Chapter 504: Attending the lecture, spread the word

The instant Grey appeared in the area, others also spawned in with him. Everyone eagerly took a seat in the lecture room. Considering the fact that this was a virtual world, there was no shortage of seats. When more people came, more seats seamlessly appeared.

"The Esper author, how long has it been since he did a lecture? It has been so long."

"Yeah. But the Aether Evolutionary Path has just as much importance."

"It is insane. Even I am having second thoughts about my current one after finding out about it."

"A 5th rank power that can easily match the 6th rank? It is too powerful."

"I have my suspicions that this evolutionary path is from another world."

"It is possible. The newly born Saint is said to be a pathstrider of it as well. He apparently has a master."

"If that is true, then there is a possibility that the new Saint is also a being at the 5th rank of the path, right? No wonder he was strong. That beast he has with him must be something his master gave him as a reward for spreading the path and to protect him."

While everyone discussed, the lecture room suddenly went dark. Seeing this, everyone quieted down, including Grey, to see what the commotion was.

Soon, a man appeared in front of everyone. The man had a blonde beard, blonde hair, and blue eyes. He wore a plain but expensive business suit as if he were attending a formal event.

"Hello everyone," the Esper author, Alan Benson, spoke up. "I thank everyone for arriving at this venue today. We are all scholars here, those who pursue the path of evolution to reach transcendence or even attain our personal goals."

"The path of transcendence was never easy. It is fought with sheer power and destruction. Evolution comes with a price, and that price is destroying your previous self to reach a higher state of power."

"However, there now exists a path that is too good to be true."

"The Aether Evolutionary Path."

"It is unlike anything I have seen before."

"Instead of using mainstream energy as a way to transcend, the author of this path ingeniously incorporated the power of frequency."

"The power of frequency, as one might know, controls the universe. Frequency is everywhere. To be able to tap into that power... this author is no ordinary man."

"I have done complete research on it and its potential. If I am being honest, not even the highest levels of primordial paths can match this one’s power."

"The primordial paths." The scholars exchanged shocked glances.

They were the strongest paths in the cosmos, and you couldn’t readily buy them from the internet like other evolutionary paths. Only top families and prominent figures of the cosmos had them. They were so powerful that even places like the Daoye Palace, the Immortal Sovereign Palace, and even the dragons had to bow to them.

"Is it really that exaggerated?" one of the scholars asked.

"Yes, it is."

"I will give you an example."

"At the transformation stage of the path, everyone knows that they can use a transformation technique to obtain traits that the transformation contains at the twelfth level of the genetic markings."

"Yes. What of it?"

"Most of the time, we lose those traits when we reach the 5th rank. In fact, even if one could use them, their power would not be that significant for the 5th rank."

"However... the 5th rank of the Aether Evolutionary Path not only retains those traits even after forging something known as a source, which I do believe is superior to the concept of an origin core."

"The author of the path systematically dismantled the biological structure of a being using the Event Horizon state, something only this path possesses, to achieve true frequential transformation."

"Now, the 5th rank of this path is very special. Unlike other paths, this one in particular does not require an evolutionary stone to change paths."

"One can directly use the Event Horizon state to achieve the 5th rank as long as you have broken your genetic limiter for the 5th rank."

"Of course, there are cons to that, such as not being able to use the transformative power of the shattering realm and the traits that come with it."

"The traits the author utilized, I believe, are cross-referenced from many popular human transformations with the addition of beast traits."

"What? There are traits of beasts as well?" Everyone wore equally stunned expressions.

"That is right. The author has found a clever way to make all the traits appear even at the 5th rank and even have them amplified using the Dao of Power. Meaning, even at the 5th rank, it will not lose its value."

"Most importantly, this path in particular, if I am not wrong, was a test or rather an experiment of a powerful being. A powerful being combining all three aspects of existence: the body, mind, and energy together to attain perfection."

"And as the creator of the mind power path, I can confirm. This path is a huge success. It takes heavy inspiration from mine, but by the 5th rank, it deviates. It isn’t as complex as my path at the 5th rank. But it doesn’t need to be. Complexity was never my intention when I made the singularity mind realm for the Esper path. It was to achieve transcendence. The author of this path achieved the exact same result with very little effort, all while making sure the three core aspects are still very relevant."

"I just want to say... spread the word. I want to become his disciple."

"What?!" Everyone in the area wore equally stunned expressions on their faces as if they had just swallowed a fly.

What did they just hear? The fabled author of the Esper path was begging to be the disciple of the Aether Evolutionary Path’s author.

"Spread the word. I want it to reach him at all costs. It doesn’t matter if he is not in the world anymore either. If someone can get my words to the new Saint, that will be helpful to me as well. I will personally reward everyone who helps me reach the Aether Evolutionary Path author."

"What the hell..." The scholars were speechless. So the lecture was just to make others aware of things and use them as a way to reach the author of the path!
