Chapter 1011: Kasumi’s Blossoming Joy
As we stepped into the genkan (entryway), Kasumi immediately slipped out of her zori (sandals) and turned to ensure we did the same.
A pair of new, pristine guest slippers was already placed neatly by the door—a sign of respect and preparation for a visitor of importance.
"Please, make yourselves comfortable," Kasumi said, leading us into the main living area. The room was spacious, adorned with tatami mats, a low wooden table (chabudai), and a tokonoma alcove displaying a delicate scroll painting and a single, perfect white chrysanthemum—a symbol of longevity and joy.
Kasumi clapped her hands twice, a subtle signal. Within moments, the maid appeared with a tray bearing steaming cups of matcha, wagashi sweets, and a small ceramic pitcher of cold barley tea.
"Jack-sama," Kasumi said, pouring a cup of matcha for me with practiced elegance, "you have done more for my family than I could ever repay. But please, allow me to show my gratitude in the way I know how—by welcoming you as an honored guest."
She placed the cup before me, bowing slightly. "This is the first tea I’ve prepared since my daughters left. It feels... right, to share it with you now."
I accepted the cup with both hands, a gesture of respect. "Thank you, Kasumi-sama. Your kindness means more than I can say."
Kasumi smiled gently, her eyes warm and glistening with fresh tears of joy. "You are family now, Jack. There is no need for such formality between us."
She glanced at Haruna and Yuko, who were still wiping their tears, their faces softer now, the heavy weight of years of separation slowly lifting from their shoulders. "We have so much to talk about... so much pain to heal. But for now, let us simply be together. No more distance. No more regrets. Just... us."
Haruna reached for my hand under the low table, squeezing it tightly, her fingers still trembling with emotion. Yuko, still sniffling softly, gave me a small, grateful smile, her eyes red but shining with relief.
Kasumi sat with perfect poise, hands resting gracefully on her lap, the beautiful lavender kimono draped elegantly over her voluptuous body. The silk clung lovingly to her massive breasts and wide hips, the obi sash accentuating her mature, womanly curves.
Haruna wiped her eyes one last time and asked softly, her voice still thick with tears, "Oka-san... how have you been? Really? Tell me the truth. Have you been eating well? Are you sleeping? I know you always pretend everything is fine..."
Before Kasumi could answer, a maid who looked at the head of the maids answered on behalf of Kasumi.
She bowed politely and said with a warm, gentle smile, "Madam has been so worried about both of you every single day. This is the first time in years I’ve seen her smile like this. She talks about you constantly — Haruna’s laugh, Yuko’s quiet strength. She even keeps your old photos in her room."
Haruna looked at her mother with teary eyes, her voice cracking. "Oka-san... I am sorry. From now on, I will live with you. I will never be apart from you again. I promise. No more running away. No more hiding."
Kasumi’s lips curved into a gentle, teasing smile, though her eyes were still wet. "Then... did you forget about your boyfriend? What will Jack do if you suddenly decide to stay here forever and never leave my side?"
Haruna knew me well — she knew I didn’t care much about running the company myself, as everything was handled perfectly by Julie and the others. She scoffed playfully, puffing her cheeks. "He will also stay with us, of course. Aunt Julie will take care of his company. He is free anyway. He doesn’t need to go anywhere."
Yuko, who had been quietly listening, suddenly spoke up in a soft but firm voice. "Haruna... how can you talk about Jack like that? He has done so much for us. He brought us here. He supported me even when I was scared. You shouldn’t speak as if he has no say."
Kasumi looked at Yuko with a hint of surprise in her eyes, but she didn’t say anything. Yuko didn’t notice her mother’s gaze.
I used telepathy and clearly heard Kasumi’s thoughts:
[Yuko is speaking up for Jack... Doesn’t she hate all men after what happened? After that horrible incident with her classmate... she swore she would never trust any man again. But now... she’s defending him. This is... surprising. My quiet Yuko is protecting someone...]
I understood immediately. It must have been shocking for Kasumi. When Yuko left home years ago, she had carried deep trauma — she had almost been raped and had developed a strong distrust toward men. Seeing Yuko now trying to protect me was something Kasumi never expected.
Haruna pouted cutely and replied to Yuko, "I don’t know... I will stay with Oka-san from now on. And Jack will stay with me. He belongs with us."
Haruna suddenly hugged my arm tightly, pressing her massive, soft tits firmly against me and shaking them playfully. "Jack... promise me... we will stay with Oka-san. Please? I don’t want to be away from Mom anymore... and I don’t want to be away from you either."
I sighed fondly and smiled at her. "Okay, okay... we will stay here as long as you want. Unless Kasumi-sama doesn’t want me around someday."
Kasumi chuckled warmly, her voice full of affection and a touch of teasing. "How can that be? Jack, you are family now. I know you have taken such good care of Haruna. Just looking at her face, I can see how happy and loved she is. She glows when she looks at you. Haruna is blessed to have met you."
I shook my head gently, my voice sincere. "No, Kasumi-sama... I am the one who is blessed. Haruna has made me a better person. She brings light into my life every day. I’m grateful to her... and to you for raising such an amazing daughter."
Haruna blushed deeply, hiding her face against my shoulder. "Jack... stop saying such sweet things. You’re making me cry again..."
