Kiran's eyes widened as he was suddenly transported into a dark dimension.

The people were peaceful and happy.

Finally, the scenery changed one last time, and Kiran saw the Sun brightening above a couple of Specters.

Unending suffering.

It was too horrifying to witness.

In the end, everything turned dark again.

"This was the last era."

"I can't do that. I don't know how to lead anyone. I don't know what to do. I'm just a normal guy from a random city."

"SILENCE!" the voice spoke again.

"I have chosen you!"

"I can see all the thoughts of all the humans in the world!"

"I can see every secret in their bodies and minds!"

"I can destroy the skies, the seas, and the ground if I so choose to!"

"I have lived for thousands of years, and I have seen billions of people!"

"Do you believe you know how to choose someone better than me?!"

"No, of course not!" Kiran shouted.

"I have chosen you," the voice spoke.

"I have looked at every human in the world, and I have chosen you."

"You are the most qualified person for the job."

Kiran looked at the ground with horrified eyes.

How could he argue against that?

And yet, he just couldn't see it.

How was he special?

"You lack belief in yourself," the voice spoke.

Kiran nodded.

"Do you believe in my power?" the voice asked.

"I do," Kiran answered.

"Do you believe in my wisdom?"

"I do," Kiran said.

"Then, why do you lack belief in yourself? I believe in you, and if someone with my power and wisdom believes in you, how can you doubt that?"

"You might not trust yourself."

"But you trust me."

"And I believe in you."

"I do not make wrong choices."

"What about you?"

"What will your choice be?"

"Will you lead humanity, or will you join the billions of forgotten humans?"

Kiran was still uncertain.

He couldn't decide.

"You have already made your choice," the voice spoke. "I can see it in your heart."

"The choice is made."

"Why hesitate?"

"If you believe in me," he said, looking up at the darkness.
