Chapter 26
Chapter 26
Insufferable Rage
“You wait here, and I’ll look for our folks.” Su Ying ran out.
Li Da brought all the prisoners to an open space. Just as he was about to let them rest, he saw a figure running towards him.
Only when the figure got close could he see her face clearly. Li Da froze on the spot!
Li Da rubbed his eyes hard, and when he opened them again, Su Ying was already in front of him.
Looking at Su Ying’s eyes, which were as bright as day and deep as an abyss, Li Da’s fantasies were shattered!
This fiend was still alive!
She was still alive after falling from such a high chain bridge!
Not only that, but she was also able to find them… Why did she come back? Wouldn’t it be better to find a place to spend the rest of her life? What did she have to come back for?
“Sir, how have you been?”
It was good before but didn’t feel so good after seeing you.
“You’re fortunate.”
“The heavens dared not take me. I had no choice. I just want to ask, Sir, are my children and family doing well? ”
Li Da was extremely glad he didn’t have any ideas about that bag of tiger meat. Otherwise, he might not be able to see the sun tomorrow.
“They’re still here.”
Su Ying assumed the children were fine, so she didn’t waste any more time talking to Li Da and went straight into the group to look for them.
“Boss, am I seeing things? She’s actually still alive?”
“You’re not mistaken.”
All the bailiffs sighed. This woman was indeed not human!
At the back of the group, Jiang Yang was surrounded by a few people.
A man with a knife scar on his face stared at the bundle in his hand. It was the tiger jerky, and some food Su Ying bought in the county town and left them.
“Do it!”
At the man’s command, the other people pounced on Jiang Yang.
Jiang Yang’s kung fu wasn’t bad, but he had to protect the tiger meat and prevent the men from attacking Ji and the others. He couldn’t handle it after some time.
“You bunch of bastards, this isn’t something you can snatch.” He Shouyi also raised his stick and went forward to help, but those people were too brutal. He Shouyi was quickly thrown to the ground.
“Go and get the two children. They will be worth two mouthfuls of meat.”
When Bai Shuang, who was protecting Ji and the rest, heard that, she was so scared that her face turned pale. She and Mama Zhao held Ji and Ling tightly and retreated.
However, how could they be a match for these strong men? They were quickly pressed to the ground.
Bai Shuang protected Ling under her body, not letting anyone snatch her away.
Zhang Cuiniang was frightened by the scene. She grabbed Lin Sheng’s hand tightly and asked people around for help. “Please, please, save them. You’ve eaten the tiger meat that Madam gave you before.”
The men who she begged looked away coldly. It was good enough that they could protect themselves. Why would they meddle in other people’s business?
Zhang Cuiniang saw that those people were indifferent and picked up a stone on the ground and said to Lin Sheng, “Sheng, stay here and don’t run around. Mother will go help.”
“Mother, I’ll go too!”
“No, you wait here. We can’t forget their kindness!” As she spoke, she lifted the stone and rushed into the chaotic battle.
Little Lin Sheng also grabbed a stone and rushed over.
However, they were old and weak, women and children, and Jiang Yang was held back by the others and could only watch as those people pounced on Bai Shuang and the others like crazy.
“Help, help… Ah, Young Miss!” Someone suddenly kicked him, and his body tilted and fell.
A man lifted Ling from the ground. He grinned at Ling with his yellow teeth, and his eyes filled with greed. “There’s meat for the pot, hahaha…”
Ling was so frightened that she cried loudly.
Ji wanted to help his sister when he saw that she had been captured, but someone grabbed his neck. “It’s not easy for you little bastard to run away!”
“Young Lord! Young Lord!” Mama Zhao was so anxious that she wanted to snatch the kids back, but someone stepped on her hand and crushed it with force.
“Ah!”
When Su Ying came running, she saw the two kids being held up like hanging meat. She felt her blood boil as she watched Mama Zhao and the others being stepped on.
She was like an arrow shot from a bow. She rushed out and kicked the head of the man who was holding Ling.
The man’s body turned stiff while his head rolled to the ground.
Su Ying hugged Ling, covered her eyes, and stepped on the head that had rolled to her feet. She crushed it. Her phoenix eyes were full of dark hostility.
“You’re looking for death!”
“M-Madam, Madam!” Bai Shuang looked at Su Ying’s back and shouted.
Jiang Yang, covered in injuries, looked at Su Ying, charging into the battle like an angry beast. The killing intent in his eyes grew sturdy, and his body seemed filled with strength as he punched out.
The crowd widened their eyes in shock when they saw Su Ying’s sudden reappearance.
The men who tried to snatch the tiger meat and the children were all beaten up by Su Ying.
Su Ying carried Ling and stood in the middle of the prisoners. The hostility around her only intensified. “I’ve said it before. If anyone dares to touch my people, I’ll crush his head. I, Su Ying, always keep my word!”
The remaining prisoners who were still alive shivered in fear. They could only lie on the ground and play dead, hoping they could escape this disaster!
“Ah, mother, mother…” Ling hugged Su Ying and burst into tears. Su Ying’s heart was broken when she heard her soft cries.
She quickly patted Ling’s back to comfort her. “Don’t be afraid. Don’t be afraid. Mother is back. No one will dare to harm Ling again.”
Su Ying carried Ling and went forward to help Bai Shuang and Mama Zhao up. Jiang Yang also supported his body and carried Ji up from the ground.
“Madam, where is His Highness?” It was the first time Jiang Yang was willing to address Su Ying politely.
“He’s waiting in a carriage at the city gate. Now, pack up your things. We’ll go over.”
Hearing that Xiao Jin was still alive, Jiang Yang finally smiled.
No matter what Su Ying had done previously, when she jumped down to save Xiao Jin without hesitation, all the grudges in the past had been written off.
Su Ying looked at Ling and saw her pouting as she looked back. The little girl was terrified but did not let her tears flow out.
This child was really… She was so sensible that it made one’s heart ache. “Come, Ji. I’ll take you to your father, OK? ”
Ji’s eyes were red as he nodded and let Su Ying carry him.
“Uncle He, Mrs. Zhang, are you guys alright?”
They were overjoyed to see Su Ying return, and their injuries no longer feel pain. They had unconsciously treated Su Ying as their hope for the future.
“All good, all good. It’s great that Madam and Master returned safely.”
“Yes, yes.”
The few of them supported each other as they walked forward. Xiao Jin had already driven over and was waiting ahead.
The bailiffs watching from outside the crowd just now looked at the bloody mess on the ground and felt lucky that they hadn’t done anything to these people these few days. Otherwise, they would turn into this pile of meat paste on the ground!
