Chu Feng’s eyes widened. He noticed that his formation was suddenly seeping into the sacred item faster than before. The curse energy in his formation had become stronger.

Chu Feng knew that Li Wu must have made a move.
Meanwhile, there was a concealed warship parked not too far away from the Undying Starfield. Sitting with crossed legs on the ship were Li Wu and Bai Yunqing. The former was channeling her energy, whereas the latter was supporting her with his formation.
Their efforts greatly reinforced the formation over on Chu Feng’s side, though it also suffused the warship with curse energy as well.
Wen Xue stood by the corner. She reached out and grabbed a sliver of curse energy. As Li Wu was consciously controlling the curse energy, it didn’t hurt Wen Xue.
“What formidable curse energy.” Wen Xue examined the curse energy before turning her eyes back to Li Wu. “I wonder what kind of entity you are to wield such tremendous power.”
A guess popped into her head, and the corners of her lips curled into a bizarre smile. Viciousness, vileness, and greed, traits that were at odds with her innocent face, surfaced in her eyes.
But Bai Yunqing and Li Wu were too focused on helping Chu Feng reinforce the formation that they didn’t notice it.

“My confidence is founded on concrete grounds, and I have you here with me. I won’t let Chu Feng get away this time,” Jie Tianran replied.
“Indeed. Now that your grandson knows about my existence, I’ll be humiliated as well if he outdoes you. I’ll lend you my strength,” the old entity said.
A surge of energy flowed into Jie Tianran’s body, and his formation was enhanced without activating the formation paper.
However, Jie Tianran said, “Leave this formation to me. If you want to make a move... why don’t you construct a sealing formation just in case?”
“Hasn’t the Netherworld Sect already constructed a tight net?” the old entity asked.
