After playing dozens of rounds, Rong Yan controlled the frequency of winning and losing very well, managing to win against Gu Zekai every time. Gu Zekai was intermittently questioned by her and cooperated with all the answers.

He didn’t actually think Rong Yan was that capable, it’s just that she hadn’t paid much attention to him and he was just picking a quarrel out of annoyance.

Little did he know that his casual remark hit the nail on the head, Rong Yan actually could control the dice as she wished. Caught off-guard by his accidental guess, she was startled and managed a forced smile in denial, "It’s just luck, I haven’t won that many rounds. If I could control the outcomes, I’d win every single round."

"But you win every round just perfectly, that’s some extraordinary luck!" Chen Anchen continued his frustrated rant.

Jiang Zixuan glanced at him and came to Rong Yan’s defense, "Jiajia, ignore him. He just can’t stand losing."

He elbowed Chen Anchen, whose face was grim, and teased, "What’s the matter, big guy? You lost a couple of rounds and you’re chirping like a girl. Jiajia didn’t win that many either. I’ve won more rounds than her; does that mean I’m cheating too?"

Chen Anchen felt even more irked and retorted, "But she hasn’t lost even once."

"Damn, why are you acting so annoying, man! Should she be required to lose to you when playing dice~ You’re being way too demanding!" He waved his hand dismissively and warmly said to Rong Yan, "Don’t mind him, he’s just having a fit. Let’s carry on."

Gu Zekai was asked several personal questions by Rong Yan, each touching on his most dreaded secrets, which disinterested him from flirting and left him emotionally unsettled.

Even though Jiang Zixuan was pulling everyone to continue playing, Gu Zekai was visibly less enthusiastic and chose ’Truth or Dare’ over ’Truth’, disinterested in playing even after losing.

Rong Yan had won too many times, and some started noticing her ’excessive luck’. Although she didn’t lose immediately, after a few more rounds, she ’coincidentally’ lost a round.

And it so happened, by chance or not, that she lost to Chen Anchen.

Jiang Zixuan rarely saw someone with such good luck in the game and had anticipated Rong Yan to dominate the night, so seeing her roll the lowest score disappointed him even more than it did her.
