Chapter 1259: Another Origin Source
Chapter 1259: Another Origin Source
I ignored his reaction. Instead, I reached forward and touched the surface of the spear. The moment my finger touched it, I understood its nature more clearly.
It really was blood. It was highly compressed blood containing enormous amounts of Soul Force, and the Blood Origin within it had been refined to an extremely aggressive state.
I looked back at him.
"You should take it back."
I flicked my finger.
The spatial restraint disappeared. The spear instantly shot backward.
But I was not simply returning it. Space exploded behind the spear. The additional force accelerated it violently, causing its speed to increase far beyond what it had possessed when it first attacked me.
The spear tore through the void like a crimson meteor. Sovereign Millennium Blood’s expression twisted with fury.
A furious roar erupted from his mouth. At the same moment, his body began to transform.
His humanoid form expanded violently, bones shifting beneath his skin as his body grew larger and larger. His arms became enormous, his legs thickened, and crimson scales spread rapidly across his body.
His face elongated. His jaw widened.
A massive tail emerged behind him. In the blink of an eye, the eight-foot humanoid had disappeared.
Standing before me was an enormous crocodile.
Its body was gigantic, covered in thick crimson scales, while its blood-red eyes burned with murderous intent. Its aura became even more violent in its transformed state, and the sheer physical pressure radiating from its body caused the surrounding void to tremble.
The giant crocodile raised its massive front claws. Blood Origin erupted around them.
One enormous crimson claw swung forward.
At the same moment, the returning spear reached him.
The claw and spear collided.
BOOM!
A violent explosion of Blood Origin erupted across the battlefield.
The shockwave spread through the void, and the surrounding debris of the broken galaxy was sent tumbling backward as the two forces collided.
The collision between the blood spear and the enormous crimson claw lasted only for an instant, but the force released from it was enough to shake the surrounding void.
The spear trembled violently before the crocodile’s claw finally pushed it away, and with another furious roar, Sovereign Millennium Blood sent it flying into the distance. His enormous body twisted as he followed the movement, and the spear dissolved into a stream of blood that flowed back toward him, clearly under his control.
He did not give me time to respond.
The giant crocodile opened its enormous jaws and released a roar that seemed to shake the entire battlefield. Its massive tail suddenly swung around, and a dense crimson light gathered along its length before shooting toward me.
A blood-red ray tore through the void.
I took another step forward.
Space Origin resonated around my body, and I casually swept my hand across the incoming attack.
The blood-colored ray vanished.
Sovereign Millennium Blood’s eyes widened.
But before he could react, the vanished attack suddenly reappeared above him.
I had simply moved it.
The crimson ray descended from directly above and slammed into his enormous body.
BOOM!
The impact tore through his scales and drove his massive body downward. Blood splattered through the void as several layers of his defense were ripped apart, and his enormous jaws opened in a pained roar.
The crocodile struggled to recover, its claws digging into the void as it tried to stabilize itself, but I was already moving.
I took another step.
Space folded beneath my feet. When I appeared again, I was directly in front of his enormous head.
I raised my hand and extended two fingers toward him.
My Deep Golden Soul Force erupted.
The moment it appeared, the surrounding void trembled.
Unlike the Pale Golden Soul Force he had released earlier, my Soul Force carried a much deeper golden color, and the pressure radiating from it caused the already oppressive battlefield to become even heavier. Golden light surged from my body and gathered around my extended fingers before rapidly compressing.
Sovereign Millennium Blood stared at me.
For the first time since the battle began, I saw something different in his blood-red eyes.
It was fear.
I looked directly into them.
"No matter whether it is a million bloodlines or a billion, in front of Time, all things shall eventually decay."
My voice remained calm.
I activated my Right to Decay.
The enormous amount of Deep Golden Soul Force surrounding my body suddenly compressed.
All of it.
The energy that had been spreading across the void collapsed toward the tips of my two fingers until everything was condensed into a single point.
A tiny golden dot appeared before my hand.
It looked insignificant. Yet the moment it formed, Sovereign Millennium Blood’s enormous body instinctively tensed.
The dot trembled once.
Then a single golden line shot forward.
It was too fast.
The crocodile reacted immediately, its enormous body twisting sideways as it attempted to evade the attack, but the golden line had already crossed the distance between us.
It struck him directly.
The moment it touched his body, the power of Decay entered his existence.
His crimson scales began losing their vitality.
At first, only a small patch near his chest changed, but the decay spread rapidly from there. The scales darkened and shriveled, the enormous muscles beneath them losing their strength as his body began aging at an impossible rate.
Sovereign Millennium Blood roared. He tried to release his Blood Origin.
He tried to summon the power of the countless bloodlines he had accumulated throughout his existence.
But Decay continued spreading.
One bloodline after another began collapsing. The enormous crocodile struggled violently as different bloodline powers erupted from his body, attempting to resist the decay, but none of them could escape the passage of Time.
A million bloodlines.
A million sources of vitality.
A million different inheritances.
It made no difference.
Everything was subject to Time.
Within several seconds, his enormous body had already shriveled considerably. The thick crimson scales became dry and brittle, his muscles withered, and the powerful aura that had surrounded him began collapsing rapidly.
He released one final roar. Then his enormous body began breaking apart.
Ten seconds had not even passed before the once terrifying crocodile had completely lost its vitality.
His massive body crumbled into countless particles and scattered through the void.
I lowered my hand.
Only a single blood-colored fragment remained where Sovereign Millennium Blood had disappeared.
It was small, no larger than my palm, and faint fluctuations of Soul Force could still be sensed within it. More importantly, I could clearly feel the remnants of his Blood Origin contained inside.
