Chapter 6375 Defeated Cang Lu

Chapter 6375 Defeated Cang Lu

Evilmoon was unleashing unprecedented power. The astral energy that Long Chen could not control on his own now poured entirely into Evilmoon.

A blood-colored saber image streaked with starlight split the world apart, and Cang Lu could only stare at it in horror.

It all happened so suddenly. Just as he thought victory was in his grasp and he could kill Long Chen like stepping on an ant, that “ant” transformed into a giant dragon. Evilmoon and Long Chen’s combined might instantly drowned out everything he possessed.

Cang Lu instinctively poured all his strength into the Bloodfiend Halberd. As his dark energy erupted without restraint, the weapon howled as though fully awakened.

BOOM!

The heavens split open, and the earth crumbled. It was as if the apocalypse had arrived. Spacetime itself shattered, fracturing into countless spatial channels.

The world around them was completely destroyed. Divine light flashed chaotically.

From that ruin, a battered figure flew out—it was Long Chen. He coughed up blood, his face pale as paper. While his manifestation had vanished and his aura was extremely weak, his gaze remained locked firmly ahead.

A streak of black light suddenly shot out. Long Chen snorted coldly, and a vine lashed forth, wrapping around it.

That was Cang Lu’s divine weapon, the Bloodfiend Halberd. But now, it was covered in cracks, almost destroyed by Evilmoon’s blow. The weapon had actually abandoned its master and attempted to flee.

But Long Chen had been waiting.

The Bloodfiend Halberd quivered violently, shattering the vine restraining it. Yet with each break, more vines surged forth. For every vine it destroyed, two more coiled around it.

At last, the damaged weapon was bound tightly, powerless to resist. It was dragged into the primal chaos space, where it trembled in terror and froze completely.

The chaotic qi currents gradually faded. Petals shielded Long Chen as he stepped back into the ravaged battlefield.

The laws of space here had already been completely destroyed. Spatial blades spun madly, sharp enough to reduce any expert with 998 Sovereign flames to dust.

Yet, those blades shattered harmlessly against Evilmoon’s petals.

“That was satisfying! It feels incredible to finally unleash all my power!” Evilmoon’s excited voice rang in Long Chen’s mind.

When the seven astral gates merged with the Starry Sky Battle Robe, the force released could only be described as apocalyptic. Even Long Chen feared it. But to his surprise, Evilmoon could endure the immense astral energy that even he couldn’t control.

The battlefield’s center remained a twisting void where up and down no longer existed.

At last, Long Chen spotted a figure sprawled within the chaos—Cang Lu.

Both his arms were gone, and countless black threads surrounded his body, as if striving to cocoon him.

“You want to undergo another nirvanic rebirth?” Long Chen sneered.

“Oh, I didn’t think he would survive that attack. These black threads contain pure dark energy. That’s good stuff!” exclaimed Evilmoon.

Evilmoon had assumed that blow would reduce Cang Lu to dust. Yet against all odds, he still possessed the power to reincarnate.

Black qi flowed along these threads and exuded a terrifying curse energy. Long Chen wouldn’t dare to touch them lightly, but Evilmoon wasn’t afraid of them.

This time, however, Evilmoon seemed to have learned its lesson. It did not immediately lunge to absorb the energy, instead waiting for Long Chen’s command.

Long Chen maintained some distance from Cang Lu. Those black threads were terrifying and were definitely lethal to him.

Staring closer, he realized they all originated from Cang Lu’s abdomen. There, a spider-like rune pulsed faintly. As Long Chen focused on it, his pupils suddenly contracted.

“A Supreme Bone!”

Long Chen was surprised. Cang Lu also had a Supreme Bone. But unlike his own, this one was pitch black, saturated with an ominous power.

Long Chen quickly understood. That was why Cang Lu had survived Evilmoon’s strike. The Supreme Bone bore countless dim divine runes, each one emanating a Sovereign’s aura and will.

“In the Divine Sovereign realm, he carved his strongest divine abilities directly onto his Supreme Bone,” Long Chen muttered. “He used it as the medium to unleash them.”

In that instant, a new world opened before his eyes. He too had a Supreme Bone. Could he adopt the same method?

The Earth Cauldron replied, “That’s right. Cang Lu’s Sovereign runes were carved onto his Supreme Bone. Unfortunately for him, he is now restricted to the Human Emperor realm and couldn’t use those Sovereign runes. This battle was truly sullen for him. This battle has been agonizing for him. Without those restrictions, the outcome might not have been so certain.”

Long Chen couldn’t help being shocked. Cang Lu was truly powerful. He had so many divine abilities but had been unable to use them.

However, Long Chen was not so kindhearted as to wait to give Cang Lu a fair fight. He had Evilmoon absorb those black threads.

“Hey, hey, are you planning on killing him?” asked the Earth Cauldron suddenly.

“What? He refused to call me Daddy, so why should I spare him?” asked Long Chen in confusion.

The Earth Cauldron sighed. “Fool. Where have your brains gone? Cang Lu is a Dark Son with a Supreme Bone. Refine him into a puppet. Not only will he be powerful, he’ll continue to grow. You’d really discard such a fighter? Isn’t that a waste?”

“Refine him into a puppet?” Long Chen asked, frowning. “But he carries the Dark Master’s will. Wouldn’t that will kill me?”

In the past, Long Chen had dismissed the Dark Master’s name. Now, however, he knew the truth: that being was on the same level as the Nine Star Master. He couldn’t afford to take it lightly.

“Don’t you have the blood curse art that the green parrot taught you? Its origins are extraordinary. Why do you think I would go to such lengths to obtain it?” said the Earth Cauldron.

“The Heavenly Soul Blood Curse? Will that really work?” Long Chen asked, his interest piqued.

“Of course. That green parrot is the famous Six... six... Well, just trust me.” The Earth Cauldron suddenly stuttered and swallowed some of its words.

Hearing that, Long Chen decided to try it out.
