Chapter 1295: Silver Tongue Showdown [Magic Castle Bonus Chapter]

The Above disciples didn’t speak, they simply watched Anthony and this seller have a silver tongue showdown, all of them enjoying the show.

"So much Negative Karma," Anthony spoke with a sigh and a shake of his head, then he turned his head towards the rest of the Above disciples as he continued, "fellow disciples, this seller has so much Negative Karma, ranging from falling on his path to Immorality, to being impotent, to the point his wife is affected by it, hence falling to a brutal terminal illness. Buying anything from him might affect us too, hence halting our own progress and cultivation, who knows if we might become a Demonic Cultivator after we leave here," he stated, his sky-blue eyes on his fellow disciples as he gave them a smile.

The seller felt like coughing up blood, he knew he had lost this round, after all, nothing was more important to cultivators than their progress, not even their own Families. He could only curse Anthony a billion times in his heart, but unfortunately for him, Anthony was immune to curses, as even the Demon King’s curses were futile, let alone his.

The Above disciples held back their laughter as it nearly slipped through their lips. They knew the man was talking out of his ass, after all, only naive newbie Cultivators and children would fall for these.

The man definitely had a good imagination... perk of the job.

The man smiled as though he had struck the jackpot, "since Brother Chu convinced Brother Anthony to stay and is patronizing me, I will give Brother Chu a discount," he spoke as his eyes measured Chu Feng from head to toe as though calculating how much Chu Feng could cough up, after all, the price of any item depended on the size of the whale buying it.

Chu Feng simply dropped the book and turned as he spoke, "Let’s go, Brothers and Sisters."

With that, everyone turned and began to walk, but before they could take more than two steps, the seller’s voice echoed.

"Wait!!!" His voice echoed through the air.

Everyone turned towards him, the man gave a weak smile and asked, "how much would Brother Chu be willing to buy?"

Another tactic, if Chu bought it for even one Origin Essence Stone, then he had made more than he had ever made in his all his past lives combined.

"Three copper," Chu Feng replied flatly without a change in expression.

The seller’s expression twisted as he knew the jig was up, as he came to finally believe that Chu Feng was just doing this for Positive Karma.

"Five copper," he haggled as he couldn’t just take a step back and agree.

Chu Feng stared at him for a moment, then pointed at a sword randomly and said, "if you add the sword, I will pay five copper."

The seller’s eyes shifted towards the sword Chu Feng was pointing at, he smiled and spoke, "nice doing business with you, Brother Chu."

He immediately packaged the goods and handed them to Chu Feng as Chu Feng paid and they all left. They all laughed at the seller’s slippery smooth tongue, they also laughed at the spar between the man and Anthony.

Anthony’s eyes shifted to Chu Feng, he wasn’t fooled like the others about the Positive Karma talk. Throughout the entire time, Chu Feng’s eyes had been on the manual he bought and the sword too, he had merely faked it the moment he seemed as though he was looking for what to buy.

Of course, Anthony didn’t expose him, this just strengthened his suspicion that Chu Feng had a system or some old soul helping him.

This time, Anthony couldn’t hold back his curiosity as he used Thought Conception on the manual and sword Chu Feng had brought.

Anthony was stunned as even his Thought Conception had failed against the items. His gaze shifted to this peculiar fellow Above disciples. Chu Feng had two rings on his fingers, surely, one contained the old Grandma or Grandpa. Anthony sighed and took off his gaze as he didn’t want whatever soul was in there to grow suspicious, if there was a soul in any of them to begin with.

A smile remained on his lips, after all, there was a difference between reading cliches and watching them unfold right before your very eyes.

And with that, the group continued their tour, as Anthony looked forward to more cliché moments. He couldn’t help but feel that the trip had suddenly become far more interesting, especially with Chu Feng’s suspicious behavior and the mysterious items he had just obtained. Whatever secrets the boy possessed, Anthony decided he would simply wait and watch them reveal themselves naturally.
