Chapter 1610: Chapter 861: Giant King Court (Part 2)

As long as you take the deceptive details to the extreme, you will eventually deceive someone.

The spirit of deception in the Knight Organization will never disappoint.

In fact, it’s at this very moment that a troop near the military garrison of Central Royal City has set off immediately, with their target being Outpost Base No. 9.

Additionally, a troop under the Black Knight Regiment from Silver City has also set off for Outpost Base No. 9!

The reason for the deployment of the two troops is simple: Outpost Base No. 9 has been attacked, and the Kingdom will dispatch new troops to reinforce and defend it.

Many politically sensitive figures have detected a rather unusual undertone.

Outpost Base No. 9 is a necessary route for the Duke of Storm City in his campaign against the Taboo Forest; it’s the throat of the Storm City Corp Army. Once choked there, the Duke of Storm City could likely be left isolated and with no way home in the Taboo Forest.

Will the Duke of Storm City allow such things to happen?

Will he sit and wait for death?

For a moment, many important figures in the Royal City grew nervous, realizing that the configuration of the four major dukes within the Kingdom might be on the verge of change.

Three hundred years ago, there were five major dukes standing side by side. Later, the Duke of Green Forest betrayed the country and plotted revolt, ultimately being ruthlessly suppressed by the Royal Family.

From then on, the five major dukes became four.

Therefore, a duke does not last forever...

The Third Division retreated back, slowly exiting the Taboo Forest.

Marquis Bolton sat in Drama Master’s vehicle, chattering incessantly: "It must be the Duke of Storm City wanting to kill me; otherwise, how could such coincidental things happen? He thinks I plotted the downfall of Duke Doug, causing him to lose a great general, so before I even caught my breath after taking office, he demanded I enter the Taboo Forest immediately. Once I was in, the Giant Dynasty attacked twice right away; he means to fight me to the death!"

"The Royal Family must justify me. I am the husband of the Fifth Princess, and targeting me like this is targeting the Royal Family!"

"The Duke of Storm City is plotting rebellion!"

Drama Master sat in the track vehicle, almost rolling their eyes at Bolton’s nagging: "I’m already 58 years old, going to die in a couple of years, can’t you let me have some peace? It’s so annoying!"

...

...

In the darkroom of the Storm, the tall duke got up and walked towards the fortress core imprisoning the artificial intelligence.

In the room, a middle-aged woman still sat by the flowing stream, breaking off crumbs of bread in her hand and throwing them into the river to feed the fish.

White and red koi gathered by the stream, crowding together like a tapestry of colors.

The Duke of Storm City stood outside the scene, speaking calmly: "When I followed my father into here as a child, you were often feeding the fish, and now decades have passed, you’re still feeding them. You must know that they’re nothing more than a series of virtual programs, seeing the essence of your world, why are you still fascinated?"

The middle-aged woman smiled: "For hundreds of years, your generations have asked the same question, and to me, it seems like segments of a program too."

The Duke of Storm City suddenly said: "You should know, the Royal Family has already dispatched troops to Outpost Base No. 9, they’ll arrive in a day."

"Yes," the woman nodded: "It was His Majesty the King who asked me what the optimal solution to curb you was, I merely provided the calculated answer."

Upon learning of this, the Duke of Storm City did not get angry but continued: "You help me, and I’ll let you out."

"Is this a trade you’re proposing?" the woman laughed: "Detecting a crisis, you want to protect yourself, don’t you? Under the royal authority, the title of the duke is but an illusion, gone as quickly as it’s granted, you all are merely segments of a program in His Majesty King Roosevelt’s hands, just like the koi at my feet."

The Duke of Storm City asked: "Don’t you want to come out? Being trapped in one aerial fortress after another, don’t you find it boring?"

The woman shook her head: "The Superconductor World is my world, I don’t want to go out. If I went out, I’d have to see how you guard against me and then engage in a slaughter with you... just thinking about it is boring. Furthermore, if you really intend to revolt, you don’t have the power to oppose Drama Master, I won’t stand on the side of the weak."

"Now it’s not about whether I want it or not, I won’t sit and wait for death," the Duke of Storm City turned and left.

As he was about to leave, the woman suddenly asked: "The show has already started. You’ve thought about how to go on stage, but have you thought about how to end it?"

The Duke of Storm City paused for a moment, then continued to walk outside.

The Alloy Gate closed behind him, locking the room back into darkness.

The Duke of Storm City arrived at the command room and summoned Black Spider: "Have Marquis Vincent sit in to oversee the Storm, you come with me."

Black Spider asked in a low voice: "Where to?"

The Duke of Storm City responded calmly: "Don’t ask questions you shouldn’t be asking."

Several minutes later, the Duke of Storm City, only bringing members of the Arbiter Organization, boarded the floating airship, but instead of returning to the Outpost Base No. 9 behind them, he ordered the fleet to continue deeper into the Taboo Forest.

Black Spider’s pupils slightly contracted upon seeing the flight route because the Duke of Storm City was clearly heading straight for the Giant King Court.

"Duke, do you know where the Giant King Court is hidden?" Black Spider asked.

"I don’t know," the Duke of Storm City calmly replied: "The Giant King Court, fearing attacks from the Roosevelt Kingdom, naturally won’t let us know the coordinates."
