That person was absolutely useless.

“Did the South Gate change commanders?” Lu Meng could only think to himself. “What about the scouts? Why did they only sound the alarm after the enemy approached?” Lu Meng continued to ask.

“The scouts were ambushed!” The guard replied mournfully.

He took out the letter he kept. “I would have died if I was not so quick witted! You want this Grandfather Gao to deliver a letter for you?
