Infinite Mana In The Apocalypse

Chapter 5090: Nothing Could Repay!

Chapter 5090: Nothing Could Repay!

The waters of THE Infiniverse held depths that Amelia Osmont was still learning to navigate.

She floated within a serene pocket of the transformed reality her son had created, surrounded by currents of crimson and blue and gold that moved with purpose she couldn’t quite comprehend.

The ancient pink dolphin floating before her was one of many wonders she’d been interested in.

THE Mnemonic Leviathan regarded her with eyes that held eons of accumulated wisdom, its form radiating gentle authority. She’d grown comfortable speaking with this being!

"So," Amelia said, her voice carrying the practical skepticism she’d never quite abandoned, "that you and THE Baboon of Wisdom both came from the same... what did you call it? Singular Cognizance? Does that make you a Singular Cognizance too?"

THE Mnemonic Leviathan’s form shimmered with amusement.

"THE Beholder is the Singular Cognizance from which my existence and that of THE Baboon of Wisdom originated. We are, in a sense, fragments of a greater whole that chose to express itself through multiple forms, though I am not truly a Singular Cognizance..."

Amelia nodded slowly.

"With the permission of your son, THE Beholder is making their way to THE Infiniverse as we speak. They will be here shortly."

Amelia blinked, but before she could reply, everything changed.

HUUM!

Waves of blue Infinity erupted from her existence without warning!

The energy cascaded outward from her form in configurations she couldn’t control, couldn’t understand, couldn’t do anything but witness as it happened. And alongside that blue brilliance, golden waves of Observable force began pouring into her from somewhere beyond her perception, flooding her existence with density that should have been overwhelming.

"What-"

She couldn’t finish the word.

THE Mnemonic Leviathan’s ancient pink form recoiled in astonishment, those wise eyes widening as it witnessed something it clearly hadn’t anticipated. The waters around them churned with the force of what was occurring, currents that had been serene moments before now turbulent with energies that pressed against the boundaries of this pocket of this Realm!

Amelia was shocked at the waves of force pouring into her, at the blue light bleeding from her skin, at the sensation of something fundamental shifting in what she was!

Before her eyes, radiant blue prompts began to appear.

You have been affirmed as an Originator of an Unfathomable Cause.

Cause Classification: THE Infinite Cause.

Your Role: Primary Vessel of Emergence.

The words hung in her vision!

THE Infinite Cause has been acknowledged by its product. In acknowledging his Cause, he has acknowledged you.

You carried him for nine months while working double shifts to pay rent your husband gambled away. You felt him kick for the first time while standing exhausted, and you smiled anyway.

You gave birth to him alone in a hospital room because the man who should have been there chose cards over his own son’s first breath. You held that baby boy and promised him the world even though you had nothing to give.

You took care of him on countless restless nights when fever burned through his small body and you couldn’t afford medicine, so you held him and prayed and stayed awake until morning because that was all you could do.

When he was lost, you found him. When he was scared, you held him. When he doubted himself, you reminded him of who he was.

You taught him strength by being strong when you had every reason to break. You taught him persistence by refusing to give up when the world gave you nothing but reasons to quit. You taught him love by loving him unconditionally even when love was the only thing you had left to give.

Nothing could repay the endless nights. Nothing could possibly repay the hard work and sacrifice of a mother who chose her son over herself a thousand times without hesitation.

But this is a start.

Amelia’s vision blurred as tears began forming in her eyes.

The prompts continued!

Distinction Granted: Originator of THE Infinite Cause.

You are recognized as the vessel through which an Unfathomable Cause emerged into existence. This distinction cannot be taken, cannot be diminished, cannot be denied by any authority in Observable or Unobservable existence.

Boons of the Originator:

Existential Immunity: No force derived from THE Infinite Cause can harm you. Your son’s power, in all its forms, will always recognize you as its origin and protect you accordingly.

Causal Resonance: You will passively benefit from all advancements THE Infinite Cause achieves. As your son grows stronger, echoes of that strength will flow to you.

Observable Blessing: The connection your son has established with Gilded classification now extends a thread to your existence. You will receive a fraction of the Observable force flooding into him, enough to elevate you beyond all limitations.

Infinite Affection: THE Infinite Cause remembers. Every sacrifice, every sleepless night, every tear shed in private so your son wouldn’t see you struggling. It remembers, and it will never forget.

Amelia Osmont became teary-eyed as she was reminded of years past.

She saw flashes of memory in those prompts, moments she’d thought forgotten now illuminated with significance she’d never attributed to them!

The time she’d skipped meals for a week so Noah could have new shoes for school. She knew others would make fun of him wearing extremely worn down shoes!

The night she’d held him through a thunderstorm because he was afraid and she’d told him she’d always protect him.

All of it mattered.

All of it had contributed to what he’d become!

And now, impossibly, some of what he’d become was flowing back to her.

While such a phenomenon unfolded around Amelia Osmont, while blue Infinity and golden Observable force continued flooding into her existence in ways that defied everything THE Mnemonic Leviathan understood about how power worked, a new presence made itself known.

"What... is this?"

An ancient voice boomed out with marvel that pressed against the entirety of this Realm.

It was a voice that made THE Mnemonic Leviathan’s authority seem small by comparison, a voice that carried weight accumulated across spans that predated most current existences. It was the voice of THE Beholder, the Progenitor of THE Baboon of Wisdom and THE Mnemonic Leviathan, the Singular Cognizance who had been granted entry into THE Infiniverse.

And that ancient being had arrived just in time to witness something unprecedented.

A mother receiving acknowledgment from her son’s Cause!

---

BOOM!

The infinity shattered.

Noah’s perception slammed back into normal time with force that should have been disorienting, but he’d spent subjective days preparing for this exact moment. Everything that had been frozen resumed its motion simultaneously. Grimvault’s smile completed its brutal curve. The multicolored rain began falling again. Beowulf’s screams filled the air with renewed agony.

And Noah’s body erupted with golden light.

HUUM!

Observable force radiated from his existence in waves that pressed against everything within range, density unlike anything he’d produced before flooding outward from foundations that had fundamentally changed during those stretched days of infinity. The connection to Eon blazed a hundredfold brighter than it had been, golden rivers crashing into his existence with intensity that painted the destroyed battlefield in hues of impossible brilliance.

Both Noah and Ozymandias moved in perfect synchrony.

Their bodies shifted simultaneously, the titanic frame of Ozymandias and the comparatively small form of Noah turning toward Grimvault with unified intent that declared their shared purpose. The changes from THE Infinite Cause were already beginning to bloom through their connected existence, transformation accelerating in ways that objective time had never witnessed before.

Noah’s voice emerged from both mouths at once.

"Grimvault."

The word boomed across the battlefield from two sources simultaneously, his primary body and Ozymandias speaking as one entity despite their separate forms.

"Let me see what Calymmian is all about!"

BOOM!

Both bodies surged toward the most powerful entity on the enemy side.

The discrepancy in power was absurd. Grimvault stood at the Calymmian Tier with ninety-four percent Proterozoic Bone saturation and four Proterozoic Organs.

Noah was technically still at THE First Scale, and even Ozymandias at Rhyacian couldn’t match that density of transformed existence. Charging directly at such a being should have been suicide.

Noah didn’t care.

Naldine sighed behind him as she watched his charge begin. She knew she couldn’t change his mind, knew that arguing would accomplish nothing against someone who had just acknowledged his own birth as a Cause equal to those that formed Observable Existences. This crazy fucker.

He had to for sure be mad from Infinity already!

Her fingers found the strings of her Vihuela as she turned her gaze coldly toward...Vahrkosis.

"I suppose we each have our roles to play," she murmured.

THE Primordial Paradox stretched his obsidian titanic form beside where Noah had been standing, joints crackling with authority that pressed against the destroyed battlefield. He turned his attention toward Sammarthiel, toward those six wings of burning and frozen swords, toward the being who claimed Paradox as his Civilization just as Erwin did.

"The Paradox Bearer," he said with voice that held amusement beneath its ancient weight. "Let us see whose contradictions run deeper."

The battle divided into three parts!
