My Talent's Name Is Generator

Chapter 1022: A New Mission

Chapter 1022: A New Mission

I talked with both of them some more before leaving to finish something that was on my mind since I was in training with defender Aurora.

I arrived silently above Abor while the massive blue planet rotated beneath me slowly, endless oceans reflecting the distant starlight while the continents drifted calmly through layers of clouds far below. From this height the planet looked peaceful, almost fragile despite being one of the most protected places inside the entire Blue Spiral now.

The void around me remained completely still while silver-violet soul force drifted naturally around my body in thin streams.

Then I slowly raised my hand.

Runes began forming instantly.

Massive silver-violet runes unfolded across the darkness one after another while layers of spatial laws connected together through enormous circular formations spreading farther and farther around the planet.

The scale of it quickly became absurd as gigantic runic chains extended across entire sections of space, linking together into a formation large enough to completely surround Abor itself.

The void trembled softly.

More runes appeared afterward.

Thousands then millions.

Every single one carried compressed spacetime laws intertwined with soul force and Essence while the formation continued stabilizing around the planet like a gigantic invisible shell hidden beneath reality itself.

I remained completely focused while guiding the formation into place carefully.

This was not a defensive barrier.

It was a failsafe.

If Abor ever came close to destruction, the formation would activate automatically and shift the entire planet through spacetime toward a hidden void region far away from the Blue Spiral. A location only I knew.

The amount of power required for something like this would have been impossible for me before Saint rank.

Now it only took concentration.

The final rune locked into place afterward and the entire formation vanished silently from view as though it had never existed at all.

I exhaled slowly while lowering my hand.

"This should be good enough." I muttered to myself.

Moments later I descended back toward the capital where I had asked Steve and North to come meet me.

Both of them looked toward me the moment I arrived.

"Was that a new shield?" Steve commented immediately.

"No, it’s a failsafe in case something goes wrong."

"There’s something I need both of you to do while I’m gone." I said getting to the point immediately.

Their expressions shifted slightly hearing that tone. I remained silent for a moment while looking out toward the capital city.

Then finally sighed.

"Vivi is planning something."

Steve blinked once.

"And why is that concerning?."

"She’s trying to devour other galaxies," I replied calmly.

The silence afterward lasted several seconds.

North stared at me.

"She’s what?"

I rubbed my forehead lightly.

"She thinks she’s hiding it properly." My eyes narrowed slightly. "Unfortunately for her, the more she tries hiding things from me, the louder those thoughts become."

Ever since becoming a Saint, reading traces of intent and emotional fluctuations had become disturbingly easy for me, especially toward those connected closely to my soul and existence.

And Vivi practically rang like an alarm every time she thought about those galaxy cores.

Steve leaned back slowly afterward.

"...That sounds incredibly dangerous. Didn’t you help out her while she was about to devour Blue Spiral?"

"I did and doing it without me will be dangerous," I replied. "Which is exactly why I’m telling you both."

North frowned slightly.

"You want us to stop her?"

"No." I shook my head immediately. "I want both of you to go with her."

That clearly surprised them.

"She’s going to do it anyway," I continued calmly. "And both of you need growth as well. You’re still Transcendent rank while everything around us is moving toward Saint and beyond." I paused briefly before looking directly at them. "So go with her and make sure she doesn’t get herself killed."

Steve sighed heavily.

"You say that like we can actually stop Vivi from doing something insane."

"That’s fair."

North looked at me carefully afterward.

"You’re not taking us to the Null Realm."

It wasn’t really a question.

I shook my head slowly.

"No."

Neither of them spoke immediately after hearing that.

"The Null Realm is different," I said quietly while looking between them. "Even Saints disappear there permanently. I don’t fully understand the place yet and until I know exactly what we are dealing with, I’m not dragging either of you into it."

Steve rubbed the back of his neck slightly.

"Yeah. I knew it already. But I am prepared for this new mission. I need to increase my levels and given that you have taken out all the Eternal forces from Blue Spiral, we don’t have strong enemies to fight with."

"Yeah that’s the plan." I nodded.

I reached into my soul space afterward and pulled out two silver-violet orbs, each one roughly the size of a fist while layers of runes drifted slowly beneath their surface.

Both of them looked toward the objects immediately.

I handed one orb to Steve and the other to North.

"These are emergency formations tied directly to my soul force," I explained calmly. "If your life comes under real danger, they’ll activate automatically."

Steve turned the orb carefully in his hand.

"And do what exactly?"

"First they’ll attempt teleportation. If teleportation fails, the orb will create a defensive barrier strong enough that even an ordinary Saint won’t break it quickly."

North looked surprised hearing that.

"That sounds ridiculously valuable."

"It is."

Steve stared at the orb for another second before muttering quietly,

"You really think this galaxy-devouring idea is going to become a disaster."

I smiled faintly.

"With things like this there’s always a chance. Anyway if they activate I will know it and then can come to help you out."

The conversation continued for some more time after that before eventually settling into quieter discussions regarding possible nearby galaxies, growth opportunities, and the state of the Blue Spiral itself. Yet despite the calm atmosphere around us, I could still feel the faint tension lingering beneath everything.

Tomorrow I would leave for the Null Realm.

And they would begin chasing galaxies alongside Vivi.

By the time morning truly arrived the next day, the skies above Abor had already turned golden while soft clouds drifted across the horizon beyond the endless oceans.

I stood outside the mansion silently while the cool wind moved through the open fields surrounding the island.

Then space shifted.

Crimson particles gathered ahead of me before Amun stepped out casually with both hands inside his pockets.

"Well," he said with a grin, "looks like you are really eager to go."

Before I could answer, another presence descended upon the island.

Golden lightning spread soundlessly through the skies.

Then she appeared.

Defender Aurora.

Her real body.

For a brief second even the surrounding world seemed to quiet around her arrival. Long blue hair drifted softly behind her while golden Essence moved naturally around her figure like extensions of existence itself. Her beauty honestly felt unreal, not in a mortal sense but in the overwhelming way higher existences carried themselves naturally beyond ordinary imperfection.

A Demi-God.

And for the first time I could truly feel what that meant.
