Luis grabbed her neck and kissed her hard on the lips.

The dishes were all fairly standard, elegant banquet fare. Everyone chatted and laughed, acting as if nothing were amiss.

After a while, Teacher Blanche raised her glass and began making her rounds to toast each table. When she reached their table, her face was already flushed with a tipsy glow.

Seeing everyone was either drinking soup or juice, she immediately poured wine for each person and said with a laugh, "I can only afford Rémy Martin, so please don't be too critical. You all absolutely have to have a drink with me today."

"Chances are I'll never get married in this lifetime. It's a rare opportunity for me to host a banquet for you all, so please, do me this honor."

"If anyone drove, just call a designated driver later, and I'll cover the full cost."

Everyone laughed at her joking remark. Teacher Blanche's good relationships were evident, so everyone readily accepted the wine, toasted her, and offered their congratulations.

The banquet proceeded quite properly, with everyone maintaining clear boundaries, so thankfully, no major incidents occurred.

The potential powder keg was completely defused by Luis's rebellious spirit. Basking in the adoring, moon-like attention of the three campus beauties was a moment any man would consider a personal highlight.

After the banquet, Teacher Blanche and her daughter saw the guests off before heading home.
