Chapter 495: Take me to them, visiting the gods

The next day, by now, the population had increased by 5 billion. Everyone was getting busy. Julie, Miwa, and Alissa were enjoying their time in the Nexus Domain, and his parents had gone into seclusion to comprehend laws. The elves had given their regards and left, but before they left, they asked Aerin to stay behind. She became aware of his powers as a formation master and wished to learn from him. Grey wanted to reject her at first, but she was extremely talented, hence he decided to take her in.

He had been slacking on his formations for a while now.

But before he completed all that, it was time to go back to the Blue Star and bring back everyone there, then merge the planet with the Nexus Domain.

The Dragon Monarch spaceship traveled through the vast space until it reached the Blue Star.

As soon as he arrived, a shooting star shot towards him with immense speed.

"You made a lot of noise while you were away." The person that rushed into his embrace was none other than Valeria.

Without hesitation, Grey kissed her on the forehead. "I missed you too."

He then gave her another kiss on the cheek.

"Stop, the others are here." Valeria stopped her man before he went overboard, because Werner, his disciple Carter, and the others were already here.

"Hm, where is Lia?" Grey suddenly frowned. "And where is Little Hong?"

"About that..." Valeria’s expression stiffened. "Several days after you left, Lia and Little Hong mysteriously vanished. But once Bai Yue used her eye powers, she was able to trace it to divinity."

"It was a god, Lord Grey," Bai Yue said with distress. "I was injured in the process, but the ones that abducted them were unmistakably gods."

"Abducted, huh?" Grey’s chuckle turned cold.

"What else? Get ready, fragment."

"Origin Will," Grey called out after replying to the Fragment.

Immediately, time froze, and the Origin Will manifested in front of him.

"I cannot tell you anything." The Origin Will looked at him plainly and spoke.

"The matters of the universe... you do know that I can’t reveal them to you, right? Tian Yuan had also tried to do the same, but I rejected him every time."

Grey looked at her with a calm expression; it was so calm that the Origin Will began to worry.

"You either tell me, or I unleash the Heavenly Dao’s power to kill you," Grey said with a meaningful smile.

"One is my girlfriend and the other is my daughter. To me, it means more than you, who is a replaceable existence."

"God’s traces cannot be found through normal means. I know that much, containing the essence of a god myself. Tell me, where are they?"

"..." The Origin Will stared at Grey with a sigh.

"They are on the other side of the universe. In the other domain the Yellow Ancestor told you about."

Grey stood in front of a glowing world.

There were no other worlds around here; it was completely secluded. But he expected that, the gods should be at least capable of this much.

Without hesitation, he entered it.

As soon as he did, several beams of light shot towards him, which were instantly changed by the myriad laws of chaos.

"Who are you?" A dignified voice came from the world. It was a man with golden hair, golden eyes, and a divine aura around him.

"How did you find this place, puny mortal?"

"Where is Lia?" Grey inquired with a calm gaze.

"Atrocious! You dare to casually name the God Empress of the God World with such a mortal name?" The blonde-haired man’s expression twisted as he visibly turned angry.

"What is happening outside?" Inside a red palace, several beings were seated. They were gods, and in the middle of it all sat Lia.

She also frowned at the disturbance.

"Go check out who it is," Lia ordered one of the gods in the seats.

"As you command, God Empress." A god stood up as he unleashed his aura. It was at the 7th rank. The others seated around the golden palace had peak 7th rank or 8th rank auras.

Lia was the only one with a 5th rank aura.

However, the following moment, space violently ripped apart as Grey appeared in the palace with an unconscious god in his hand.

Everyone in the room momentarily paused in their tracks.

"Grey?!" Lia exclaimed in disbelief.

"Who are you? What did you do to Aethel?" one of the young-looking gods with an 8th rank aura inquired as he eyed the blonde man in Grey’s hands.

They were all looking down on Grey, who had trespassed into a god’s sanctuary.

However, before they could do anything, Lia’s voice cut through. "Everyone stop. He is my partner. You cannot do anything to him."

"What? Your partner?" One of the gods frowned hearing this. "How can you have a partner, God Empress? There is no one in the entire cosmos or higher world that can be a suitor, let alone a mortal like him. I sense no ounce of higher power from him."

"I agree. God Empress, it seems like awakening your full memory is necessary. It seems like you have forgotten what it is about being a god. We are pure beings born out of the boundless energetic expression. As its ruler, you cannot do such a thing. The mortal world has corrupted you."

"Capture this imperfect mortal!" One of the other gods gave orders as they criticized Lia.

They felt it was barbaric and atrocious of Lia to have been mingling with a mortal man from this lower world that wasn’t worth a candle to even the lowest-tiered higher world.

They, gods, once ruled the higher worlds. They were the absolute rulers of it, along with the true source beings.

However, before they could take further action, Grey looked at them with a comedic look on his face.

He felt that it was very funny. They called him an imperfect mortal while they addressed themselves as perfect beings.

It was like a joke to him, the sole person that embodied perfection.

Then, the following instant, around the gigantic and spacious red palace, several Hell Portals popped up.

Out of them emerged devils.

"Go, servants of the god from hell. Capture that mortal spawn."

However, the instant they laid their eyes on Grey, their expressions stiffened.

The devils were once angels of the god kingdom, but those who disobeyed the gods fell as fallen angels, giving birth to devils. The boundless hell was created by the true devil that gained access to the power of the Ascendant Domain, but in turn, the boundless expression that made them rendered them unable to surpass the authority of gods. His Crown of Finality and his Saintly Halo stirred up as reality began to distort.

The following moment, the red palace made of what appeared to be the gods’ perfect incantations collapsed as the Beast of Finality descended from his inner space; with it, the Nexus Angels also emerged.

By now, all the other gods across the world had already perceived this change. They all rushed towards the palace with serious expressions, but stopped dead in their tracks when the sky above cracked apart.

Golden light illuminated the world as the power of the Heavenly Dao surged.

Ancient Dao incantations and Buddhist scriptures began to ring out on the planet the gods were staying on.

In the dead center of it, Grey stood with his eyes calmly gazing at the terrified gods with his hands clasped behind his back. Behind him was the Fragment, unleashing its full power as the Heavenly Dao, and below him the 1,000,000 Nexus Angels stood. Soon, the devils turned into Nexus Angels themselves as they also joined that army.

"I mean, I expected you gods to be arrogant. But, since you decided to force my hands, I had no choice," Grey spoke as he calmly sat on the back of the Beast of Finality, his Crown of Finality blazing with absolute authority.

He looked more like a god than them.

"W-Who are you? Are you from the Ascendancy Domain?" one of the elder gods asked in a terrified voice.

"I am sure my girlfriend already told you who I am. Her boyfriend." Grey smiled coldly at them.

By now, the others had also arrived.

"Who is that? How dare he trespass into the territory of gods!"

"Why aren’t the elders doing anything?"

Grey glanced at them with a blank expression, and the next moment, they all fell to the ground like flies.

Their knees buckled as their bodies fell, with their heads hitting the floor hard.

"Enough. Grey, don’t hurt them." Lia finally snapped out of her shock and pleaded. "T-They are my people. I know they have wronged you, but they don’t know who or what you are."

"You are getting punished after this, you know that right, my dear girlfriend? Don’t meddle in matter. I’ll handle it." Grey smiled at her brightly and spoke.

Lia’s expression stiffened when she heard this. She didn’t know what to say to this anymore.

"I am here to pick up my girlfriend and daughter," Grey spoke casually to the gods. "I will leave after that, and we will treat it like we never saw each other. How about that?"

Grey snapped his fingers, and a fragmented axe appeared next to him.

Then, with another snap of his fingers, the axe stirred and transformed, turning into Little Hong, who had grown bigger. She looked like a teenager who was fifteen or sixteen.

"Grey..." Little Hong opened her eyes in disbelief. "What is happening here?"

"Call me Dad." Grey turned to her and sternly lectured her. "You are also getting punished for leaving without saying anything."

"It wasn’t mine or Lia’s... Mom’s fault," Little Hong hesitated before calling Lia mom.

"These people abducted us while we were transforming." Little Hong pointed at the gods around Lia, who were too terrified to move.

"I told them that you will come find us and if you do, all of them will die. But they didn’t listen." Little Hong shrugged her shoulders helplessly.

"But they did manage to find one more Chaos Seal. Maybe you can reconsider letting them go, Dad?"

"Hm." Grey nodded.

"Forgive us," one of the gods spoke in a terrified voice.

They felt like they were looking at their creator.

"Oh great being. Are you the boundless expression that created us? Your divinity surpassed that of the God Empress who took on the mantle of the Primordial God, Pangu."

"The boundless expression? Don’t compare that thing to my father. It is not worthy to be addressed on the same level as my father."

"What?" The gods hearing this couldn’t comprehend Little Hong’s words.
