Chapter 6041, Capillaries

Chapter 6041, Capillaries

Author: Silavin

Yang Ji could not help but have his eyelid twitch. The small fry this puny thing was referring to was none other than a Royal Lord! A Royal Lord who was almost three times his size, and probably a million times her size.

Yet, this little thing had the gull to show such an attitude!?

However, what surprised him was how the Royal Lord showed acceptance at this treatment, without a word or expression of complaint. He just gave a nod, and accepted what Yang Ji had said earlier, that his Sister need not go through the same experience he did.

Seeing how things have already progressed, and they tacitly agreed on this same point, Yang Ji just straight-forwardly asked, “Does this mark the end of our training?”

Mo Na Ye gave a slow nod. Realistically, there was nothing else for them to train for at this point. Other than increasing their own cultivation, these two children could not get any more resistant to Black Ink Strength. No, rather than call it ‘resistant’, it was more accurate to call it ‘ravenous’.

In fact, trying to increase their cultivation here would be ill-advised. The World Principles here were vastly different from the outside world. There was naturally World Energy here, but not the same World Energy as the one in the outside world. For Humans, this place would seem like an empty void. However, that was far from the truth. IIt was just  that they could not perceive these other forces at play, which made this whole space seem like an empty void.

In short, this truly marked the end of their training. There was nothing else he could do for them.

With narrowed eyes, and a deep understanding of what they needed to do next, Mo Na Ye said. “Do give me a moment. I just need to change and we will head off to the next area for the actual task.”

Mo Na Ye quickly went back in and changed. When he came out, he was wearing the same suit he wore when he met them.

When he came out, his eyes seemed to have also changed. Gone was the relaxed and more open expression he had. Now, he had eyes of determination, with a singular goal in sight.

The twins just waited for him, waited until he declared with a heavier tone, “I’m done. Now, we are off to the battlefield.”

“Huh? Battlefield?” Yang Xu exclaimed, as her eyes narrowed.

Yang Ji was the same. Though he expected there to be an eventual battle, he did not consider there to be a war ongoing.

“Yes. I’ll explain while we move. The trip there will take a long while.” Mo Na Ye said as he took out and then kept his Small Black Ink Nest.

He led the twins to the same platform they had used before, and once they got on, it shot through the sky.

Yang Ji and Yang Xu could feel the ground underneath them push them up, to the point it was hard to stand; and after a few seconds, they felt their feets disconnect from the ground, only to return back thanks to Mo Na Ye’s support.

As for the little worm, she did not return to Yang Ji’s Dantian and just loitered about outside in his clothes. Would be troublesome to go in and out of the Dantian, after all.

This time, this piece of land was no longer connected to the ground. It was launched directly into the sky, precisely into a river made of Black Ink Strength.

*Spash*

When the twins could finally feel solid ground beneath their feet, the land underneath them had finally landed on top of a river, creating a huge splash.

Yang Ji noticed that the ‘water’ was less viscous than the one they dipped their bodies into, and it flowed much faster thanks to that.

In fact, it was not an exaggeration to say that this river was a rapid. In seconds, they had crossed more than ten kilometres due to the force. They were only able to stay on thanks to their powerful, cultivated Physique.

Mo Na Ye, seeing how the twins did not need his support, let go. He raised his arm and introduced. “Welcome to the Holy One’s Capillaries. Technically, only Feudal Lords and above are allowed to ride on these Capillaries, since those weaker might not be able to hold on. I initially thought I would have to support you two for the whole trip, but I have certainly underestimated you two.”

Mo Na Ye continued, “The Capillaries are connected to all regions under the Holy One. They go forward in one direction, and back in another connecting path. Right now. The site we are headed to is one of the fronts. But not to worry. For all your activities there, I’ve been tasked to protect you two.”

“Woah!” Yang Ji and Yang Xu both exclaimed, having fun with the ride. Though they could use Space Principles in the outside world, riding at such a high speed was an experience all on its own.

Even when enjoying the ride, the two of them still paid a lot of attention to what Mo Na Ye had said. So, Yang Ji was the first to ask, “In that case, what are we supposed to do there?”

Mo Na Ye nodded his head, as that was the next topic he was going to talk about. “Both of you will be using as much Purifying Light as you can over there. The only main thing to look out for is our allies. I do note wish to have any of our people fall due to our own allies.”

Yang Xu tilted her head and asked. “Wait a moment. If the enemies are going to be Black Ink Clansmen, how are we even going to tell them apart?”

Mo Na Ye shook his head and directly said. “No need to worry about that. You will definitely know it once you reach the place. It is really just that easy to tell. ”

“Erm, okay.” Yang Xu tilted her head, wishing for more answers. But, Mo Na Ye just added how personally seeing it for himself was more than any words in the world.

Mo Na Ye also added, “Also, try not to damage anything that is within our territory.”

Yang Ji was the one to respond this time. He just questioned, “How are we supposed to tell?”

Mo Na Ye gave back the same answer again, “You will know.”

“…” The twins wanted to ask for more details, but since Mo Na Ye had said as much, they just left their curiosity to unravel at the actual place itself.

As for the little worm, she had already started sleeping in Yang Ji’s inner chest pocket. To her, these minor matters were not things she needed to concern herself with.
