Chapter 1206: The Trio

The girl on the left stepped forward.

A wall appeared.

It wasn’t merely a wall of stone or metal. It was an enormous continent-sized barrier constructed entirely from compressed Essence, and when the weapons collided with it, the resulting explosion illuminated half the planet. Thousands of weapons shattered against the barrier, only for the fragments to transform into countless smaller blades that continued forward.

The girl raised her other hand.

The barrier became a forest.

Millions of enormous vines erupted from it, each one twisting through space and wrapping around Vivi’s creations. The vines tightened with enough force to crush mountains, but Vivi simply smiled and clenched her fist.

Every vine suddenly transformed into glass. Then the glass exploded. The two manifestations were immediately swallowed by a storm of razor-sharp fragments.

Yet before the explosion had even settled, Steve disappeared.

There was no warning.

One instant he stood beside Vivi, and the next his figure had already crossed the battlefield.

His transformation since reaching the Saint realm was immediately apparent.

Lightning no longer merely surrounded his body. It had become part of his existence.

Black lightning surged through the skeletal framework beneath his flesh, while his sword carried a dark electrical glow that seemed to devour the surrounding light. His speed was so extreme that even the twin manifestations struggled to follow him.

The girl on the right reacted immediately. A gigantic shield formed in front of her.

Steve reappeared in the sky, his breathing steady.

North was already there.

Unlike Steve, North didn’t rely on explosive speed alone. Her movements had become almost impossible to predict. Her body seemed to flow with the surrounding air as her twin blades continuously changed direction.

"Rolling Death Spiral."

She spun.

The surrounding atmosphere instantly transformed into a gigantic vortex.

Wind gathered from hundreds of kilometers around, compressing tighter and tighter around his body until North became the center of a colossal rotating blade storm. Every rotation produced dozens of crescent-shaped slashes, and each one was powerful enough to tear through a Saint-level defensive barrier.

The girl on the left immediately created another defense.

North’s storm struck it.

The barrier held for less than a second. Then the entire construct was carved apart.

North emerged from the collapsing storm, her two blades crossing before her.

Her entire body disappeared.

The next instant, she appeared directly beside the girl.

One blade moved. The strike concentrated all the momentum of her movement into a single point.

The girl’s defensive Essence armor cracked.

Before she could respond, North shifted her body and delivered the second strike.

The first slash opened the defense.

The second pierced through it.

The girl was blasted backward, her body crashing through several layers of Essence-created terrain before finally stopping.

But the other twin had already reacted.

The planet itself seemed to move.

An enormous hand emerged from the ground and attempted to crush North between its fingers.

North twisted her body in midair, barely escaping the grasp before Steve appeared above the hand.

Lightning erupted from his body.

"Storm Laceration."

He became a streak of black lightning. His sword swept downward.

The enormous hand was cut apart, and the resulting lightning spread through its entire structure. In less than a breath, the construct collapsed into countless sparks.

Steve landed beside North.

The two exchanged a brief glance and they moved together again.

Steve attacked from the front while North disappeared into the wind.

The twin manifestations immediately created thousands of defensive constructs, but the two Saints moved between them with perfect coordination. Steve’s lightning shattered the outer defenses while North’s compressed wind blades pierced the gaps he created.

Vivi did not give them another chance to recover. The moment the two manifestations gathered Essence, the atmosphere around her changed. The vast reserves of Essence belonging to the galaxy began flowing toward her at an astonishing rate, converging around her body until even the surrounding space started to distort under the sheer density of energy.

She extended one hand toward the twins, and the sky above them suddenly collapsed inward.

A black sphere appeared high above the battlefield.

At first, it was no larger than a fist, but within the span of a breath it expanded into a massive black hole several hundred meters across.

An incomparably terrifying gravitational force erupted from it, pulling everything toward its center. Mountains cracked and broke apart as fragments of stone were dragged into the sky, while the two twins were forcibly pulled from their positions.

Their expressions changed as they immediately poured Essence into their bodies, attempting to resist the attraction, but Vivi did not give them the opportunity to stabilize.

With her other hand, she clenched her fingers.

The black hole vanished.

In the same instant, the sky above the twins erupted.

Hundreds of enormous meteors appeared from nowhere, each one formed from condensed Essence and wrapped in layers of blazing energy. They were not ordinary rocks created for the sake of attack.

Vivi had compressed so much power into each meteor that their descent alone caused the surrounding atmosphere to distort. The first meteor crashed down, followed by another, then another, until the entire sky seemed to be falling.

The twins moved together, their bodies flashing through the gaps between the descending destruction. One raised both hands and created an enormous barrier of crystalline Essence, while the other formed a massive vortex that attempted to divert the remaining meteors away from them.

Several were deflected, but the rest continued downward. When the first meteor struck the barrier, the resulting explosion swallowed an entire mountain range and sent a violent shockwave across the planet.

Before the smoke could even disperse, Vivi appeared above them.

She swept her hand downward.

The sky transformed into a storm.

Fire and lightning erupted together, forming a colossal tidal wave that descended from the heavens. Flames stretched across the horizon while countless bolts of lightning intertwined through them, turning the entire attack into a sea of destruction. The two girls barely managed to reinforce their defenses before the wave crashed down.

The impact shook the entire planet.

Steve and North had already moved away from the center of the battlefield, but even they were forced to brace themselves against the tremendous pressure. Steve’s black lightning crawled across his body as his Blackvolt Skeleton absorbed the excess force, while North’s body remained suspended within a rapidly rotating vortex of compressed wind.

Through the flames, the twins suddenly emerged.

Their clothes were torn, and their bodies were covered in injuries, but their expressions remained determined. They immediately counterattacked. One of them summoned a gigantic blade of condensed Essence and brought it down toward Vivi, while the other gathered the surrounding energy into a sphere of destructive force and launched it from behind her sister.
