Chapter 5895: Eight Pillars Seal the Heavens

Though the explosion had damaged his eye, it had bought him enough time to counterattack. His lightning sword transformed into a massive blade as he swung it at Liu Minghao.

Liu Minghao’s right hand was shaking. That previous attack had numbed his arm completely—Qifeng saw his opportunity and struck.

But Liu Minghao remained unfazed. With only one hand, he formed a seal. A flickering flame ignited on his fingertip, and he flicked it at the incoming sword.

Just before contact, the flame exploded, forming a vortex the size of a fist. The sword was caught in its pull and started to tremble violently.

Qifeng’s expression changed. Just the slightest pull had caused his sword to go out of control. He was unable to lock Liu Minghao down now.

Liu Minghao slipped past the sword’s arc and slammed his palm into Qifeng’s chest.

Although Qifeng tried to form a lightning chestplate in time, blood still sprayed from his mouth as he was blown back.

As Qifeng spat out blood, Liu Minghao regained feeling in his arm. Without hesitation, he formed hand seals again.

He shouted, “Nine Willow High Heaven Deathblow!”

Behind him, his manifestation appeared. Countless willow branches burst forth, sealing off heaven and earth. In an instant, they formed a giant cocoon around Qifeng.

When the cocoon was complete, the Undying race’s warriors cheered wildly. This was Liu Minghao’s finishing move—if it succeeded, the battle was as good as over.

The cocoon started to rapidly shrink in an attempt to crush Qifeng to a pulp. However, just then, they saw lightning appear through the cracks in the cocoon.
