My Talent's Name Is Generator

Chapter 1266: Eternal Cycle

Chapter 1266: Eternal Cycle

The comprehension was still useful, but it was not enough to cause any major change to my own resonance.

Still, I had gained something far more valuable.

Another enemy was gone.

I slowly turned toward Eternal Time.

He was still standing where my fused beam had forced him back, but his expression had become completely different. His eyes remained fixed on me, and I could see genuine fear within them.

I looked at him calmly.

"It’s time to deal with you."

I waved my hand.

The moment my fingers moved, the hidden formation I had prepared earlier finally awakened.

Millions of atom-sized Deep Golden Soul Force runes scattered throughout the surrounding void lit up simultaneously. Fire, Water, Earth, Wind, Space, Time, and Polarity responded together, and the entire Rumble Valley suddenly trembled as the formation emerged from concealment.

Eternal Time’s expression changed again.

The formation awakened completely.

For a brief moment, the entire Rumble Valley seemed to freeze.

Then millions of tiny runes emerged from the void.

They were so small that an ordinary Saint would never have been able to perceive them, but to me they were as clear as stars scattered across an endless night. Every rune carried a fragment of Deep Golden Soul Force, and together they formed an enormous network extending throughout the entire region.

The broken remains of the ancient battlefield began responding to it.

Fragments of destroyed planets trembled in the distance. Broken stars released faint waves of energy. Even the remnants of Laws buried within the debris were pulled toward the formation and absorbed into its structure.

Eternal Time noticed it immediately.

His expression became extremely solemn.

"So this was your preparation."

I smiled.

"You were kind enough to give me enough time."

The formation suddenly activated.

A vast golden pressure descended upon the entire region.

Eternal Time’s body sank slightly under the pressure, and the surrounding Space distorted around him. He immediately released his own Time Origin to resist, but the formation reacted faster than he expected. The moment his Time Origin spread outward, the runes surrounding him changed position.

I appeared above him.

My right hand descended.

A massive golden sword formed from compressed Space and Time and came crashing toward his head.

Eternal Time raised his hand.

"Eternal Hourglass."

The void behind him suddenly transformed.

A gigantic translucent hourglass appeared, but there was no sand inside it. Instead, countless golden fragments of time flowed upward from the bottom chamber toward the top. As the final fragment reached the upper chamber, the entire world around us suddenly became distorted.

My sword slowed. It almost stopped.

Eternal Time smiled.

"You are not the only one who can control the battlefield."

He clenched his fist.

The hourglass shattered.

The broken fragments transformed into thousands of golden temporal blades that shot toward me from every direction.

I twisted Space around my body.

The blades passed through where I had been standing, slicing through the void and cutting enormous pieces from distant planetary debris. One blade struck a broken moon and instantly aged it thousands of years. The celestial body collapsed into dust before the dust itself continued decaying until nothing remained.

I appeared behind Eternal Time.

My palm struck his back.

Space exploded.

The impact sent him flying through several fragments of ancient planets before he stabilized himself.

He looked back at me. A thin line of blood appeared at the corner of his mouth.

His eyes became colder.

"So the formation can amplify your control."

"It does more than that."

I raised my hand.

The formation responded. Suddenly, the entire region around Eternal Time became a spatial maze.

Every movement he made was redirected and an attempt to escape brought him closer to me.

Every attempt to attack created an opening somewhere else.

I was turning the entire battlefield into an extension of my Authority. His expression became increasingly grim.

He raised both hands.

"Then let us see how much your formation can endure."

The golden light surrounding his body suddenly changed.

Something deep within him cracked.

I immediately sensed it.

His soul.

Eternal Time’s Soul Force erupted violently, but unlike before, the power was unstable. His aura began climbing rapidly, and the forty percent Time Origin resonance surrounding him surged beyond its previous limit.

Forty-one.

Forty-two.

Forty-five.

The increase did not stop.

The golden light around his body became increasingly brilliant until it was almost white.

I narrowed my eyes.

He was burning his own soul.

Eternal Time knew exactly what he was doing.

He was forcibly extracting the deepest reserves of his soul and converting them into temporary Origin comprehension. The price was obvious. Every increase in strength was tearing apart his own foundation.

But he did not care.

"If I cannot defeat you with the power I have accumulated over countless years..."

His body trembled. Blood began leaking from his eyes.

"...then I will burn those years themselves."

His Time Origin exploded.

"Then die with me!"

The entire Rumble Valley disappeared. At least, that was what my senses told me. Everything became golden. The broken stars stopped. The planetary debris froze.

Even the formation itself slowed under the overwhelming pressure of Time.

Then Eternal Time disappeared. I sensed him behind me.

I turned.

His fist was already coming toward my chest.

I crossed both arms.

The impact exploded through my body.

Boom!

I was thrown backward like a meteor, smashing through several enormous fragments of planetary debris. Each impact created a massive explosion, and the ancient remains of the battlefield were torn apart as I finally stopped myself using Space.

Blood trickled from the corner of my mouth.

I looked up.

Eternal Time was standing in the distance. His aura was terrifying.

But his soul was also visibly weakening. He had pushed himself beyond what his body could sustain.

"You have got courage," I muttered.

Eternal Time’s eyes narrowed.

"You still have the time to smile?"

"I was wondering how much stronger you could become by destroying yourself."

His expression darkened.

"Then find out."

He raised his hand.

The surrounding Time Origin suddenly compressed into a gigantic golden ring.

"Eternal Cycle!"

The ring expanded.

Everything it touched began repeating. A destroyed planet exploded. Then returned to its original state. Then exploded again. Then returned again.

The same moment repeated endlessly, and every repetition released another wave of destructive Time energy toward me.

I immediately understood.

This was not an ordinary attack.

He was creating an eternal cycle in which the same destruction occurred repeatedly, allowing the accumulated force of countless repetitions to strike me simultaneously.
