Enna Clark refused to give up, and called Scott Harris twice more. Both times it was the same situation: as soon as the call connected, a cold female voice answered, "Sorry, the number you dialed is currently out of service. Please try again later."

"Sorry, the number you dialed is currently out of service..."

Enna Clark set down her phone, frowning deeply.

Out of service?

How could that be?

At seven in the evening, she called Bobby, and they were still at home.

Later, Bobby said they were going out, but in just over two hours they couldn’t have left the boundaries of Country W. How could Mr. Harris’s phone not connect and show out of service?

Enna Clark vaguely felt that something was off.

Carrying her phone, she walked out and went back to the living room. She spoke with concern to the man still engrossed in his game on the sofa, "Baron Lawrence, Bobby’s phone is turned off, and I can’t reach Mr. Harris. Can you think of any way to contact them?"

"Hm?" The man paused his game halfway, raised his head abruptly, furrowed his thick and charismatic brows, and asked Enna Clark, "You can’t reach them?"

Enna Clark explained what had happened, "I just checked and it’s already half past nine, Bobby and the others haven’t returned yet. I wanted to call him to ask where he was. But when I dialed Bobby’s number, it showed his phone was off. Then Mr. Harris’s was listed as out of service..."

"When I called Bobby in the afternoon, they were still at home, how can Mr. Harris’s phone signal show it’s out of service? I’m a bit worried..."

Baron Lawrence also sensed something subtly wrong. Not caring whether he was in the middle of a game, he steadily exited the game screen. He opened the phone book, stood up from the sofa, and, with his long legs, said to Enna Clark, "Wait a minute, I’ll have someone investigate."

"Okay."

Enna Clark nodded restlessly.

Baron Lawrence saw the worry on her fair face, pressed his lips together, leaned down and bit her lip, his voice husky, "Don’t worry, I’m here. Maybe Tobias Clark doesn’t want you to find them, and deliberately turned off his phone and tampered with Scott Harris’s phone. I’ll know once I check."

This explanation was too far-fetched, but it was indeed something her family Bobby might do.

Enna Clark watched him as he took his phone to the floor-to-ceiling window and made a call. But she was too far, and Baron Lawrence spoke quietly, so she couldn’t hear what he was saying to the person on the other end.

She only heard some words like "hm," "got it," "where are they."

As soon as Baron Lawrence finished the call, she immediately went up to him and asked, "Where are Bobby and the others?"

"At your uncle."

"Uncle? Why did they go to Uncle’s place? Why is the phone off?"

Enna Clark still felt something wasn’t right, but seeing the calm look on the man’s face in front, it didn’t seem like he was lying.

Baron Lawrence’s dark eyes showed no sign of anything unusual, he provided a reasonable explanation, "It’s a blind date. Somehow he found a female orthopedics doctor, together with Old Madam Habsden, wanted to introduce her to your uncle. They arranged to meet at a hotel, and Bobby followed them there. He probably doesn’t want you to know until the deal is sealed, so he turned off his phone and quietly tampered with Scott Harris’s phone."

"How do you..."know?

Enna Clark hadn’t finished asking when the domineering man already grabbed the coat draped over the sofa, and while heading out, he said to her, "I’m going out to pick him up, Enna Clark, go ahead and sleep."
