For other Summoners, it might be difficult to increase their Elemental Ascendance, but for Ajax, it was very easy.

Other than the fact that he currently had lots of Divine Pearls, which he could use to instantly awaken the Elemental Ascendance to 100 percent, there was another thing he was confident in.

The reason for such a reward was that some participants who already had 10 or so Official Elemental Spirits didn't want another official Elemental Spirit, as it would increase the burden and delay their ascension to the Heavenly Realm.

So, the participants were given the chance to convert their Unofficial Contracts into Official Contracts whenever they wanted, until they ascended to the Heavenly Realm.

As for the reason why Ajax chose not to convert it into an Official Contract, it was because the moment he did, Protos would evolve into a Divine Elemental Spirit and get sealed, which Ajax didn't want.

'The main effect of my Special Title: [Elemental Spirit Master] is both a good thing and a bad thing.'

The good thing was that there was no need for the Elemental Spirit to go through the arduous process of cultivation. It could directly evolve into a Divine Elemental Spirit.

As for the bad thing, these Elemental Spirits would have less battle prowess, fewer skills, and so on.

Take Protos, for example. If Ajax had formed an official contract with him from the beginning, he would not have discovered the many benefits of nurturing an Elemental Spirit in an Elemental Source Land.

Moreover, Protos would not have awakened two Unique Skills, one Divine Skill, and one Divine Talent.

Also, another downside was that the Divine Elemental Spirits would get sealed, which Ajax didn't want to happen, as Protos's ability to control the Elemental Beasts would greatly help destroy the Dark Worlds in the Dark Region, which in turn would increase the Universe's acknowledgement of him.

Considering all these things, Ajax decided to convert the contract with Protos later on, when he found out the method to unseal the Divine Elemental Spirits.

'Since the three Elemental Spirits from the additional reward won't have an official contract with me from the beginning, just like Protos, I can nurture them from scratch.'

Even though, in Protos's case, he only had to reach the Elemental Spirit King Realm to get an opportunity to turn the unofficial contract into an official contract, in the case of these three new Elemental Spirits, he had to nurture them to the pinnacle of the cultivation realm, which was Level 9 Elemental Spirit Emperor Realm.
