Chapter 500: Jasmine Missing, Recreating the Spatial Wrapper
Whoosh!
The spaceship tore through the harsh, dense environment of the seventh spatial layer. A protective bubble generated by the spatial wrapper formed around the hull, rapidly pushing them toward the Blue Star based on the spatial data it had been fed.
A day later, a massive crack formed in the fabric of the first layer as the Dragon Monarch spaceship emerged into normal space.
Soon, the Blue Star and its three majestic rings became visible.
The spaceship rapidly shrank as Grey stepped out alongside Little Hong and Lia. Immediately, Valeria and the others appeared to greet them.
"You are back." Valeria heaved a deep sigh of relief upon seeing both Lia and Little Hong safe.
However, the instant she got a good look at Little Hong, she was completely taken aback.
"You grew up?" Valeria asked in sheer surprise.
"I am afraid so." Little Hong nodded calmly. "I will soon turn older than you, Miss Valeria."
"..." Valeria was completely speechless. She had never heard Little Hong speak so maturely before.
From an emotionless machine to a rebel that looked down on everything, and now to a very calm young woman, she had definitely grown up. But the crazy reality was that not even a single year had passed since Little Hong was found.
"You are finally back, Master. I have been hammering random ores daily just as you instructed me," Carter spoke up.
"You are still doing that? I am pretty sure I gave you the Primordial Thousand Refinement Technique."
"Yes, but it is such a profound skill. I still haven’t managed to fully comprehend it. My blacksmithing skills have improved by leaps and bounds, though. Now I can refine a third-tier five-star ore to middle-grade perfection."
"Not bad," Grey replied with an encouraging smile.
Still, he couldn’t comprehend it? Grey, who possessed heaven-defying comprehension, honestly could not understand what this man was struggling with.
The technique was directly derived from Carter’s own foundational methods when Grey first saw him forge. But it seemed that even with all that familiarity, Carter couldn’t comprehend it easily.
Grey couldn’t even tell whether the threshold required to comprehend the Primordial Thousand Refinement Technique was actually high or not. After all, he had learned it in an instant.
It was an incredibly powerful skill. If utilized properly, it could directly crush any established genius, no matter how poor your base talent in blacksmithing was.
"Anyways, let’s head out, shall we?" Grey spoke with a soft smile. "It is high time we went back to my place."
"Your place?" Valeria tilted her head in confusion.
"Looks like you guys don’t check the cosmic internet that often." Grey’s lips twitched. He roughly recounted the creation of the Nexus Domain and just how massive it was.
"But how will we take the Blue Star across such a long distance?" Werner, who was standing by the side, spoke up.
"We can assist, Lord Grey," Kaelith suddenly interjected.
No one had even noticed the god until now, simply because he had completely retracted his aura. The entire galaxy would instantly blow up if he released even a fraction of it.
"No, we have another method." Grey chuckled.
Indeed, with the help of Kaelith and the other 8th rank gods, they could easily reach the Nexus Domain. In fact, with an 8th rank god’s assistance, they could cross the Milky Way in just two days. However, a warp jump was an even faster option.
"We will just store the entire planet inside my Dragon Monarch spaceship."
He snapped his fingers. Immediately, the Dragon Monarch spaceship violently enlarged, expanding until it dwarfed a normal solar system.
"Let’s get the planet tucked in," Grey mumbled as he swept his gaze over his home world.
"Hm? Strange. Where is Jasmine?" Grey inquired. She wasn’t here to greet him, nor could he sense her in her laboratory.
"She left," Valeria answered. "She said that she wanted to travel around the Human Alliance, and then she left without another word."
"Oh." Grey nodded. That definitely sounded like her.
Then, he remembered Eterna. She wasn’t physically with him, but since he had already arrived, he needed to fulfill his promise to retrieve her consciousness, which was currently stored in a fragmented real-time pocket server construct within the local cloud.
He turned to Kaelith and quickly explained the situation.
"Leave it to me," Kaelith said with an accommodating smile. "I will make sure to gather them all."
Kaelith’s divine consciousness instantly spread across the entire Milky Way. Space distorted, and the very next moment, three fragmented pocket server constructs materialized right in front of Grey, who swiftly caught them.
"Then, shall we set off, everyone?" Grey asked with a bright smile.
Within moments, Grey seamlessly transferred the Blue Star into the internal dimension of the Dragon Monarch spaceship.
With a wide grin, he dove his consciousness into the information layer and began forming a complex blueprint. He naturally hadn’t wasted the chance to copy the spatial wrapper’s technical data during their journey.
He swiftly brought the blueprint into reality. A massive warp portal materialized as Grey effortlessly converted the surrounding asteroid belt into the highly refined materials required by the spatial wrapper.
"This level of reality bending... the mecha race’s power over information layer manipulation combined with divine decree." The gods were completely tongue-tied at the sight.
Ordinary mortals might not understand the sheer significance of this feat, but the gods certainly did.
Lia stood among the gods, calmly watching her man assemble a cosmic warp portal from scratch.
"This is the man you tried to harm," Lia spoke calmly. Radiating the absolute authority of the God Empress, she no longer looked like the shy little maiden who had sat quietly in her man’s embrace just hours prior.
"We apologize, Goddess," Kaelith bowed his head. "But he looked and felt like any common mortal man to us. As pure beings, we could not let things like intermarriage with impure mortals exist."
Lia’s lips twitched. In that specific matter, it was honestly Grey’s own fault. He had a terrible habit of intentionally looking like a weak person just to violently shock everyone later.
This habit was something she definitely needed to make him stop.
Soon, the warp portal was fully stabilized. He entered the exact spatial coordinates of the Nexus Domain. Every being with mastery over spatial laws could easily memorize cosmic coordinates; it was second nature to him now. With the destination locked in, the massive ship surged forward and they finally set off.
