Chapter 6543: The Fourth Divine Skill

“This must be heaven’s will. Chu Feng, I shall offer your life to reinforce my standing in the Netherworld Sect!” Zhao Feng’s blood rushed as he thought about that.

Not only did he move faster, but he felt like his fighting prowess had increased a little. But now that he had rejoined the main group, he had to follow commands no matter how much he wanted to get that merit for himself.

To make things worse, he couldn’t even see Chu Feng’s silhouette. They were growing increasingly further away from Chu Feng.

Chu Feng was currently carrying Feng Ling toward the Flowersea Ordinary Realm.

“Who... are... you?” Feng Ling feebly asked. The person carrying her looked like Baili Zilin, but she knew that he couldn’t have been him.

Chu Feng knew that Jie Tianran was tracking him through the observation formation, so he reverted to his original appearance and asked with a smile, “Why don’t you take a look?”

“Chu Feng? What are you doing here?” Feng Ling’s lifeless eyes regained their gleam.

“It’s a coincidence. We must have been fated.” Chu Feng told Feng Ling everything that had transpired.

Through their conversation, he learned that the person he met earlier was Zhao Feng, and he also learned about Zhao Feng and Baili Xukong’s relationship.

“You’re incredible, Chu Feng. The Netherworld Sect has so many old monsters, and they are working with that damned grandfather of yours, but you found a way to suppress all of them. You are truly...”

Feng Ling was excited to hear Chu Feng’s story, but halfway through her words, she suddenly fell asleep without any warning.

Chu Feng sighed.

“Chu Feng, this lass is in terrible condition,” Eggy said.

Feng Ling’s earlier excitement was just a burst of energy; that was why she abruptly fell asleep after depleting her remaining strength. At this rate, she would be in grave danger.

“That Zhao Feng employed a vicious method. He siphoned away not just Feng Ling’s bloodline but her soul and origin energies as well,” Chu Feng replied.

“Does that mean that the only way to save Feng Ling is to take Zhao Feng’s life?” Eggy asked.

“That’s right.” Chu Feng nodded.

“Chu Feng, what’s the current situation with your suppression formation? Are you able to exclude me from the suppression formation?” Eggy asked.

“I should have been able to, but Jie Tianran’s interference has hindered me from making finer adjustments to the formation. As it is, I can’t exclude you from the formation.”

“It’s fine. I can just raise my cultivation to rank one Heavenly God.”

“Eggy, I don’t want you to make a move unless absolutely required. I might be unable to cure Feng Ling, but I can at least stabilize her condition. You shouldn’t forget our agenda here. Elder Great Monster Slayer Emperor might have some surprise for us,” Chu Feng replied.

He knew that Eggy possessed the means to kill Zhao Feng, but wielding power beyond one’s ability was bound to inflict immense damage to one’s body. She might even have to pay with her life.

He was the one who had decided to save Feng Ling; he didn’t want Eggy to bear the risks for his actions.

“It’ll be best if the Great Monster Slayer Emperor has left a sliver of his soul behind. He’d be able to cleave through all those small fry with a single slash,” Eggy said.

“That’d be for the best,” Chu Feng agreed with a chuckle.

“Chu Feng, your grasp of Divine Flitting has reached a higher level,” the Divine Deer said.

Chu Feng was able to shake off the rank one Heavenly Gods without utilizing the full prowess of Divine Flitting.

“Elder, isn’t it normal for me to make progress in Divine Flitting after using it so many times? How was my utilization of Divine Evasion earlier?”

“Do you want to hear the truth?”

“Of course. Please generously share your guidance with me if I’m lacking in any way.”

“I knew you won’t have trouble using Divine Evasion given your talent, but you still surprised me when you used it. It shouldn’t have been possible for a True God to maintain Divine Evasion for so long, but you pulled it off. And if I’m not mistaken, this is your first time using Divine Evasion, right?” the Divine Deer asked.

“Yes, it’s my first time using it,” Chu Feng replied.

“Were you already confident about maintaining it for a longer time before using it?”

“I can evade attacks from rank three Heavenly God if I channel Divine Evasion’s power to its maximum, but I’d only be able to maintain it for an instant. So, I lowered its prowess to lengthen the duration.”

“I never taught you that method. Did you figure it out yourself?’

“Yes, I did.”

The Divine Deer was quiet for a few seconds before continuing, “Do you know why I have never taught you such a method of utilizing Divine Evasion?”

“Why?”

“I didn’t know Divine Evasion could be used in such a way. Or rather, Divine Evasion was not intended to be used like that. A slightest lapse in adjustment, and you might risk Divine Evasion not taking effect.”

“I’ll try to avoid using Divine Evasion in that manner.”

“What nonsense are you spouting? You have already pulled it off, and I reckon you are the only one who could have pulled it off.”

“Are you praising me now, elder?”

“Yes, I am praising you. Haa! Sometimes, I am really tempted to crack open your head to see what’s inside. It’s a good thing I didn’t choose the wrong person.”

“It’s my honor to be chosen by you, elder. I’ll do my best not to disappoint you. Elder, now that I have grasped Divine Concealment, Divine Flitting, and Divine Evasion, when are you going to impart the fourth skill to me?”

“What fourth skill?” The Divine Deer sounded confused.

“Elder, you...” Chu Feng was rendered speechless.

The Divine Deer had told him that if he mastered Divine Concealment, Divine Flitting, and Divine Evasion, he would be able to learn a fourth skill. He had asked what the fourth skill was, but the Divine Deer refused to tell him.

“Chu Feng, there is a fourth skill, and it is also my ultimate move. Intelligence is of utmost importance to grasp it, but there is something more important than that. Do you know what it is?”

“Cultivation,” Chu Feng replied.

“That’s right,” the Divine Deer affirmed his answer.

“How strong do I have to be to learn the fourth skill?”

“I’ll tell you when the time comes.”

While Chu Feng was chatting with the Divine Deer, Jie Tianran and the others were still in the formation realm, watching the observation formation.

Baili Xukong’s complexion turned severe.

Shortly after Chu Feng left the spatial realm with Feng Ling, his son, Baili Zilin, walked out with a gaping hole in his chest.

Jie Tianran quickly dispatched world spiritists to treat Baili Zilin, but Baili Xukong remained infuriated. He felt humiliated through and through today.

“Mansion Master, are you certain that Chu Feng won’t be able to escape from the Undying Starfield?” Baili Xukong asked.

They could at least remedy the situation if they captured Chu Feng, but they would have to swallow their grievances if Chu Feng escaped. This would be the greatest humiliation the Netherworld Sect had suffered to date.
