Chapter 1843: Epic Invention
Chapter 1843: Epic Invention
Wang Wei glanced at the imperfection around him. The situation was dire, meaning he needed to be extra careful, or the boat would cascade. As he analyzed this new world to determine what to do next, Wang Wei’s face became even more somber because he had discovered another flaw. The mastermind began accelerating their plans, leaving even more traces.
"Is this because I visited the Tribunal Lords?" Wang Wei thought. Although he tried to be casual and sneaky about it, it seems the mastermind had detected something. And now, time was running out.
Numerous thoughts flashed in Wang Wei’s mind as he calculated his next move. "First, I need to regain partial control. At the very least, I need my quarters to be isolated and inaccessible to the mastermind. Once that is done, I can focus on regaining full control over the Heaven and Earth Origin Cycle Array."
Time was of the essence, so Wang Wei immediately plunged into action. First, he activated the Heaven Deception Array from his Holy Son Mansion. The last thing he wanted was for the mastermind to realize he was regaining control. So, by deceiving them, Wang Wei had no worry when he subtly changed the array to regain control.
His new ability helped immensely. By eliminating all the imperfect traces his action left, his work proceeded more smoothly than he had anticipated. Although the process was stressful and required careful maneuvering, the result was more than satisfactory.
"With the Chaos Source World under my control, I can use my Saint Art at any time," Wang Wei thought, finally feeling relieved. Without the Mirror Seed or military merit to buy a Saint-tier talisman, Wang Wei felt completely insecure. But now, if something truly went awry, he had a fighting chance.
The next step was to regain control over the entire array. However, Wang Wei immediately ran into a wall: his skill was not enough. Ultimately, the Heaven and Earth Origin Cycle Array was a second-step array. Because Wang Wei previously had one of the highest authority grades over the formation, his knowledge could allow him to regain control of his own quarters, but that’s only a small portion of the array. Given his current knowledge of arrays, he probably couldn’t even handle a first-step formation.
"If only Hong’er were here," Wang Wei sighed. If his wife were here, she would have definitely come up with something. "Wait, if Wu Hong is not here, why don’t I bring her?" It’s impossible for him to summon his wife to this timeline due to the blockade, and even if he could, he wouldn’t put her in such a dangerous situation. But Wang Wei could think of another way to bring her expertise to the table.
With a flicker of his wrist, Wang Wei manifested a Yin-Yang Array. The idea behind his plan is simple: first, he used the concept of Yin and Yang to imitate qubits, which are the foundation of Quantum Computers. Qubits — unlike bits (0 or 1) — can exist in a state of both 0 and 1 simultaneously, which is a perfect manifestation of the Dao of Yin and Yang.
Once the Yin-Yang Quantum Computer Array was created, Wang Wei proceeded to the next step: modeling its thinking mode after his wife, Wu Hong. First, he ensured the core of the array was modeled after the brain composition of his wife. After spending so many years with her, he’s even seen her [Existence], meaning it was simple to recreate her brain composition.
The third step was similar to the first; this time, he created an Array Spirit modeled after Wu Hong’s soul. The brain was not enough to capture Wu Hong’s essence; it needed her soul.
Wang Wei frowned after seeing the spirit that resembled his wife. "This feels unethical." Normally, morality and ethics were the last thing on his mind, but since it involved his wife, his buried sense of right and wrong was awakening. "Let’s change how she looks," Wang Wei decided, turning the spirit into an ordinary-looking woman.
The final step of this plan was the most crucial. What was the key to Wu Hong’s success? The foundation of her strength and ability? The answer was knowledge. To this day, Wang Wei hasn’t finished reading all the books and scrolls in her library. Unfortunately, replicating this aspect was not an easy task.
"Even after knowing her [Existence], I cannot perfectly replicate her knowledge and experience," Wang Wei frowned. Many of his wife’s experiences and information cannot be replicated with Wang Wei’s current skill. So, unless he found another way, the final product will not have the result he wishes.
"Let me think. I can recreate as much as possible, and for the impossible aspects, I can use the deep cause and effect between us," Wang Wei analyzed. Even if this timeline is sealed, the cause-and-effect connection between Wang Wei and Wu Hong still exists, just severely limited. However, since he only wishes to use it to condense memories and experiences, it might still be feasible.
"I can use the inspiration from the Mirror Seed," Wang Wei continued. During his exchange with Dongfang, he had memorized all the Dao Rhymes and energy signatures of the Mirror Seed in an attempt at recreating its power after he was sanctified. Now, all that data can be used for this Yin-Yang Quantum Computer Array.
"Let’s begin," Wang Wei muttered. Ignoring the passage of time and upcoming danger, he dedicated himself to the current project. And with each passing second, the array becomes more complex and perfect. Wang Wei did not pursue perfection in this array, but somehow, it leaked into his work. And since it had already happened, he did not correct it and let nature take its course.
Wang Wei placed the last material in the array, and it finally condensed—an instant connection formed between him and the array, prompting Wang Wei to close his eyes. For a moment, he thought he had returned to the Saint Realm. The world he had previously seen, with countless hidden rules woven into the fabric of reality itself, once again showed itself to Wang Wei.
However, he soon realized it was different. His soul or mind did not sense these rules. Instead, his mind was now so powerful that he had calculated the existence of these rules; the fact that he knew they existed helped the process, but regardless, Wang Wei was shocked. Previously, his comprehension was already at the pinnacle of the world, and the speed at which his mind operated was in a class of his own. But now he has somehow improved.
"No, this is not just an increase in the speed of my thoughts, but also the way I see the world. It appears I’ve also inherited Hong’er’s mode of thinking," Wang Wei analyzed. The best way to describe this Yin-Yang Quantum Computer Array is as if he stuck an evolved quantum computer into Wu Hong’s mind before fusing with her soul, combining their comprehension, thoughts, and cognitive abilities.
"I’ve created something wonderful," Wang Wei realized. His original goal was to create a solution to his current predicament. But now, he realized he had created something of epic proportions by combining the knowledge of two civilizations.
"The scariest part is this is not even the full potential of this Yin-Yang Quantum Computer Array," Wang Wei thought. "If I continue to follow the concept of Yin and Yang and establish my version as the Yang aspect, Hong’er can create her version as the Yin aspect. Then, we can combine them into an even higher creation."
Wang Wei’s eyes shine with brilliant lights. The current array was not even in its perfect state. With the blockade, there is still a limit to using the power of causality to condense Wu Hong’s memories, meaning this array can only truly be perfected by the two working together after returning home.
Wu Hong then needs to create the [Yin Version], which models Wang Wei’s brain, soul, and experience, before combining the array into its final form. The couple will then engrave these arrays into their Sea of Consciousness and be forever bonded at the soul level. They will share everything: their talent, comprehension, memories, unique gifts, and everything else.
"I’m really a genius," Wang Wei muttered before laughing like a madman for the next few minutes. His bright future was even more dazzling with this invention.
"With such an epic invention, should I share it with the sect?" Wang Wei thought. "The ancestors are fine, but keeping it a secret might not be such a bad thing." The last thing anyone would want is for this technology to leak.
"Wait, can those three even use it? Probably. Yan Hai will be the Yin; Qiyuan can represent the Yang; and Li Ming will be the [Transformation], the key to connecting Yin and Yang. Hmm, the great Dao of Yin and Yang is all encompassing, how could the number of people limit it?"
No matter how many people are involved, this formation applies to them, so Wang Wei was embarrassed by himself for asking such a stupid question.
