Through their abilities, they were able to redefine the definition of amplification within the energy, transforming it into a type of energy that duplicated a certain proportion of abilities according to the realm the energy has achieved.
In the Ambitious One’s own words, they call this new property of the energy ’Echo’, making full use of this newfound property during the creation of this skill.
This skill allows the Origin Essence gathered by the user to passively contain a certain portion of the user’s strength within it, giving the user the option to use the gathered Origin Essence in a number of ways.
At the current realm of Origin Essence, the Origin Essence contained within the user’s body has copied 10% of the user’s current stats, which could be used to activate either [Echo Apparition] or [Echo Amplification].

Although he had already gone through his newly obtained skill a couple of times in his head, Valyr still could not understand what the skill did.
According to the skill, aside from having the ability to amplify whatever it was used on, the Origin Essence in his body now had the ability to duplicate the effects that were infused into it.
In this case, the duplicated effects his Origin Essence took on were his stats. Specifically, a small portion of his stats.

Utilizing the property of ’Echo’, this skill allows the user to tap into the duplicated stats contained within one’s Origin Essence and overlay it on top of one’s current stats.
Current realm of Origin Essence: Illusory
Level of stat amplification: 10% (applies after all previous stat buffs)
Cost: 10 Origin Energy to activate, lasts for 3 minutes. Each subsequent minute costs 5 Origin Energy.
Cooldown: None
[Note: It is recommended not to use this skill until one’s Origin Essence runs out. If done, a severe backlash might occur.]

By the time he was done reading through both skills, Valyr faintly sucked in a breath of cold air.
"Although its effects are not to the same degree, it’s definitely similar," muttered the young man to himself, his eyes widening in realization as he decided to go over them one more time.
"...It really is similar."
Confirming that his previous thoughts weren’t wrong, the young man went silent for a bit as he spent some time sorting out his thoughts.
However, that did not diminish the excitement he felt after learning what the two skills could do.
After all, even though it did not like seem it at first, both [Echo Apparition] and [Echo Amplification] were practically weaker versions of [Soul Split] and [Soul Unification].
Of course, there were still differences between the two, such as how [Echo Apparition] had a shorter duration than [Soul Split], or how [Echo Amplification] could not go beyond 100% amplification like [Soul Unification].
But unlike [Soul Split] and [Soul Unification], there was one thing that made the first two skills better.
And that was the fact that their effects could stack on top of the Soul series of skills.
