Chapter 895: Moeria Starlight
Chapter 895: Moeria Starlight
Moeria’s story...began at the young age of only five years old. Her mother–a Gaian, was browsing the channels on her television when suddenly an idol show appeared on the screen. The call of her husband drew Moeria’s mother away from the couch, leaving her daughter–Umi, alone with the bursting show of lights and dancing to unfold before her.
The colors, the dazzling women, and the cheering of the crowd drew Umi closer to the TV. She stared at the show with a dazzling glow in her eyes, and in that moment, she decided to become an idol and one day dance in front of everyone on that same stage.
Alas, seldom do dreams come true. Her dreams were no different as the crushing weight of reality utterly crippled her. Standing quietly behind her perv of a boss, her mind would doze off, and the ever-so-hard-working secretary wouldn’t even realize when her boss’s meeting with his employees came to an end. Only after he’d called her by her name or made a distasteful remark did she snap out of her stupor.
Forcing a smile on her lips, she would act indifferent and follow that man everywhere. Often, her mind simply zoned out of the moment, and her eyes stared at nothing. She wasn’t exactly an attentive worker, but as far as her employer was concerned, she was no more than eye candy. Thus, in the end, everything seemed to work.
Her zoning out was such a known phenomenon; in fact, she was perceived as an ice queen of sorts who would easily shatter the hearts of men without batting an eye. If only they knew the true her... For once her work was over, and she’d returned home, throwing away her formal attire, the so-called ice queen would sit in front of the TV with glow sticks in her hands and a massive smile.
Watching idol shows at full volume and cheering the girls on as if she were truly there at the venue, she quickly became the obnoxious and loud neighbor. Thankfully, however, being on time for rent and not disturbing the neighbors with anything else, she was given just enough leeway to get away with her behavior.
Besides, on her weekends, she wouldn’t be home to disturb them. Instead, she regularly buys tickets to a concert and watches them live. Wearing every ounce of overpriced merch, the cold-eyed secretary turned into an enthusiastic teen every time she was surrounded by like-minded people. Cheering and screaming, there was something so cathartic about it that it made up for a whole week of putting up with her boss’s bullshit.
On one such night over the weekends, she was recognized by one of the idols called Yumi. The similarity of their names made the two chuckle, and to Umi’s surprise, she was told to wait in the makeup so that the idol could talk to her some more. As a loyal fan of hers, nothing could’ve brought her greater joy.
Taking a seat in the makeup room, she waited and waited while her heart pounded faster and faster, expecting the idol to show up anytime. As the door to the room opened, however, it wasn’t Yumi who’d shown up but a rather disheveled-looking man. At first, she was confused, but then she noticed the knife in his hand. Freezing up in her chair, she drew a sharp breath as the man exclaimed.
"She’s mine! I was going to confess to her today!"
"W-what are you talking about?!" She responded, freaking out beyond belief.
Breaking the tension momentarily, at the same time, the door opened again, and this time it was Yumi walking into the room. Only seeing the back of the strange man, she narrowed her gaze but didn’t think much of it; instead, looking at Umi, she smiled and tried walking towards her. Not knowing who it was, the strange man quickly turned his mind, determined to stab the person and run.
Realizing his intentions just in time, Umi rushed out of her chair and screamed Yumi’s name. The man’s hands froze as he realized that it was the idol of his dreams standing in front of him and not someone else, but by that time, Umi had already pushed him towards a wall, and the two quickly fell on the ground.
Hitting his head against the wall, the man groaned in pain while Umi simply flipped on her back and looked up at Yumi. Panting heavily as her heart was racing faster than ever, she tried smiling at her idol when she felt something sharp digging into her belly.
"No-NO!!" The idol screamed before dropping to her knees.
The sharp pain in her belly and the look of worry in Yumi’s eyes were both the ache and the balm to the very same for the cold secretary. And yet, while the idol screamed for help and the sound of footsteps echoed in the background, the only thing in Umi’s mind was to reach for Yumi’s face with a bloodied hand and ask...
"Are you okay?" And that was when her hand fell.
No more creeps and no more idols. Or so she thought, for Aphrodite of Atlaris had other plans. Swooping her soul before it could slip into the afterlife, the goddess of life swept Umi into her service. However, the otherworlder wasn’t willing to work for free, and in turn, for her servitude, she asked for one thing and one thing only.
"And idol..." Luckily for her, back then, Helga was working merely as a spy at the dragon lord’s castle.
She hadn’t even lost her virginity, nor had she done any nightly deeds. And although trained to handle herself in case someone were to force themselves onto her, she was, in a way, the shining example for the rest of the soldiers in Aphrodite’s service.
Sent to the Valkyrie as an advisor, Umi’s name changed to Moeria–an oracle of old whose name was lost to the sand of time by the end of the very holy war. Under her guidance and through the influence of Aphrodite, Umi advised Helga on the path on which she must walk to subdue the dragon lord’s kingdom. Alas, the perversion of the goddess they served seeped into them as well, leading both Helga and Moeria down a dark path–one that they tried to resist at first. Still, eventually it became clear that there was no other way but to use their charm and lie with both men and women to get what they wanted.
Being only an advisor, Moeria never slept with any subjects of interest herself. But seeing a supple yet near-divine form dominating men and women both in bed and at war, stirred something within her until, eventually, she longed for the Valkyrie herself. Unfortunately, for her, however, Helga’s interest in women was merely an extension of her mission or in the form of humiliating the men around them. Possessing neither of the qualifiers–in the end–Moeria settled only to praise her idol’s body with touches, being degraded by her like stepping on her body, her face, or being used as a chair, and something, very rarely–licking the sweat off of her skin while the two were discussing their next moves in the bath.
"You haven’t changed, Moeria. Why?" Helga asked her advisor, now only a spirit inhabiting an alien device.
"Because I’m a sucker for idols..." Moeria replied, her heart content with life. After all, she got what she wanted in the end, an eternity with an idol by her side. Even if that affection was heavily one-sided. "And also because in this case, I’m the perv, ahaha~."
"You’re a degenerate..." Helga scowled, but Moeria didn’t care; she simply laughed.
As frustrated as the valkyrie was, however, it was time for her advisor to dish out some much-needed advice. The seer of the future, what better clarity could one ask for in such turbulent times?
