated to match their Infinite nature. And there were thousands more Primus Inevitabilities waiting for the same categorizations and elevation, thousands more who would join these formations until his armies numbered in quantities that nobody could not match.
Protos’s crimson blue-gold light blazed with pride at what had been prepared.
Protos knelt once more before his master.
"My Master, I will give you an army of Absolutes that existence itself will struggle to halt."
HUUM!
Noah looked at the four hundred Absolutes standing in formation, then looked at the thousands still awaiting elevation. His devilish smile returned with intensity that made even Protos’s tentacles coil with instinctive response.
"Mm. I want a test run."
He truly did. Existence was vast and filled with terrors, and he wanted to see what his preparations could accomplish against worthy opposition. Theories and projections were useful, but nothing replaced actual demonstration against enemies who wished to destroy what he had built.
He closed his eyes and activated Infinite Undifferentiated Fate.
Endless weavings of Fate permeated around him, blue-gold threads extending in every direction along geodesic paths that connected him to probabilities spanning Observable Existence. His Infinities were already flowing across corrupted proto-matter in THE Prima Indifferentia.
His influence already touched countless regions through harvest and Seals and the connections he had established across his territories.
He asked his question to the weavings themselves.
Are there any enemies out there for me to test my works of art against?
If his Infinities sensed anything connected to him, any Undivided Ones, any Formless Terrors, any...viable Primordial Architects who weren’t too powerful, he might be able to lock onto their location. And then he could move with his Legions of Absolutes to demonstrate what mass production of Infinity truly meant.
But first, they needed a name.
A Legion of four hundred Absolutes with different Specializations working in perfect coordination required designation worthy of what they represented. Noah opened his eyes and looked across the formations awaiting his command, his mind considering titles that would capture their nature
"From this moment forward, this formation of four hundred shall be designated as a single unit."
His voice pressed against THE Yggdrheim with weight that made the assembled Absolutes straighten further in their ranks.
"You shall be called the Tetras Apeiron. The Infinite Four."
BOOM!
The name settled into existence with authority that made the formations blaze brighter with blue-gold light.
"One hundred Bulwarks. One hundred Maws. One hundred Chorus. One hundred Architects. Four Specializations unified into single expression, four aspects of Infinite warfare combined into force that fights as one organism rather than four hundred individuals."
Noah’s smile was grand!
"The first Tetras Apeiron stands before me now. But there will be more. Tetras Apeiron Secundus when the next four hundred complete their elevation. Tetras Apeiron Tertius after that. And onward until I have legions beyond counting, each one capable of operations that will bring every single fucker out there to their knees..."
Protos rose from his kneeling position, his crimson blue-gold form blazing with pride at the designation his forces had received.
"The Tetras Apeiron awaits your command, Master. Point us toward enemies worthy of demonstration, and we shall show Observable Existence what Infinity truly means, what Tyranny truly means! This...is our Duty!"
WAA!
Noah closed his eyes once more, reaching through his weavings of Fate to find targets that would serve as appropriate tests for his newly forged weapons.
