Chapter 1832: Chapter 1822: Suspecting It Was Written by Enna Clark
The elevator closed with a ding.
Baron Lawrence squinted, watching the elevator doors close, fury gathering in his chest, causing him to kick the trash can in front of him.
’Bang—’
The poor trash can hit the wall, and the contract he had crumpled like pickles rolled out, landing right beside his feet.
His eyes were full of rage; jealousy was almost driving him out of control.
Enna Clark was going to have dinner with Lyle Westbrook?
Ha, confessed one moment, and dating the next?
His heart felt like it was being torn apart, his temples throbbed sharply, and the veins on his forehead were bulging.
Baron Lawrence clenched his fists, standing in place, his thin lips pressed tightly together, as the rusty taste of blood spread in his mouth...
"Damn it!"
He punched the wall.
A sharp pain spread from the back of his hand, slightly easing the suffocating pain in his heart, as he glanced at the contract he had crumpled into a mess.
He bent down to pick it up, unfolding the A4 paper that was wrinkled beyond recognition.
The four bolded words "Breakup Contract" made him feel murderous.
He read it item by item.
Clear and orderly, definitions precise.
From the agreement that money would not be exchanged post-breakup, to not interfering in each other’s lives, to the custody of the two children, everything was written clearly.
Even the number of days he could see the two kids each month was meticulously detailed.
Baron Lawrence couldn’t help but tighten his grip on the contract.
The poor contract suffered once again, crumpling into another ball of pickles!
The contract was written so clearly and methodically, totally unlike something a nine-year-old would write.
It wasn’t that he doubted Bobby’s intelligence, but given Bobby’s age, many things should be beyond his understanding. Yet, all these details were laid out clearly, including the children’s allocation and visiting times.
Therefore, he suspected that Enna Clark had drafted this contract!
Enna Clark...
When did she even get this prepared!
Was she that eager to sever ties completely with him!?
In fact, he totally misunderstood Enna Clark this time; Enna was purely an innocent bystander. The reason Bobby could draft such a contract was that it wasn’t his own creation at all! It certainly wasn’t written by Enna either! He had seen it on the mother-in-law TV series he often watched and had simply printed it out line by line.
So this was entirely a beautiful misunderstanding.
However, Baron Lawrence wasn’t aware of his genius son’s peculiar hobby, and the only conclusion he could come to was blaming Enna Clark!
His chest felt oppressed as if suffocated, his heart turning icy cold. He tore the contract to shreds and threw it on the floor, breathing heavily.
Just then, Scott Harris returned after dropping Bobby off.
Seeing the mess in the living room, he paused his breathing, lowered his head, and tried not to provoke the man standing in the center of the chaos, "Lord, the little master has returned."
"En." Baron Lawrence’s voice seemed to come from an iceberg, every breath cold.
His mood was at its lowest, with nowhere to vent. He thought of only one place to release his frustration, "Prepare the car, to the company!"
"Yes, Lord."
Scott Harris sneaked a glance at him and went to make arrangements.
The handsome and noble man stood for a few seconds, then turned and went back to the bedroom, entering the cloakroom.
Ten minutes later, the Lincoln smoothly drove out of Birch Garden, heading towards Lawrence Headquarters—
