Chapter 5109: My Scales!
Chapter 5109: My Scales!
While Ruination and THE Infiniverse began their task of compacting and hiding THE Infiniverse from beings infinitely more powerful, Noah took a look at himself.
He was thinking about the Scales of Existence and his own power.
Vakochev’s Scales.
They didn’t only seem like someone else’s blueprint of what power was across all of existence. They felt like a proposed structure of how things should be that someone had managed to get their name on, influencing what the system of power was for everything that existed. For something like this, Noah could look at Vakochev and say they had accomplished something grand.
To impose their vision of what the system of power should be for all of existence, Vakochev had to be someone unique.
When he thought about himself, he had only appeared and touched Mana more than three years ago. He was young in relation to all of existence. In respect to the Observable Existence he was in alone, he had not lived even a fraction of the time after the emergence of THE First Cause that differentiated everything. And the time before that, filled with endless potential, was countless cycles longer than the span after THE First Cause.
So yes. He was young.
Was Vakochev someone who had been alive even before the emergence of THE First Cause? What exactly did one need to have to be capable of instituting their vision across all of existence?
But however grand that person was, Noah would not let them define him. He also wanted to find his own path!
Every stage he entered, he ended up doing something uniquely his. Even while crossing the Wheel of Existence and messing around with True Sources, he had developed his own unique system compared to everyone else. He briefly thought about The Great Beyonder and The Omnifather. About the concepts of Megalos and Kuklos and Outerversal and Ordo Ab Chao and many other things that had defined his journey.
Infinity and Mana was the one singular constant even now.
He looked at his First Tongue.
Its weavings seemed innumerable and endless, the language of existence itself. He had connected this with Mana as the basal authority that could transform into anything else. He used to utter words or write words or Inscriptions, intricately playing with Embodiments and Apophasis. Even now, these capabilities still bloomed within his existence.
But at this moment in time, he was utilizing the immense force of Infinity itself. His own existence had been geared and positioned with Observable Force due to his connection with a Gilded Lifeform. When one could conjure the weight and immensity of an entire sea of Infinity, when one could channel the very musings of the force of what was Observable, he didn’t find himself needing to write out Archai or Apophasis or Embodiments anymore.
The raw power had grown tremendously.
But he still had the weavings of Perpetual Harvest and The Cheating Architect within him, foundations that defined his existence at its core. His efforts always produced harvests. And he linked all of it with Infinity to bring about infinite potential, which allowed him to utilize his Hadean Organ of Civilization to multiply everything by a factor of ten and elevate it further by an exponent of three with anything he brought inside of him.
All of this came together to help him in his transformation.
A transformation that eventually gave him glistening multicolored golden Hadean Organs and Bones.
Noah looked at himself.
His skin illuminated from within, allowing him to see what lay beneath. The multicolored golden bones became visible within his body, crystalline structures that seemed sacred in their perfection. His organs pulsed with the same radiance, each one transformed into something that exceeded what Proterozoic classification represented. They were holy things, wonders that shouldn’t have been possible for someone of his age and origin.
And yet here they were.
Here he was!
Quintessentially! Tyrannically!
He had already come to the decision that he would not be following whatever the measurements of Vakochev’s Scales were. Those Scales had been designed by someone else, imposed upon existence by someone else, named after someone else. Why should he accept limitations that another being had established? Why should he measure himself against frameworks that didn’t account for what he had become?
"My power... is my own."
His voice emerged with conviction that pressed against the multicolored sea surrounding him.
"So I will design my own Scale of Existence. My own Scale of Progression."
BOOM!
He raised his hand, watching the golden light that pressed outward through his transformed flesh.
"One that accounts for all aspects of existence. Accounting for Bounded. Accounting for Gilded. Accounting for the very unfair nature of existence. I...don’t know how they will be structured yet."
His eyes blazed like singularities.
"So I will simply engineer them as I go. They won’t be Vakochev’s Scales of Existence."
His voice grew heavier.
"These will be my own. These will be THE Infinite Scales of Existence!"
BOOM!
His words pressed against everything nearby, authority declaring intent that challenged the very foundations of how power had been measured since before most current beings existed!
As the echo faded, Noah considered the naming.
He had thought about calling them the Osmontian Scales of Existence. It would have been fitting in a way, his name attached to his creation just as Vakochev’s name was attached to theirs. But that felt wrong. It felt like he was trying to compete with Vakochev on their terms, trying to replace one person’s ego with another’s.
He had also considered the Hadean Scales of Existence. That classification was unique to him, something that existed outside what others understood. But Hadean described what he currently was, not what his Scales would measure. They needed to be broader than a single classification.
Infinity.
That was the constant. That was what had defined his journey from the moment he first threw endless fireballs. Infinity had been with him through every stage, every transformation, every impossible advancement. It wasn’t his name, but it was his nature. It was what made him capable of what others said was impossible.
And unlike tacking his name onto something, calling them THE Infinite Scales didn’t feel like ego. It felt like...well, moreso like the truth. The Scales would be infinite in their potential, infinite in their scope, infinite in their capacity to grow and change as he grew and changed. They wouldn’t be static like Vakochev’s Scales. They would evolve.
He didn’t want to be like Vakochev, imposing his name on existence.
He wanted to create something that could encompass everything, including himself. Something infinite.
BOOM!
The moment his decision solidified, the air before him shifted.
I have registered your intent to construct an independent framework for measuring and categorizing power across existence. This is an undertaking of considerable magnitude.
Ruination’s voice emerged as she continued her work on THE Infinite Calabi-Yau Manifolds simultaneously.
You are beginning to construct the backbone of your own Scales of Existence. THE Infinite Scales, as you have named them. Unlike Vakochev’s Scales, which were established according to principles that predate most current understanding and have remained static since their implementation, your Scales will be dynamic. They will evolve as you evolve. They will expand as your comprehension expands.
The definition, designations, and structure of THE Infinite Scales are entirely dependent on you and how you choose to proceed. This grants tremendous flexibility but also tremendous responsibility.
There are several possibilities that this opens.
First, your First Infinite Scale could encompass what Vakochev’s framework designates as both THE First Scale and THE Second Scale. The distinction between those classifications, which Vakochev established as the presence or absence of a Civilizational Anchor, may not be relevant to your own system. You have demonstrated that someone without a formal Civilizational Anchor can exceed those who possess one. Your Scales could reflect this reality.
Second, if you can quantify and understand THE Third Scale, your framework could encompass that as well.
Third, and perhaps most significantly, the direction of your power is yours to decide. Vakochev’s Scales measure power according to Vakochev’s understanding of what power should be. Your Scales will measure power according to your understanding. If you believe that Hadean classification exceeds Proterozoic regardless of Scale designation, your framework can reflect that. If you believe that Bounded can exceed Gilded under certain conditions, your framework can account for that as well.
The engineering of THE Infinite Scales has begun. How they develop from this point forward depends entirely on the choices you make and the comprehension you achieve.
...!
Noah looked at the notifications floating before him!
His own Scales of Existence. A framework that would grow with him rather than constrain him. Something infinite in its potential, just as he was infinite in his own way!
