Chapter 333. A Guest?
Chapter 333. A Guest?
Within a certain villa on the suburbs of a quiet town, a beautiful lady with long blonde hair tied in a braid and a curvaceous figure was preparing for dinner alone.
She wore a black nightgown that hugged her voluptuous curves while showcasing her pale skin. It was a sleeveless nightgown with a V-neck, revealing a fair amount of cleavage.
The woman hummed as she went about the kitchen, chopping up ingredients, mixing together some sauces, and setting the stove.
She loved cooking and always found herself smiling when working in the kitchen. There was just something about being surrounded by good-tasting smells and sounds of bubbling sauces that made her feel satisfied with life.
Just as she finished preparing the ingredients, a doorbell rang.
"A guest? Now? How unusual... Or maybe Brenda returned from hanging out with her friends?" The woman frowned at first but soon guessed who was outside and relaxed again.
Then she headed towards the door, wiping her hands on a handkerchief as she walked. When she opened the door, however...
"Huh?! Mitchell?!" The woman was stunned by the sight of her husband in front of her.
The man standing before her was not a handsome guy per se, though not bad-looking either. He looked more like an average man in his forties with a slight potbelly but still looked good overall.
But his appearance was nowhere near as important as the person itself. Because this man in particular had been living away from home for half a year now due to work-related business.
Which was not a rare occurrence. Since she knew he had a woman outside and spent his time with her. He only visited the house for a day or two every few weeks or so, and his stay never seemed to have any particular meaning.
However, this time was different. He didn't come home for almost half a year. Not even once. So his return home right now felt really odd to her.
"Yes. It's me, Linda." The man smiled at her. "Sorry for coming so late without prior notice. But we just got off the plane and drove straight home."
As he said this, the woman, Linda, noticed another person standing beside him.
And this person was the complete opposite of the first one. His age was around mid-twenties; he was tall and lean but with enough muscles, with short blonde hair and green eyes.
He wore black suit pants with a light blue shirt and a white tie. He seemed like an important person. But the fact that he was with her husband left Linda confused.
"A guest? This late at night?" Linda glanced back and forth between the two men. Yet, she welcomed them in anyway, letting the men into her house. "Please, come in. I'm making dinner right now. Do you two care for some?"
"Yes, of course, thank you very much for your hospitality." The young man nodded and stepped into the house. "Oh, I forgot to introduce myself; I'm Kane Silver. I'm Mr. Mitchell's associate. Nice to meet you."
He held out his hand for her to shake, which she accepted. Though she didn't like the way his eyes lingered on her body, undressing her with his gaze. She knew a lecherous man when she saw one. And this one was the type of man she didn't like at all.
A type of man that would act all gentleman on the surface but had filthy minds on the inside. They thought nothing of degrading a woman just because they were powerful. They were the kind of guys that always made her sick and disgusted.
Yet, she kept up with the charade. And her smile did not falter. "Nice to meet you too, Mr. Silver. I'm Linda, Mitchell's wife. Feel free to relax in the living room. I shall serve you both some refreshments."
Mitchell, however, shook his head at his wife. "No need. I already brought some drinks for us. Just bring us two glasses, please."
"Very well. I shall be back shortly." Linda said, then excused herself to fetch the glasses while leaving the two men behind.
Mitchell guided Kane to the living room and gestured for him to take a seat on one of the sofas. When Kane did as instructed, Mitchell sat next to him.
Then the older man looked at Kane with a smile. "I'm very sorry for the inconvenience, Mr. Kane. I hope you won't mind spending the night here. I promise I'll arrange a hotel room for you tomorrow morning."
"There's no problem at all, Mr. Mitchell." Kane reassured him, not bothered at all. "I just hope your wife doesn't mind the unexpected arrival of our company."
Mitchell laughed a bit before answering. "Haha, don't worry. She won't mind. I told you that she's a very good woman. And she loves having guests over."
Just then, Linda returned with two glasses in hand. She placed them on the table in front of Kane and Mitchell and proceeded to leave once again.
Kane watched her from the corner of his eye, noticing how her breasts bounced when she moved, how her butt swayed as she walked away, and how smooth and supple her thighs looked.
It was very tempting to just pounce at her and tear her clothes off right then and there. To ravish her, take her, and make her scream and cry his name over and over in front of her husband. The idea was tantalizing.
Meanwhile, Mitchell had grabbed the two glasses and poured some whiskey in them without realizing that Kane's attention was elsewhere.
He was just too engrossed in thoughts of pleasing his boss' son and hoping to get a good promotion. Because if he succeeded, everything else in life would be a breeze.
As he handed Kane his glass of whiskey, Mitchell spoke with a nervous voice, "I really hope I don't disappoint you, Mr. Kane. If there's anything you need or want from me, please don't hesitate to let me know. I'll do my very best to satisfy you."
Kane smirked as he accepted the glass. "Don't worry, Mr. Mitchell. I believe in you." He then raised the whiskey to his mouth and drank it all in one gulp. 'Besides, I know very well how to satisfy myself tonight.'
