Mystic Eyes: My Eyes Steal the Laws of Cultivation

Chapter 312: Final Phase (2)

Chapter 312: Final Phase (2)

After the announcement by the Leader of the Ancient Forest Sect, a wave of excitement swept across the entire Central Plateau. The hundred talented youths who had advanced to the final phase stood in the center of the arena, beneath the great ancestral tree. The air vibrated with anticipation. Thousands of cultivators in the floating stands murmured, placed bets, and commented excitedly. Finally, the direct one-on-one battles would begin. The true spectacle of the Domain Gathering.

The first match immediately drew everyone’s attention.

Kyrian.

He would fight against the weakest opponent in the ranking, a young man at the 8th stage of Qi Release from a minor domain. Everyone knew Kyrian would win. The difference in strength was absurd. But what everyone wanted to see was how he would win.

At the center of the plateau, an arena made entirely of living wood slowly rose from the ground, growing as if the ancestral tree itself had generated it. The floor was smooth, durable, and glowed with protective runes. That was where all the fights would take place.

The Leader of the Ancient Forest Sect looked at Kyrian and his opponent.

"Step forward."

Kyrian walked calmly to the center of the wooden arena. His opponent, a simple-looking young man in worn gray robes, climbed up shortly after. He showed obvious nervousness, hands trembling slightly on the hilt of his sword, sweat running down his forehead. Being the first to fight against the obviously strongest person there was a harsh sentence. He knew he had no chance, but he could not give up. Retreating would be an even greater disgrace.

The judge of the match, an elder from the Ancient Forest Sect, raised his hand.

"You may begin!"

Kyrian’s opponent took a deep breath and pointed his sword, releasing all of his sword energy. He attacked first, desperate to at least show some resistance.

But Kyrian did not want to waste time.

As soon as the judge gave the signal, his sword eyes spun slightly. A pure, ancestral sword intent, sharper than anything anyone there had ever felt, exploded into the air.

With a simple blink, an invisible blade cut through space. Kyrian’s opponent was sent flying backward as if struck by a giant hammer. His chest was torn open by a clean and deep cut, ripping through clothes, skin, and muscle. He screamed in pain, falling outside the arena with his body trembling. It was not a fatal blow, but enough to leave him completely incapable of fighting.

The judge immediately declared.

"Kyrian wins!"

Disciples of the Ancient Forest Sect rushed to retrieve the injured young man and carry him away for treatment.

The entire plateau erupted in commotion.

"A glance! He won with a single glance!"

"What kind of power is that?! He didn’t even need to draw his sword!"

"Monster... he is an absolute monster!"

Everyone had finally seen Kyrian in action. He had used only his sword intent, released through his eyes, to eliminate his opponent. No one understood how he was able to do such a thing. It was as if the air itself had turned into blades under his command.

At that exact moment, Kyrian felt several powerful spiritual senses sweep across his body. They belonged to the domain leaders and, especially, the envoys from the fourth-level forces. All of them believed that Kyrian possessed a special ocular physique.

But they were wrong.

The Leader of the Blazing Sword Sect suddenly stood up from his seat, his flaming eyes wide with shock.

"Damn! Now I understand... It makes perfect sense for him to be such a monster..."

The other leaders looked confused. They had also probed Kyrian’s body with their senses, but did not understand the exaggerated reaction of the Blazing Sword leader. After all, it was something so rare that not everyone even knew the legends.

The Leader of the Ancient Forest Sect let out a deep sigh, looking at Feng Yuan with a mixture of respect and disbelief.

"Now I understand what you meant by ’more special than a special physique’..." he said out loud, for everyone to hear.

"So... Kyrian is a mortal with an Innate Talent. A talent blessed by the heavens, comparable to Celestial Physiques."

A heavy silence fell over the VIP section.

All the leaders understood at the same time. An Innate Talent, something so rare that it existed only in ancient legends. A gift that allowed a mortal to ignore common limitations and grow and cultivate in a terrifying manner. It made perfect sense for his strength to be so overwhelming.

Meanwhile, in the area reserved for the envoys of the fourth-level forces, the reaction was even more intense.

One of the envoys, wearing the robe of the Southern Wind Dynasty, murmured.

"I didn’t expect to see this boy here..."

"What do you mean, you know him?" another asked.

"Not just me. I believe most of us here do," he replied, looking at his companions.

"Kyrian was in the Cloud Empire months ago, participating in the grand auction. He became famous in the Cloud Coliseum, competing directly with disciples from various fourth-level forces."

"But I heard he was part of the Blood Court," another envoy commented.

"Then why is he here representing the Verdant Sword?"

"I can’t say. But one thing is certain, he can win first place in this competition with his eyes closed."

They did not reveal any more details about Kyrian’s origins. They decided to remain silent and simply observe.

The battles continued in the arena.

After Kyrian’s overwhelming victory, it was Huo Ling’s turn to step up. The young man from the Blazing Sword fought with controlled fury, and it did not take long for him to send his opponent flying out of the arena, his chest burning and a bleeding cut across it.

The next fights were equally intense but quite uneven. Those in higher positions were obviously more powerful than those in lower positions, but no one really cared about that, they just wanted to see the battles unfold.

Kyrian watched everything calmly, seated in his designated position among the participants. He had already fulfilled his role in the first match. Now, he awaited his next bout.

Meanwhile, the name "Kyrian" echoed throughout the entire plateau. His fame had definitively exploded.

The final phase of the Domain Gathering had begun. And Kyrian, once again, was the center of all attention.
