Chapter 2142: The Songs

Energy of the thirteen steps all gathered in his body right now. But there is nothing leaking from him.

He appears like a mortal.

Then he step on the gap and then put another step and his feet landed on the Heaven Steps

He smiles

The moment he set his foot; the steps cracked.

And he laughed.

The energy that is coursing through his body right now is not just immortal energy.

It is all of his energies and laws and rules that he had cultivated since then.

He might be in Disk Formation realm right now, and he seems to be constrained by that realm division but his energy had already surpassed Divine Comprehension realm and even surpassed Essence Creation.

The Heaven Steps cracked.

That is why

And then he started walking. All of it feels natural to him

There is no obstacle, there is no obstruction.

All of the energy that does enter his body enter his body almost silently, and he appears to not be changed at all.

Only he knows how much energy he is now taking in.

The more he walks the steps the larger and wider the steps became and each steps of the stairs are separated by a thousand miles and it increase with each steps Azief taken.

But this kind of distance is nothing to him. And now, space and time did not have such powerful effect on him if he wishes it.

And as he walks the space between the steps, he smiles.

Each step seems to be separated by countless light year

What is one light year when converted into mile.

If one truly is going math nerd on it, one light is around 5.88 trillion miles give or take.

That is one light year.

But the light years that separated one step from the other is millions and even trillions of light years away

No mortal beings could traverse this distance in a short time.

Even if you use your spaceship unless your spaceship has some kind of method of cutting through space and time, you are out of luck if you want to travel to the other step

If anyone is looking at the step right now, they could not even see where the next step is and they might eb stick ion only one step.

Because even when you walk on a stairway, there is no point for the step to be so far away from each other that one could not reach it.

but in Azief eyes, even though the distance between each step is light years away, in his eyes, it was just a step away.

Not anyone could walk this step and those who could walk this step all have the power to see through the step in a way any other beings would not be able to see

trillion of miles separated from the first step, to the second step.

But Azief only smiles

"What is a few thousand light years? What is a couple more?" he laughed loudly and his voice seems to echoes like a vibration that echoes not onto vacuum space but to the wall of something solid

The fact is even more stranger than fiction

The sound bounce of...of the wall of reality itself.

In vacuum, sound does not travel

Sound is like a wave.

If one think of sound, one should think of it like some kind of a physical wave that move by making particles bump into each other and sound requires matter.

it requires a medium to pass its energy along and space, outer space has almost no matter or air, there is nothing for the sound waves to shake, making space completely silent to human ears

Mortal beings that do not have magic for example would use radio waves to communicate with each other

People could not hear the explosion of the stars. Big events like a star going supernova and crashing meteorites does not make audible sound

And of course, you could still hear people if you are inside a spaceship suit or inside a craft or a ship. As long as there is matter to bounce the sound wave, there is sound.

As for why radio waves work, it is because radio waves are a type of light, an electromagnetic radiation that can travel through an empty vacuum without needing any particles

Then there are other methods.

Space telescope for example do not record audio, they collect digital data, such as light wavelength, x rays and infrared radiation

And to make this data audible....many scientist uses a process called data sonification.

It is a direct mathematical translation, almost like turning sheet music into played notes using methods like visual parameter mapping or True Audification

Visual Parameter mapping is the method of assigning specific musical attributes to the visual features of a space image.

The brighter a star or a gas clouds is the louder the sound become. In sonification, data might be mapped to a harsh synth or piano while visible light sounds like smooth strings.

But for him, his voice itself bounce don the wall of reality

He could hear it and some beings could hear it but mortals probably have to employ some kind of method to hear what he is saying.

And there is even a large chance if any mortal civilization hear him or knows there is such a being that is standing on such a peak, speaking and they do try to divine what he is saying...they might even misunderstand him

Azief mutters to himself but his words echoes to myriad of universes.

But when it reaches this world, those who could hear it could not bear to hear the words.

Those powerful beings in those worlds, heard a divine sound and they try to spy on it, and to hear it

Those who try to spy on it, have their eyes blinded by light. To these powerful beings, even if they lost their eyes, they could easily regenerate back their eyes.

But even after they regenerated their eyes, they no longer dare to look at that being that uttered the noise

Because regardless of whether they could regenerate their eyes or not, the moment their eyes look at that being, they felt their entire soul at the verge of leaving them

Death....has never felt so close to this beings. As for those who tried to listen directly, their ears bleeds and they could not hear anything.

And just like those who tries to see, even when they recover back and regenerate back their eardrums, they dare not listen again.

They hear a melody.

Some hear the melody that is gentle and smooth. Some who heard it felt like they hear thunderous roar just beside their ear, shaking their entire soul

Azief probably did not know how many living beings that is on heaven and earth all over the galaxies that spans trillions of light years away are in fear, in awe, in respect to the voice they hear echoing above their own heavens

He did not know all of this.

Instead, his eyes from the beginning was focused on those steps

He looks at those steps and then he crack his neck a bit and stretch a bit

And then he takes a step forward into the empty air and then as he take that step, he himself become larger and larger that these distance, these space and time is nothing to him

And now, he is like some kind of a titanic being stepping on a humongous steps of a large stairway that seems to stretch out from one mega cluster of galaxies to another

But even as he is becoming such a titanic beings, his aura did not rise and the asteroid belt did not explode, the space and time did not distort and nothing seem to be moved at all

Azief instead becoming one with the universe, as natural as a wind blows in the plains, and as natural as a sun rising and setting

Instead of becoming more and more incomprehensible, he become even more ordinary.

Each step he took created a note of sound.

And this note of sound mix with other notes in the universe, in the world, in the Omniverse at large and created some kind of melody mixed with other vibrations of souls all over the Omniverse, it created a song of its own.

Right now, there is not many powerful beings that is watching. This is not because they don’t want to. But because they could not see it.

The few beings that could watch this did not watch it.

And those who wanted to watch him could not watch him

It is not like before, this time, it is not only the powerful shield of the Supremacy Stairway that is shielding him from those gazes. It is also the fact that the tribulation cosmic clouds and the very nature of his current tribulation made it a lot impossible for any beings in the Omniverse to see him clearly.

The current tribulation of Azief is different than any other Sovereign since the creation of time. Because no one is crazy enough to attempt to revive a taboo like what Azief is doing right now

Hence, the kind of tribulation that is descending toward him have no precedent

A decade ago when Azief was on this same step, Azul senses the disturbance and he heard the ringing of the bells and the hymns of the song and he watches intently

Azief did not know Azul is watching.

And he was not the only one who is watching. At that time, there is someone else
