Chapter 286: Crazy Girl
Chapter 286: Crazy Girl
Luke’s expression darkened upon hearing the woman’s words—it was clearly Carla, now grown.
If it had been anyone else, he would have beaten them without hesitation.
But before this young woman, even if he were reduced to nothing, he still wouldn’t dare.
"I can’t just give up because of that bastard..." he finally said.
"You’re misunderstanding something... That bastard did try to seduce Elena, even tried to seduce me. But this has nothing to do with him. You don’t understand the truth..." Carla shook her head, looking at him as if he were a fool.
"What do you mean?" he asked.
"You don’t need to know. Just remember—Elena isn’t for you, and you should accept that."
"Bullshit..." Luke struggled to control his emotions after hearing her words.
"What? Do you want to force your will on someone else?" Carla sneered.
"Sure, you can do that to some village girl—but Elena? Even your grandfather would beat you if you dared to trouble her."
After saying that, Carla turned around.
By chance, her gaze fell on Richard, who was wearing a hooded robe.
At first, she was about to ignore him, but as if sensing something, her eyes narrowed for a moment before widening.
Richard was stunned—he hadn’t expected Carla to recognize him despite suppressing his aura as much as possible and hiding his face so thoroughly that no one could identify him without removing his hood.
Whoosh!
Richard immediately flew off at full speed in a random direction, though he allowed Carla to lock onto his presence.
He didn’t want to reveal himself in public.
In the end, he stopped inside a private room of a restaurant, currently empty. Entering through an open window, he lowered his hood, revealing his face.
Carla chased after him directly and appeared before him just moments later.
"Brother Richard..." Her eyes lit up the moment she saw him.
"Ehmm..." Richard cleared his throat.
"I suppose it’s been a long time for you, so... long time no see," he said with a light chuckle.
"A very long time... You never appeared or gave any news, so I thought you had been killed—until I heard from my grandfather that you entered a mysterious place to become stronger..." Carla replied.
"That’s more or less what happened..." Richard nodded.
"I heard only one day passed there, while seven years passed in the real world—is that true?" she asked.
"Yes."
"Really? Then... aren’t we almost the same age now?" Carla’s eyes widened.
Richard didn’t know whether to laugh or cry at that.
It was the truth—there was no denying it.
Of course, that was only if he didn’t count his age from Earth, but he hadn’t thought about that in a long time.
Carla’s gaze made him slightly uncomfortable. He cleared his throat lightly and said, "I heard about the World of Death after returning..."
Before he could finish, Carla suddenly grabbed his hand.
"Brother Richard, I... I’ve liked you for a long time."
Richard: "..."
"Carla, wait..." Though her voice trembled with nervousness, Richard could sense an aggressive edge in her aura.
She wasn’t like the other women he knew. Her boldness was on a different level.
Even Grace, who was also bold in expressing her feelings, wasn’t as intense as Carla.
In fact, this had been evident even when she was ten years old—she had already been bold enough to tease him back then.
"Why, Brother Richard? Don’t you like me? Am I not beautiful enough?" she asked.
"No, it’s not like that." Richard found himself at a loss for words.
"You know... I’m already married."
"I don’t have a problem with that. I like you, and I want to belong to you. I don’t care about your relationships with other women—even if you have hundreds. What matters to me is that you and I belong to each other."
Richard: "..."
In his mind, he wondered why this girl was so crazy.
"My grandfather would beat me to death if he knew about this," he said.
"We can keep it a secret—until you’re strong enough to beat my grandfather..."
As she said that, her hands moved from his hand to his neck, wrapping around it as her face drew closer to his.
This was no longer the face of a little girl, but that of a stunningly beautiful woman.
Her cheeks were slightly chubby, with deep dimples.
Her fragrant breath stirred Richard’s thoughts.
His urge to refuse suddenly faded—especially as he felt how soft her hands were around his neck.
But more than that, he saw the look in Carla’s eyes.
They were filled with admiration, as if there was no one else in her world but him.
And beyond that—there was a burning fire within them.
"You’re not rejecting me, right, Brother Richard?" she asked again, full of hope.
"Whatever it is... whatever you want from me, I’ll do it..."
"Carla, you need to calm down."
"No. I’ve thought about this for a long time. I only want you."
She began pushing Richard until he sat down on the sofa, then climbed onto his lap.
The slit of her dress opened wide, exposing her long legs and smooth, slender thighs.
Then, she kissed him first.
Her lips were soft and sweet, and as he felt her pull, Richard felt his strength slipping away.
Unconsciously, he wrapped his arms around her slender waist.
Moments later, one of his hands moved to her thigh.
He returned her kiss, causing the fire in her eyes to intensify.
Her hand moved to unfasten his robe, caressing his chest.
"Brother Richard... are we dating now?" she asked softly.
Richard didn’t know how to respond—but after everything he had done, he could only nod.
The moment he nodded, Carla kissed him again.
Richard’s hands became restless, even moving to touch the soft curves on her chest, making her eyes widen at the sensation.
She responded by gently licking his lips.
"Wait, Carla—not now, and not here." Richard stopped her, still holding onto some rationality.
Even now, there was a great risk of being discovered by the Crimson Grand Ancestor.
If that happened, it would only bring trouble.
Perhaps Carla had lost her rationality due to the longing she had carried for so long, now finally released upon seeing him again.
Her longing had been fulfilled—and now she realized just how reckless her actions had been.
Her face flushed with embarrassment.
She quickly jumped off his lap, straightening her disheveled dress.
Richard didn’t know how to react as he watched her.
So, she was still aware that her actions had been a little too naughty.
