Chapter 6471: The Seven Realms Sacred Mansion is Behind It

Chu Feng ascended above the city before slipping into his formation realm, where he had thrown the duo from the Netherworld Sect.

“Was the Netherworld Sect behind the disappearance of the Ancestral Martial Spiritist Sect?” Chu Feng asked.

“Yes,” Shi Mo replied.

“Audacious! Shi Mo, try spewing another word of our Netherworld Sect’s secrets, and I’ll devour you whole!” the old man from the Netherworld Sect roared.

Chu Feng sealed the old man’s mouth with a wave of his hand.

“Why did the Netherworld Sect do that?” Chu Feng asked.

“I-I don’t know.” Shi Mo shook his head.

“Do you really not know? Or do you need me to make a move?”

Chu Feng whipped out a peculiar-looking sword that was covered in thorns, resembling a cactus. This was the Punishment Sword, a treasure he had obtained from the Heavensword Sacred Palace. It was laced with poison that greatly amplified the sensitivity of one’s nerves, and the thorns transformed upon entering the body, inflicting unbearable pain.

“Lord Chu Feng, I really don’t know. You should ask him... He knows. He’s a Demon-tier Netherworld General. He must know something!” Shi Mo was unnerved by the sword, and he turned his finger to the old man.

But Chu Feng still plunged the Punishment Sword into Shi Mo’s body.

Shi Mo convulsed in extreme pain. White foam sputtered from his mouth. His eyes rolled upward, and his mouth became crooked. It looked as if he was about to die from sheer pain.

Chu Feng pulled out the Punishment Sword.

“I-I-I really don’t know! I don’t know a thing at all!” Shi Mo replied in a weakened and indignant voice while eyeing the Punishment Sword in extreme fear.

Seeing that Shi Mo really didn’t know a thing at all, Chu Feng unsealed the old man’s mouth.

The old man sneered, “I fought alongside the Lord Netherworld Master back then. You won’t get a single word about the Netherworld Sect’s secrets about me... WUU!!!”

Chu Feng plunged the Punishment Sword into the old man’s body before he could finish his sentence. That immediately shut the old man’s mouth, but a split second later, he released a miserable howl.

“It’s the Seven Realms Sacred Mansion! The Seven Realms Sacred Mansion! Pull it out! Pull this darned thing out of my body!” the old man screamed while wailing in pain.

He couldn’t withstand the Punishment Sword’s torture.

“The Seven Realms Sacred Mansion?” Chu Feng was baffled.

The Netherworld Sect has gotten together with the Seven Realms Sacred Mansion?

Chu Feng pulled out the Punishment Sword and demanded, “Tell me what’s going on.”

The old man revealed that the Seven Realms Sacred Mansion had reached out to the Netherworld Sect for a partnership, but he was not privy to the details of the partnership.

“Where’s the Ancestral Martial Spiritist Sect’s remnant right now?” Chu Feng asked.

“I know where it is. I can lead the way,” the old man replied fearfully, showing none of the confidence he had displayed earlier.

“Mm.” Chu Feng nodded. He turned to Shi Mo and said, “I do not need you anymore.”

Before Shi Mo could utter a word, Chu Feng beheaded him with his sword. He collected Shi Mo’s origin energies and passed them to Eggy and stowed Shi Mo’s treasures in his Cosmos Sack.

The old man was horrified. “Don’t kill me, Lord Chu Feng. I’ll tell you everything you want to know!”

“What’s your name?” Chu Feng asked.

“I am Liu Kuangkuo,” the old man replied.

“I’ll spare you for the time being,” Chu Feng said before he left the formation realm alone. He formed a hand seal and morphed into the old man. “You can lead the way now.”

He could communicate with the old man even when the latter was still trapped inside his formation realm. The old man began giving him the directions to the current location of the Ancestral Martial Spiritist Sect’s remnants.

...

Deep in the Seven Realms Sacred Mansion’s forbidden land, a colossal formation whirred to life.

Standing at the center of the formation was the Seven Realms Sacred Mansion’s Mansion Master, Jie Tianran. Seated around the formation were the Seven Realms Sacred Mansion’s top personnel—the Ling Clan’s Clan Chief and the Saint-tier elders.

But there were six other people aside from these noteworthy figures. They wore black world spiritist cloaks embroidered with the words, ‘Sacred Mansion Shadow Squad’ and their names, namely ‘Immortal Shadow’, ‘Buddha Shadow’, ‘Demon Shadow’, Cultivator Shadow’, ‘Monster Shadow’, ‘Beast Shadow’.

The Sacred Mansion Shadow Corp was a powerful organization within the Seven Realms Sacred Mansion that only comprised of elites, but this organization only obeyed Jie Tianran’s commands. These seven people were the leaders of the Shadow Corp.

Only six of the seven leaders were gathered here because one of them, Ghost Shadow, had died while carrying out a mission in the Ancestral Martial Galaxy.

All the most powerful experts in the Seven Realms Sacred Mansion were gathered here.

A golden lake floated above the formation. It revolved in the sky, glimmering beautifully under the formation’s lights. Contained within the lake was not ordinary water but Immemorial Divine Water, an incomparably valuable resource. It had been specially refined and was bubbling.

Even a single drop of Immemorial Divine Water was priceless, yet there was so much of it here.

“Let’s begin.”

Jie Tianran changed his hand seal.

The Immemorial Divine Water rained on the experts outside the formation. Those struck by the rain immediately buckled under immense pain.

“Pain is inevitable to acquire such power. You’ll succeed with the aid of our Seven Realms Sacred Mansion’s formation, so bear with it.”

The experts quickly formed hand seals to withstand the ordeal. Fortunately, it didn’t take long before they absorbed the vast amount of Immemorial Divine Water.

“Lord Mansion Master!!!”

The Ling Clan’s Clan Chief, the Saint-tier elders, and the six leaders of the Sacred Mansion Shadow Squad sensed that they had made incredible progress in their spirit power and were overjoyed. They were now rank five Heavenly Dragon World Spiritists.

Even reaching Heavenly Dragon World Spiritist was beyond them in the past, but Jie Tianran helped them overcome their bottleneck and soar far beyond that.

Jie Tianran had depleted many treasures to help them raise their cultivation, expending even the precious Immemorial Divine Water on them. Even so, they were still astonished. Based on what they knew, Jie Tianran himself was also at rank five Heavenly Dragon.

Never in their life had they imagined they would reach the same level as their mansion master. Naturally, they were delighted.

“There’s one thing I need to tell you. Even though I have devoted many invaluable treasures to this formation, there is bound to be a price to pay for power obtained through external means,” Jie Tianran said.
