Chapter 1199: Obviously Suppressing Rong Yan
Chapter 1199: Chapter 1199: Obviously Suppressing Rong Yan
Fu Ya initially revealed an incredulous expression, which soon turned into wild joy. Unable to hide her excitement, she immediately said, “Thank you, Boss Qin!”
In her emotional agitation, she forgot to control her voice, loud enough for everyone to hear clearly.
Xia Xue watched Fu Ya’s excited dancing and prancing with envious irritation. However, since none of the other company members spoke up, she, a minor character, didn’t dare provoke Fu Ya, the crazy woman.
Even if she continued, she could only bear it.
Qin Jun ignored the excited woman, tossed the handkerchief he had used into the trash can, and scanned the room. “Alright, I’m going to rest now. The meeting is over, out you go!”
The others slowly came to their senses. If not entirely accepting the reality, at least they were not as dumbstruck as before.
After he spoke, most people silently started to leave.
Qin Jun returned to his seat, resting one hand on the conference table, and stopped someone who was about to leave.
“Who is Rong Yan’s agent? Stay back.”
Li Chunyu was almost out the door when she heard this, hesitated, and silently glanced at the person who was originally going to leave with her.
Her face conveyed wordless worry.
Estelle gave her a ‘don’t worry’ look, signaling her to go ahead. After everyone left, she took a deep breath and turned back into the conference room.
In a blink, the room was almost empty, with only Levin and herself remaining.
As a director at KT Entertainment for over a decade, Levin had a keen sense of timing and closed the door once almost everyone had left, then came back.
“Boss Qin,” Estelle greeted the man sitting at the head of the table.
From her observations, she could only tell that the man was capricious and elusive. But beyond that, she couldn’t discern anything, a testament to the depth of his scheming.
“Are you Rong Yan’s agent?” Qin Jun asked without looking up, flipping through the documents at hand.
Estelle cautiously responded, “Yes.”
“Is there something you need, Boss Qin?”
Qin Jun looked up at her, his expression unreadable as he leaned back, resting an arm on the chair and sitting sideways with a slight smile. “Nothing much, I’ve checked your file. You did well previously as the artist coordinator. After you left, the new coordinator hasn’t been performing as well, it’s been a mess. So, I want to move you back to your former position to continue overseeing artist coordination.”
Estelle’s eyes widened in protest, “Boss Qin, I don’t want to go back. I’ve gotten used to my current position, and if I were suddenly moved back, there’s no one suitable to take over my role.
Qin Jun smirked dismissively. “Who said anything about arranging someone to take over your role?”
“What do you mean?”
He casually lifted his chin, “I’ve decided to dissolve Rong Yan’s working team.”
“No one else in the company has a studio system apart from her, and since everyone is part of KT Entertainment, it doesn’t make sense for her to be an exception. So, not just you, everyone from her exclusive team will return to their previous positions. An assistant will suffice for her needs. As for her agent, I’ll have Levin handle it uniformly.”
Estelle wasn’t a fool, and the overt suppression was clear to her. She hadn’t expected the newly appointed Boss Qin to target Rong Yan.
After all, Li Group hadn’t been ousted from KT Entertainment and was still the second largest shareholder. Moreover, Rong Yan was the shareholder’s girlfriend; what was Boss Qin trying to achieve with this move?!
