MIGHT AS WELL BE OP

Chapter 1356: The First Death

Chapter 1356: The First Death

The moment Anthony was done erasing them, the other Eternal Apexes had already closed the distance. They didn’t hesitate to unleash their Laws and power with devastating impact once more, uncaring for the Territories below.

Various Territories didn’t dare to ask or check what was happening. They could feel the pressure and presence of various Eternal Apexes fighting together, so they all instantly activated various protective mechanisms like Rune Domes, Formation Shields, Aegis Barriers, and the likes.

An Eternal Apex drew a bow and unleashed a single shot that divided into millions in an instant. Anthony simply snapped his fingers once more as he bent space to deflect the attack. But the moment he snapped his fingers, another Eternal Apex reacted, as the man possessed the ability to manipulate probability.

With his ability, he increased the probability of the arrow attack landing to one hundred percent.

As the arrow changed course and continued towards Anthony, Infinity flared, stopping the arrows where they were. Anthony merely glanced at the arrows, then erased them with a thought. His sky-blue eyes snapped towards the man who had manipulated probability.

The man had used his ability, which was just the base form. The man hadn’t used his Law, and if he could use the Law Of Probability, then he could perform even greater, incomprehensible things.

One of the Ancient Behemoths closed the distance in a blur, its maw opening as it moved to bite off Anthony’s head and swallow him whole. As its jaw was about to snap closed, Anthony’s body turned into a mirage as though it had been an illusion all along, but it wasn’t. His speed was merely that fast.

He appeared before the Ancient Behemoth’s large stomach, his fist shooting forward like a gatling gun. With ruinous power, fist met scale-covered stomach. With a booming force, the Ancient Behemoth shot backwards like a missile, its body slamming from one Territory Shield and Barrier to another like a basketball. Its enormous body crossed light-years as it tore buildings and streets apart.

The shields of various Territories that weren’t strong enough collapsed in totality.

Before Anthony could even recalibrate, another Eternal Apex appeared. He opened his mouth, and from his throat, a pitch-black poisonous cloud instantly spread out. Anthony didn’t bother dodging or moving; he instantly caught the Eternal Apex by the throat, shocking the man, who had thought that the effect of his poison would be instantaneous.

As he caught the man by the throat, Anthony didn’t hesitate to pulse poison through his own blood and into the man’s body through his fingertips and into the man’s skin pores. The man’s body instantly turned pale blue as Anthony’s Poison Body ability was extremely deadly, and the poison had been tailored for the man alone.

Anthony tossed him aside to die without a glance, but before the man could die with anger in his heart, the man with the probability ability appeared. He tapped into his Law this time around, the Law Of Probability humming around him as he decreased the probability of Anthony’s poison killing the man to zero percent.

He then fed the man a random antidote pill, then increased the probability of it working against Anthony’s poison to one hundred percent.

Anthony didn’t have the time to focus on these two people, as he was already dealing with another attack. Another Eternal Apex was using hundreds of Light Whips that blurred in a direction with the speed of Light.

Every time it seemed as though the Light Whip was about to connect, Anthony would vanish in a blur, his figure appearing in another direction, and the moment he appeared, the Light Whip would already be there.

As Anthony was about to dodge again, another Eternal Apex tapped into the Law Of Space, freezing Anthony’s motion for a fraction of a millisecond, and that was all the time needed for the attack to connect.

But Anthony seemed to have anticipated this, as the next moment, his body vanished, and in his place, the Probability Eternal Apex appeared. He had swapped places with even less time required for the Light Whip attack to land.

As the Probability Eternal Apex appeared in his place, his Law Of Probability activated in less than an instant as he increased the probability of him receiving an injury to zero. The attack connected against his chest, his body shooting backwards like a rocket as he crossed light-years with maddening force. His back slammed against the barrier that separated the Sathor Grand Region from another Grand Region.

He instantly coughed up blood from the injuries he had gotten from slamming into the ground, against various buildings, and finally against the barrier. He would have also reduced the probability of this injury happening to zero, but he didn’t have enough time. He only had time to deal with one thing, and he chose the Light Whip.

Anthony appeared before the Eternal Apex who practiced the Law Of Poison. Obviously, this guy wasn’t exactly the combat type. Anthony raised a hand and slammed it against the man’s chest, a more potent poison pouring into the man’s body before he could even react.

The man died with fear in his eyes, as he had never seen or witnessed this type of method. He had only met Anthony for the first time; he couldn’t understand how all these poisons were adapted to his own specific genetic markers.

But alas, it was his destiny to die without knowing.

And with that, the first Eternal Apex died.

As Anthony killed the man, an Ancient Behemoth closed the distance, its tail sweeping downward with enough force to tear a planet apart like it was nothing.

Anthony’s eyes snapped towards the incoming attack. He simply stood up instantly, his forearm rising as he raised it over his head. With a battering force, the enormous tail slammed into his forearm, the force travelling through his body and into the ground as the earth beneath his feet shattered, tearing open a sinkhole into the earth.

The sound of the air tearing echoed from the side as an attack closed in. Anthony didn’t look at it; he didn’t bother. His hand simply caught the Ancient Behemoth’s tail. He rotated as he turned and threw the Behemoth in the direction of the attack.

The Behemoth roared as it spread its wings to catch itself, but it was useless. The attack slammed into the Ancient Behemoth, tearing through its scales. It roared in pain, but Anthony didn’t care. He shot forward like a bullet as he moved to end the Behemoth.

But the Eternal Apexes weren’t going to allow that to happen. Another Eternal Apex appeared above Anthony, her Law Of Acceleration coming to life as she immediately reduced Anthony’s acceleration to zero while simultaneously increasing her own.

She didn’t just manipulate Acceleration; she attacked in tandem as she thrust her spear towards Anthony’s neck, moving to end him where he stood. Anthony smirked, Thought Conception activating as he boosted his own speed with a thought, breaking the restraints of the Law Of Acceleration.

He accelerated instantly, his hand moving as he drew his katana in one motion, and with a shing sound, he decapitated the woman with the sickening ease of someone who couldn’t be caught off guard.
