My Talent's Name Is Generator

Chapter 1222: Success

Chapter 1222: Success

My heart trembled slightly as that thought emerged.

The Right to Isolate.

I had possessed that Right for so long that I had almost forgotten how strange it truly was. I had always treated it as one of the mysterious abilities granted to me, something fundamentally different from my Laws. But now, looking at the black crack, I suddenly felt a connection that had always been there.

I simply had not been able to see it.

The humanoid attacked again.

I met it head-on.

Its spear thrust forward, and the black crack tore through Space toward me. I raised my staff and created layer after layer of spatial barriers, but instead of merely strengthening them, I began examining the crack itself. I watched every fluctuation, every distortion and every change in the surrounding Space. With each exchange, my understanding deepened.

The crack struck my barriers. I was thrown backward.

I recovered and attacked.

The figure countered.

Another crack appeared.

It cut through my defense and left another wound across my body.

But I no longer cared about the injuries.

Every attack revealed something new.

The battle continued like that for what felt like an eternity. Sometimes I managed to avoid the crack completely. Other times it tore through my flesh, leaving wounds that would have been fatal to an ordinary Saint. I learned how it formed, how it traveled, how it separated Space and, most importantly, how the principle behind it could be reproduced.

My comprehension continued rising.

What I had once considered the limit of Space slowly became only the beginning.

The silver ocean around us reacted to my understanding. Its waves grew more violent, and countless spatial fluctuations gathered around my body. The distance between myself and the humanoid figure seemed to lose meaning as I gradually understood that distance was simply another relationship governed by Space.

Then, during another exchange, I finally stopped defending.

The figure thrust its spear.

The black crack appeared.

But this time, I raised my hand.

Space trembled around my fingers.

I could feel something inside me that had not been there before. It was not a technique I had learned, nor was it a skill granted by the System. It was something I had understood.

The space between my fingers separated.

A thin black line appeared.

At first, it was barely visible, but as my understanding surged forward, the line rapidly expanded into a black crack that carried the same terrifying spatial fluctuations as the figure’s attack.

I stared at it for a moment.

Then I smiled.

"So this is what you were trying to show me."

The two cracks collided.

For the first time since the battle began, the humanoid figure’s attack stopped.

The two black cracks pushed against each other, their spatial principles constantly colliding and attempting to erase one another. The figure’s crack had been born from the Origin of Space, but mine was no longer simply an imitation. With every exchange, I had absorbed more of the principle behind it. I had understood its structure, its purpose and the fundamental relationship it represented.

My attack grew stronger.

The figure’s attack began to tremble.

I pushed my comprehension further, and the black crack I had created suddenly surged forward.

The opposing crack shattered.

A wave of spatial power swept across the ocean as my attack continued forward, tearing through the remaining defenses and striking the humanoid figure directly.

Its body cracked from head to toe.

The spear broke apart.

The figure tried to resist, but the black crack had already penetrated its entire existence. Its body began collapsing into countless fragments of light before finally exploding into a vast wave of spatial energy.

I stood there silently, watching the remains disperse around me.

Then something caught my attention.

The golden thread that had been embedded in the figure’s forehead had not disappeared. It floated quietly in front of me, almost as though it had been waiting for this moment.

The moment I looked at it, the golden thread moved. It crossed the distance between us in an instant and entered my forehead.

My entire body shook.

An unimaginable amount of information suddenly poured into my mind.

I saw Space from countless perspectives at once. I understood distance, separation, boundaries, position, direction and the relationships connecting every point of existence. Knowledge that I could never have obtained through ordinary cultivation flooded into my consciousness, and for a moment, I felt as though my mind had become a vast ocean with no beginning or end.

I lost all sense of my body. There was only understanding.

My consciousness sank deeper and deeper into Space, and something inside me began to change. The fragments of knowledge I had gathered through the battle started connecting together, forming a structure far more profound than the Law of Space I had previously understood.

I entered an enlightened state. I did not know how long I remained there.

Perhaps days passed.

Perhaps years.

Perhaps only a moment.

Inside that state, time itself had lost its meaning.

Eventually, my consciousness slowly returned.

I opened my eyes.

The silver ocean was still there, surrounding me in every direction, but something felt different. The overwhelming knowledge had settled inside my mind, no longer flooding my thoughts. I could now sense Space in a way I never had before. It was no longer merely something I manipulated.

I took a slow breath and examined myself.

That was when I noticed the remains of the humanoid figure.

The silver energy surrounding me had begun flowing toward my body.

At first, I assumed it was simply disappearing back into the Origin Expanse, but then the energy entered my body instead. It flowed through my Soul, into my Soul Sphere, and began merging with my existing Soul Force.

I immediately focused my perception inward.

My Soul Sphere was still predominantly silver, but among the silver brilliance, I could now see slightly more golden light than before.

My expression changed.

It had increased.

Only slightly, but there was no mistaking it.

The amount of golden Soul Force inside my Soul Sphere had grown. I stared at it for several seconds before looking around at the endless silver ocean.

A strange realization slowly emerged in my mind.

Was this place doing more than helping me comprehend the Laws?

Could the Origin Expanse also strengthen my Soul Force?

I looked at the endless ocean surrounding me, and I felt that I might have underestimated what this realm truly was.

Just as I was pondering the mystery of this place, another figure emerged from the silver ocean. This one carried a bow in its hand, an arrow already nocked and ready to fire, and just like the previous figure, a golden thread was embedded in the center of its forehead.

My eyes immediately lit up with fighting spirit, and a grin spread across my face. At this point, I wanted nothing more than to keep fighting. I had more motivation than ever. Every battle increased my comprehension, and now I had discovered that defeating these figures could also strengthen my Soul Force. What more could I ask for?

And so began my endless grinding within the Origin Expanse.

I decided to completely finish my comprehension of Space before moving on to Time. At the same time, I would use these battles to explore my Rights as well. The Right to Isolate was the perfect example. I had always treated it as a mysterious ability, but after understanding the connection between it and Space, I could no longer look at my Rights the same way. Perhaps each of them contained a deeper principle that I had yet to uncover.
