Chapter 6342: Song Luoyi’s Whereabouts
“My grandmother?”
Chu Feng already knew that his mother had entered the Ninth Galaxy. While Su Rou and Su Mei were being held hostage by the Moon Immortal, the latter was doing it because she had no other choice.
As for the Chu Heavenly Clansmen and his friends from the Ancestral Lower Galaxy who had disappeared, he had a gut feeling that they were safe.
His grandmother was the only one left in the world of cultivation whom he was worried about. Even though he knew that his grandmother was powerful, her mental state was worrying.
“May I talk to you in private?” Tianjian Canhua said.
They left the Fortuitous Bloodline Mountain together and made their way onto a warship.
The warship was humongous, but there were only hundreds of people on its deck. These people were dressed in white, and they carried Heavensword Sacred Palace’s tokens on their waists. Their demeanor and aura relayed their strength.
“Paying respect to Miss Canhua.”
“Paying respect to Elder Jiumeng.”
But they still respectfully greeted Tianjian Canhua and Tianjian Jiumeng.
Tianjian Canhua led them deeper into the warship before eventually stopping in front of a palace’s entrance. She glanced at the people behind Chu Feng.
Chu Feng caught her drift and said, “I trust them.”
Hearing that, Tianjian Canhua opened the palace doors and ushered the group in. She sat down and said, “Your grandmother should still be alive.”
“How do you know?” Chu Feng remained vigilant.
He had been searching for his grandmother, but how would Tianjian Canhua know about this? Unless she had investigated him.
“Tuoba Tianxue and the others had a high opinion of you, so we conducted a background check. Your grandmother, Song Luoyi, was from the Golden Dragon Flame Sect. Her talent made her an eyesore to Jia Lingyi, who went on to obliterate the Golden Dragon Flame Sect.
“However, your grandmother is likely to be alive. The flames that destroyed the Pill Dao Immortal Sect resembled those of the Golden Dragon Flame Sect, just that they were far more potent. Furthermore, we recently found an old woman who wields means that resemble the flames that destroyed the Pill Dao Immortal Sect.”
Chu Feng anxiously asked, “Where is that old woman?”
Instead of answering right away, Tianjian Canhua asked, “You knew that your grandmother is still alive too?”
She took out a portrait and unfurled it. It depicted a disfigured old woman dressed gracefully. She was Chu Feng’s grandmother, Song Luoyi.
“Is she your grandmother?” Tianjian Canhua asked.
Chu Feng spent a moment in thought before nodding. It didn’t matter whether he admitted to it or not; the other party was already convinced she was his grandmother. Thus, he decided to go with it so that he could ask about her whereabouts.
“Where’s my grandmother?” Chu Feng asked.
“She’s in a hidden realm. We happen to be heading there too. Shall we travel together?” Tianjian Canhua suggested.
“All right,” Chu Feng said. He turned to Little Fishy’s parents and grandfather and asked, “Elders, why don’t you return with Yu’er and Brother Shaoyu first?”
Little Fishy interjected, “Big brother, I’ll go with you.”
“Young friend Chu Feng, I’d like to go too if I’m not a burden to you,” Little Fishy’s grandfather said.
“What are you saying, elder? You aren’t a burden. I’d be thankful to have you with me; I’m just worried that I’m imposing on you,” Chu Feng replied.
“You aren’t imposing on us. Our priority at hand is to protect you all, right?” Little Fishy’s grandfather asked.
Little Fishy’s parents nodded in agreement.
Chu Feng understood what they were getting at. While top-notch experts like Eighth Zhao were beyond their means to deal with, they were still Heavenly God level cultivators. If possible, they would still like to offer their aid to Chu Feng.
They were afraid of death, but they were willing to risk their lives to repay their debt to Chu Feng.
Chu Feng didn’t want to turn down their goodwill. Besides, the Divine Deer’s ability could only be used once before it had to be recharged. Ideally, it would still be best to have Heavenly God level cultivators to back him up.
Qin Xuan went up to Chu Feng and said, “Brother Chu Feng, I am grateful for your help at the Fortuitous Bloodline Mountain. I hope you’ll be able to find Elder Song, but I shan’t accompany you for this trip.”
Chu Feng asked, “Brother Qin, what do you intend to do next?”
“I’ll continue searching for the culprit who destroyed the Heavenly Dome Immortal Sect. Otherwise, I’ll enter the Ninth Galaxy and test the waters there,” Qin Xuan replied.
“That’s a good idea. I’m intending to head to the Ninth Galaxy soon, too,” Chu Feng replied.
“You’re intending to head there too, Brother Chu Feng?” Qin Xuan was surprised.
Chu Feng told Qin Xuan about the news he had heard about the Ninth Galaxy.
Qin Xuan’s eyes lit up. He had been afraid of the Ninth Galaxy due to a lack of information; he only wanted to head there because the Heavenly Dome Immortal Sect had been destroyed, and he didn’t have anywhere else to go.
It was only after hearing Chu Feng’s words that he realized that the Ninth Galaxy was filled with fortuitous encounters, where he could further his cultivation.
Chu Feng and the others bade Qin Xuan farewell.
“Farewell, Brother Chu, Brother Xianhai, Brother Wang Qiang, and Miss Yu’er.” Qin Xuan clasped his fist at them one by one before taking his leave.
“Is anyone else leaving?” Tianjian Canhua asked.
“That’s all,” Chu Feng replied.
Tianjian Canhua waved her sleeves.
The warship began to move, accelerating while emanating a bright light. Spirit power shrouded the warship, and it suddenly slipped into a teleportation passageway without going through a teleportation formation.
“What a formidable treasure!” Little Fishy and the others were awed.
They had seen treasures with similar abilities, but not one at the scale of this humongous warship.
Tianjian Canhua assigned a palace for each of Chu Feng’s group to rest in, but Chu Feng picked a palace with multiple rooms to share with the others. Tianjian Canhua hadn’t done anything suspicious yet, but he didn’t know her well enough to trust her. He thought it would be safer to stay together with Xianhai Shaoyu and Little Fishy.
Tianjian Canhua understood his intention, so she respected his decision and didn’t attempt to dissuade others.
In the palace...”
“M-M-Miss Canhua, I have a question to ask. You m-m-mustn’t get angry,” Wang Qiang said.
“Don’t bother asking if you think it’ll anger me,” Tianjian Canhua replied.
“All right. I’ll b-b-be asking the question now. Why are you called C-C-Canhua (Withered Flower) when you’re so beautiful? What an inauspicious name!” Wang Qiang exclaimed.
Boom!
The palace suddenly turned piercingly cold.
Tianjian Jiumeng coldly uttered, “Watch your words.”
But Tianjian Canhua pointed at her eyes and said, “My name came from my mother.”
“Ahhh, I s-s-see.” Wang Qiang widened in realization when he saw the flower petal in Tianjian Canhua’s eyes. “I was b-b-brash.”
“It’s fine. Many people are curious about my name. Personally, I like it,” Tianjian Canhua replied.
“It’s a good name. There’s a nice ring to it,” Little Fishy agreed.
“Miss, can you at least tell us which galaxy we’re heading to if it’s not convenient to reveal the exact location?” Chu Feng asked.
“It’s close to the Ninth Galaxy,” Tianjian Canhua replied.
“The Ninth Galaxy?” Chu Feng was surprised.
“You’ll know once you get there. It’s not a place anyone can enter, so your grandmother is an extraordinary person.” Tianjian Canhua stood up. “It’ll take some time to reach our destination, so rest well and inform our sectmembers if you require anything.”
Tianjian Canhua and Tianjian Jiumeng made their way to another palace.
Tianjian Jiumeng asked, “Canhua, are you sure you want to do this?”
“Mm.” Tianjian Canhua nodded.
Tianjian Jiumeng’s complexion turned grim.
