Chapter 2438: Chapter 2447: Will Not Divorce Enna Clark

As soon as he spoke, Baron’s eyes suddenly darkened, and he rejected it without thinking, "I can’t let you take her away! She is mine!"

Edward was very dissatisfied with him using such an immature tone to discuss the issue with him, frowned slightly, and said, "I don’t want to see Enna being wronged, you should understand what I mean."

"I won’t let her be wronged! We are already married now, I won’t let you take her away!"

Even if they weren’t married, he wouldn’t allow Edward to take her away.

Even if Edward is Enna’s own Little Uncle, it wouldn’t matter!

He wouldn’t allow Enna to leave him!

With a chilly look in his eyes, Baron said in a cold tone, "I will handle the Old Man’s side. I won’t let today’s situation happen again."

He spoke with certainty, but Edward knew that the matter wasn’t as easily resolved as he said. Edward still furrowed his brow, didn’t say anything further out of courtesy, and instead asked, "When do you think you will find them? How will you explain this to Enna?"

"Wait another hour, if within the hour I haven’t found them, I’ll call her and say they’re with you. Tonight, the Old Lady wants to take them back to stay for a night. If she doesn’t believe, let her talk to you." Baron was very clear on this; he had thought it through long ago.

He said that Bobby went to Edward’s place, and the Old Madam Habsden wants to take him back for a night, knowing that Enna most likely won’t believe it.

But with Edward saying so, Enna would at least be half convinced.

He watched the video footage captured by those surveillance cameras and confirmed that Bobby and his company had shaken off the tailing vehicles. It’s almost certain that the two are safe; finding them is just a matter of time.

As long as people can be found, even if it’s a lie, Enna wouldn’t find out.

Edward pondered for a moment and thought it was feasible.

Once the two men finished discussing serious matters, they had nothing more to say.

Standing at the hotel entrance, waiting for news to come back.

Fortunately, before Enna’s call came through, Edward’s people found Bobby and his companion.

Bobby and Scott both looked a bit disheveled, especially Scott, who had a scratch on his arm. Bobby was better, with only a scrape on his knee, though his complexion wasn’t great, pale and haggard from the shock.

Scott, seeing him, immediately walked forward guiltily, "Lord, sorry. I failed to protect Young Master."

"It’s not your fault."

Baron’s gaze moved past him and landed on the person beside him. Bobby stood next to Scott, his small face pale, eyes still showing signs of fear.

"Lord, Young Master, he..." Scott saw Baron looking at Bobby and was about to say Bobby had been frightened by the afternoon’s events so that he wouldn’t blame the Young Master for wanting to go out alone that afternoon.

Before he finished speaking, he saw the stern man reach out, pull the pale-faced young boy standing there, and tersely say, "Follow me."

The tone sounded icy!

"Lord." Scott was startled, not expecting him to really want to settle accounts with Bobby at this time, instinctively went forward to stop him.

Just as he took a step forward, he was halted by a cold look from Baron, and he looked on helplessly as Bobby was taken into the hotel...

Scott, worried and anxious, paced in circles, thinking to ask Edward for intercession yet knowing Baron’s character wouldn’t budge on softness, fearing Edward speaking for Bobby would further anger him.

Just standing there, anxious and helpless...
