Chapter 3057. Barren, and Light

Chapter 3057: 3057. Barren, and Light

"I might try to bring that light mana I gathered and release it in the mountains near where the demon capital used to be. It’s still there but most demons left there, it is primarily a place for research because of the library in the basement."

Walker knew that the library there was still being copied and discovered. The unique construction and shifting nature made it hard to copy and document everything. Yet it was becoming an extremely beneficial training and challenging place for archival adventurers.

The adventurers that had expanded in to archiving and exploration were not few in numbers. It seemed that the spark of exploration in that way had become something even greater than some of the explorers of new continents.

Many people were appearing to have a desire to document the knowledge of the past and the present so that they could have a hand in guiding the future. Some of them were just interested in unraveling the mysteries of the past though.

This subset of archivists were not content with researching the books and ruins recordings or remnants. They wished to be in the thick of it discovering more. Risking themselves to ensure that they found the next puzzle pieces that could uncover yet another miraculous advancement or understanding of their people or the world itself.

They had most often begun deeming themselves the truthseeker archivists or rogue archivists. The meaning simply behind that being those with classes that allowed them to avoid dangers, uncover lost or missing knowledge, and being able to fight well enough to bring it back to the public.

Therefore, this change in the usage of the previous demon capital city made things much easier for the demons who left and also for the focus on these new groups. It was a good start for them.

"Why would you like the mountains to be bathed in this light mana? You said it was calm so it should not cause issues, but I do not believe it will have no effect." Walker had brought one of his golem bodies to Ris because he knew that she would be the best person to handle this form of event. Especially since she was not busy with other matters amongst the dragons.

He also understood that she would bring a few dragons of her own that could take advantage of these new calm light mana elements being added to the area.

"You and your dragons can help revive this area. The monstrous demons who enslaved their own people killed almost all the monsters and potential natural life in that area. They are barren and need to be brought back to the way things should be." Walker paused letting this sink in while also looking at a few of the light affinity dragonkin, elves, and demi-humans who ahd taken to accompanying Rise when she would walk in her dragonkin form.

As much as she did not wish to admit it, she had fostered a wonderful unity with those who could use light mana and believed in the brilliance of purifying light magic. Rise was still arrogant but had accepted people from other races more and more as she realized how much her ideals and their values aligned.

It was even more telling to see the light elemental spirits and some light affinity spirit race members hanging about as well. But Walker wouldn’t mention that out loud since he knew Rise would be stubborn and not accept such things.

"The area needs a little more help catching up to the changes that the world is going through and the mountains did expand when the world regained the mana and flow it had been missing. So having you there will also help mediate that change in case the mana released and the fusion of space mana becomes too brutal. There is a chance that if the mana becomes chaotic it could send a wave toward the nearby demon city."

This was also the fall back that Walker wanted just in case.

Besides the fact that the dragons with light affinity would benefit, there was a safety net in this planning.

"Then we will do it now." Rise let a slight bit of light mana leave her body and nearby three elder light dragons approached and fell in line. The attendants with her also fell behind her like this had been some practiced action. "We will trust your teleportation magic." She was so casual with it.

Then again, Walker realized he had not teleported the majority of people he worked with.. Rise might have had some hidden jealousy that she has not experienced the space mana others have been through. She had not even really used the elemental teleportation rune formation since she always flew so high above the clouds working with others.

Sometimes it was easier to just admit curiosity, but the way that rise did it was quite interesting and Walker was glad that the golem body he was using here did not easily show his smirk. If it had been his real body his amusement would have shown a bit too clearly for him to hide.

With a larger amount of mana than he had planned, Walker moved them all a few times. The sudden appearance and disappearance of different terrains before they were all standing on the ledge of a mountain covered in Walker’s mana sense made a few of the attendants stagger. This was an understandable reaction since he had used a lot of mana to move them and isolate their own manas to keep them from being harmed in any way.

Whether he had mentioned it or not to anyone, if the space mana wasn’t controlled properly there was a risk of harm to those being moved and the one using the magic. The elemental teleportation formations now used with space mana runes were safer since they had anchor points. Walker was making his own anchors with his own mana, it was less safe.

Luckily, he had the strength to make sure that it was safe no matter the case. All he had to do was focus and gather enough mana to use. That was easily done for him with his current strength.

The area when they arrived, after they had recovered, was much like Walker explained.

The wind around a mountain should be greater, but here it was a small weak breeze. The earth mana felt dry compared to the dense earth mana that was deep in the earth or the caverns where mining was ongoing. Even the light mana felt dim and less amazing compared to the higher sky where Rise always moved but didn’t necessarily spend time absorbing mana.

"Be ready, the light mana will shake things up." Walker stepped in to the air and looked down at the mountain range. He could tell that there were barely any monsters around let alone safe and growing herbs or plants.

This area was hard hit by the cruelty of the demons before they had been defeated and then freed from themselves.

Luckily, growth and recovery was the theme of the world right now. This was something that Walker could remedy while also pushing for another brilliant area that focused on a specific mana.

It could be the reason for new monsters and plants to return to the world or appear within the world. It could be a home for some of the existing races of the world or generally just make a new area for people to explore.

He even debated the potential of naturally forming elemental runes to form or dungeons to appear as well. It was potential and he liked that.

The moment he began to release the seal and let the mental weight off of his golem bodies and main body, every body Walker controlled paused for a brief second. He felt himself move smoother and clearer. It was proof he’d had a weight on him but now was a bit more free.

The mana reacted instantly too. It wasn’t sealed and the space mana naturally part of everything had already begun latching together like it had always been a part of this land. Like the space itself was welcoming a lost piece of itself to better return home in brilliance.

The air hummed as light began to take on rainbow forms and change to adapt. The calm nature did not change, it increased.

Rise and her attendants and dragon elders activated various skills to understand what they were seeing and to absorb light mana. They didn’t feel a pressure to halt that mana, but like they were part of the calmness since their own mana was interacting with a new flow of nature becoming part of a grander form of flow.

Walker himself felt like the world was pushing him forward a little faster too. His hands were being guided to more easily release the mana in to a place that was thirsty for it.
