Chapter 673: Sea Of Despair? Who is that woman?
Chapter 673: Sea Of Despair? Who is that woman?
One of the Paragon Knights looked upward in disbelief, his expression changing drastically.
"No way..."
He could hardly believe what he was sensing.
"Peak 13th Rank?!"
The entire battlefield fell silent as everyone's attention turned toward Grey.
"Grey!"
Lia, Valeria, Alissa and Jasmine called his name almost simultaneously.
Joestar, Isolde, Lyris, Ouroboros, Elder Tharos, and the others all stared at Grey in stunned silence.
Joestar's expression became especially complicated.
"Unbelievable. He actually broke through the ceiling of the 13th Rank?"
Another Paragon Knight stared at Grey in disbelief.
"How are you using 13th Rank power here in the Endless Reality?"
As for why he could use it; he was Perfection itself.
The restrictions of the Heavenly Dao were not something he needed to obey.
The leader of the Paragon Knights stared at him cautiously.
"Y-You... who are you?"
Grey's expression remained indifferent.
"You don't need to know."
With that, Grey raised one hand.
He then made a simple crushing motion.
BOOM!
The space around the Paragon Knights instantly collapsed.
Their energetic bodies were crushed and destroyed beneath Grey's overwhelming power, one after another.
There was no prolonged battle.
There was no need for an elaborate technique.
Their 13th Rank power was simply unable to resist Grey.
Within moments, only their leader remained.
Grey instantly appeared before him and looked down at him.
"Tell me. How did you manage to use your 13th Rank power here?"
The leader glared at Grey.
"Over my dead body."
Grey's expression became slightly bored.
"Then so be it."
A moment later, the final Paragon Knight was killed.
Silence descended across the entire battlefield.
For days, everyone had struggled against these Paragon Knights, yet they had been unable to defeat them.
Grey, however, had appeared and erased nearly all of them with a single crushing motion.
Everyone stared at him in silence.
Only now did they truly understand how terrifying Grey had become.
He had already stepped beyond the limits they once believed were absolute.
And standing in the middle of the silent battlefield, Grey looked completely calm.
For him, this was nothing more than another obstacle that had appeared along his path.
Grey turned toward the others with a casual smile, looking as though he had not just annihilated an entire group of Paragon Knights.
"Hey, guys. How are you all doing?"
Everyone simply stared at him.
After everything they had just witnessed, Grey's casual greeting left the entire group completely bewildered. The contrast between his relaxed attitude and what he had just done was simply too much for them to process.
Before anyone could respond, Eterna and Aria appeared beside him.
The moment Eterna appeared, several people looked surprised. However, when Aria appeared immediately afterward, their confusion only grew.
Lia, Valeria, and Alissa all stared at the unfamiliar girl.
"Who is she?"
Grey immediately pointed toward Aria with a proud smile.
"She's our new daughter. Yay!"
The entire group fell silent instead of being excited.
Little Hong, who was standing beside Lia, immediately stared at Aria. After observing her for a moment, she quickly moved behind Lia and hid against her while simultaneously shooting a glare at Grey.
Grey became completely speechless.
Meanwhile, Lia, Valeria, and Alissa slowly turned their attention toward Eterna.
Eterna immediately shook her head.
"It's not mine."
The three women visibly relaxed upon hearing this.
Grey watched their reactions before realizing that he should probably explain the situation properly.
"She's my daughter born from the Sea of Despair."
Alissa blinked with visible anger appearing in her face.
"The Sea of Despair? Who is that woman!?"
Grey shook his head.
"It's not a woman. The Sea of Despair is the concept of despair itself, born from the ancient depths of Hell." The person who replied was Ouroboros as she stared Aria with a dumbfounded look on her face.
Everyone at her words stared at Grey with a bewildered look on their faces.
"Yes, I kind of went to Hell for a bit." Grey said with a helpless smile on his face.
The bewilderment on everyone's faces only became stronger.
Seeing their reactions, Grey began explaining what had happened.
"My power leaked into the Sea of Despair, eventually causing it to give birth to the Embodiment of Despair. After confronting her, I cleansed the corruption and despair that had infected her existence."
"From that process, Aria was born."
"As a result, she also transformed into a being of Fate, becoming a member of the Fate Race."
By the time Grey finished explaining everything, the entire group was left speechless.
Some were confused because they didn't know what the Fate Race but those who knew were without a doubt shocked.
The sheer absurdity of the explanation was difficult to process.
Grey had gone to Hell, his power had somehow leaked into the Sea of Despair, that power had created an Embodiment of Despair, and after Grey cleansed her, that existence had somehow given birth to Aria, who had ultimately become a member of the Fate Race.
Even by Grey's standards, it was an absurd story.
Aria, meanwhile, simply stood nearby with her arms crossed, quietly observing everyone. She had no intention of explaining anything herself and seemed perfectly content to let Grey handle the situation.
After a moment, Joestar finally broke the silence.
"Wait, Grey."
He looked toward Aria with a serious expression.
"How strong is she?"
Grey glanced toward Aria before smiling.
"You can stop hiding your strength now."
Hearing this, Aria uncrossed her arms.
The moment she released her aura, an overwhelming pressure instantly descended upon the entire Nexus Universe.
BOOM!
The surrounding space trembled violently as a boundless aura spread across the world.
Everyone's expressions changed.
Their bodies instinctively tensed under the terrifying pressure, and even the strongest among them could clearly sense the level of power being released.
13th Rank.
There was no mistaking it.
Joestar's eyes widened as he stared at Aria.
Lia, Valeria, Alissa, Ouroboros, Lyris, Isolde, Elder Tharos, Kaelith, and everyone else present looked toward the young girl in disbelief.
"13th Rank..."
Someone muttered the words under their breath.
The entire battlefield fell silent once again.
After everything they had witnessed from Grey, everyone had thought his strength was already incomprehensible.
Yet now, another existence standing at the 13th Rank had appeared beside him.
What was even more shocking was that Aria had apparently been hiding her true strength this entire time and she was supposedly just a new born!
As everyone looked between Grey and Aria, the same thought gradually emerged in their minds.
Was reaching the 13th Rank really this easy?
