Chapter 2117: A Different World

The Three Fates might be an ancient being but even their powers are derived from the Great Paths in the Omniverse

Their ability to see through fate and destiny and even deduced fate and destiny is incomparable to any other beings other than those Norns and those few beings with high affinity with time and space but in terms of fighting power they could not withstand bombardment of Divine Sense by a Sovereign

And now Loki did not even have to, for lack of a better word "bombard" the magical shrouded that the Three Fates bestowed upon Fir Her Waz

He sighed

"That Yrinian would not stop. He is less of a warrior, a terrorist, or an invader. He is just a father, a husband, that wanted his family back."

"All of it was written. And all of it is simply tribulation for him. But maybe.... just maybe this time I could hope for a different ending." Loki could not help but smiles bitterly

In many stories he had seen people have many times to go back and change things. And when Loki held the power of Sovereign, to change the life of a mortal using the method of time and space is an easy thing

You could try it as many times as you could. and even if one could not do it infinitely, there is still many tries that are afforded to you

But with Azief and his fate and destiny.... this is the last chance. There is only one chance to make this right

"then there would be the Annihilator. The world without the Prince of Darkness"

And Loki could not help but shakes his head

"Is that still slated to happen? Could it even happen this time? If Azief succeeded in creating the Primordial Body could the Annihilator even break such a body"

No wonder Azief current attempt shakes all time and space. Because this one change would affect so many subsequent events and matters of the future

That Annihilator is still coming to Earth. But who knows? Now that there is a ripple of space and time, that Annihilator might be thrown about in time and space

Destiny and fate would try to course correct. If Azief become stronger then the Annihilator also needs to be a bit stronger

Destiny and Fate might interfere and send the Annihilator in a journey of fortuitous encounter so that he could at least become a good tribulation for Azief.

This is just his speculation but there is a chance that fate and destiny would do this kind of things

Loki remembers this battle. He even remembers how the media of his time sells this story.

The Prince Battle His Most Powerful Enemies Yet!

At that time, no one thought that the Prince would lost. No one even though he would die.

The Annihilator.

The Deharian race killing machine. Loki himself still remember what the cause and effect of this matter.

The Deharian race discovered something about humans that will one day bring calamity to the Universe

Some said that the Deharian race discovered a set of genes in humans that would bring about this calamity

Well, Loki did not buy that story

Maybe that is what the Deharian race said and maybe that is what some people believe.

But Loki did research on the Deharian race

His research did not mean he was going to the library and check out some books or go to some cosmic computer and then type in Deharian race to seek information

He basically torn open time and space to the moment that the Deharian race was creating the Annihilator.

He wanted to know the motivation of that race to destroy humans in particular

But a surprising thing happens.

He could not go.

And that is something weird.

There is something suspicious about it.

Because there are not many time nodes in the Omniverse that a Sovereign could not go

With this revelation, Loki seek a different path and a different method of searching.

After some deep searching of time and space he found out that the Time Lords and even the Orvan had some contact with the Deharian race a few hundred years before the Deharian created the Annihilator.

The Time Lords rarely interact with other civilization. Especially no a civilization like Deharian.

The Deharian race have many technological advancements and have many gadgets and many knowledge.

But if there is one thing their knowledge is woefully ignorant about....it would be the fact that they do not have powerful method in time and space

The Time Lords usually consorted with the kind of alien race that have reached a certain realm of meddling with time and space.

This is because they had to try to regulate the timeline.

They even know a few organizations in the Omniverse that is decided in protecting the timeline.

And so of course they also know Orvan, that scholarly alien race that always look at the Omniverse with that mysterious telescope of theirs.

But whether they were really scholarly or not....one must wonder.

And then there was the Orvan.

That slimy alien race has always been suspicious.

The Annihilator was it really just a coincidence that they targeted humans?

Or was there a deeper plot in it.

Then the annihilator was captured by the United Intergalactic Alliance.

And who was on the board of this Alliance?

Olympus was one of them.

But the Time Lords also have a say.

They are not a part of it but they do give some consultation.

After all the kind of things the United Intergalactic Alliance deal with always touches with the matter of time and space

All of it is there to create a narrative

In his time, the Annihilator landed at sea.

Created an earthquake all over the world.

Tsunamis raging and it alerted the Sovereigns.

And then the moment the Annihilator appears it begins feeding off the energy of the Heaven and Earth

Loki look again at this new world and could not help but smile

And now this world is even more teeming with energy. Not only it is more than it supposed to be at this time period, it is even purer and more diverse

The Sovereigns that noticed the Annihilator fought it and in that process the Annihilator become stronger

But not all were fighting the Annihilator in that battle

Jean was grieving and he did not come out from Neverland. As for him, he was trapped in another dimension at that time

Katarina, like always was fighting with Rosulka, her constant enemy.

The two Sovereigns that was fighting the Annihilator was Oreki and Hikigaya.

And one of them had to fight it and the other had to contain the miasmatic poisons that is released from the Annihilator body and aura

Raymond on the other hand, Loki did not know what he was doing at that time but he was probably not on Earth at that time

After all, it is not his reign. So, there is a high chance he is in a different world or a different dimension altogether

As for the poisonous miasma that is released by the Annihilator, it killed millions of people. During and even after

Because it was like a disease.

When the Annihilator was there it killed instantly. When he was no longer there, it acts like an epidemic killing not only humans but also animals

The battle was at first on the hands of the Sovereigns but the Annihilator is the Deharian race greatest creation of destruction

They fought for days.

Hikigaya and Oreki of course did not want to destroy Earth. So, they even exile the Annihilator to different space and time.

At least they attempted to.

The first time was successful.

But only a few hours later, the Annihilator crawled back through time and space and return back to Earth like some predator chasing a prey that they have long determined to be theirs

The Annihilator is not a thinking thing.

It is completely driven by its instinct. It could not be understood like an intelligent being.

But if there is one thing that it has intelligence on, it was the art of destruction.

It knew how to attack and if it failed, it learns from that failure.

But the objective had never changed

It...is created to destroy humanity

To kill and to destroy. That is its most paramount order and anything that tries to stop it from doing that is trying to meddle with its reason for its existence

The World Government then called the Prince

They battled in African continent. Not because it was depopulated or because there is wide place for them to fight

Because the African continent has one of the World Government most powerful restraining magic

This magic was initially intended to be used against a Sovereign but when the World Government themselves has a Sovereign, Raymond told them that the magic could not contain a Sovereign

It however could, theoretically bind a Sovereign for a few minutes at most.

And that was when Azief had just become a Sovereign

In that world, in that timeline, there is only two world powers and the entire world is bipolar and other than the Sovereigns who is free to choose who they support or not, the people of the world did not have what this current world have

Choices, flexibility in allegiance.

When the power of the world is concentrated, there is only a few people that is in joy.

It would be the ruling power.

But that is a nightmare for the common people.

They have to choose side.
