Chapter 2201 Revisit -Part 6
"Eh, it's fine. Things will probably sort by themselves when it comes to that." Vishnu said as he too decided not to talk about it too much. At that point, Jin did not know if the God of Preservation was trying to use reverse psychology against him but his body language as well as his matter of tone did not feel that way.
Jin wanted to ask 'You sure?" to Vishnu, showing how badly scarred he was when came to handling things that had been thrown to him most of the time but simultaneously, Jin did not wish to look as if he was joking. He honestly did not want to handle such problems any more than he could and the dungeon supplier wished to keep things as status quo for now.
Clear the existing problems he had in his home world, prepare for the villain portion of the Mecha World's universe and ultimately open shop in the Celestial Plane. And while he too had two more existing shop expansions planned in his home world, they did not seem as crucial as the Celestial plane in his opinion.
After all, the contract had stated that he had a year to get it done and he believed he was able to construct the shop expansions within a week or so, depending on the amount of resources he wished to throw into the mix.
Of course, expanding in his home world was also something that would generate popularity and revenue but the gross profit could not be comparable to the expansion in the Celestial Plane. Besides, who knows? Maybe once Baal regains his former status as one of the Duke of Hell, there might be a chance he could also open a store in the Hell Plane as well.
And those two planes' currency would definitely result in a lot of Dungeon Dollars. From what Jin heard from the System, the two bellators had spent approximately close to five thousand dungeon dollars just by staying in the Celestial Planes in order to find Jin's body which it had yet to be disclosed on how the bellators were able to find his body. Not to mention, those places they stayed were not exactly the most luxurious of places. It is just that the value of their currency was so strong that the System had to invest this much to keep them fed and a shelter above their heads.
"Alright, thank you Vishnu for not involving me in the problem." Jin politely thanked him and decided to pretend to be distracted with other documents on his table but it seems Siddhartha Buddha did not take the hint properly.
"King Jin, although this might be something you do not need to be involved but with the matter at hand shows that you need to know a little bit about it." The Buddha said. "After all, if you are able to provide some assistance with this problem, it will definitely improve your chances with not just the Celestial Plane but the Hell Plane as well."
"…I will just take the recommendation letter that Kalki prepared." Jin realised that this was a slippery slope which he needed to avoid. Otherwise, it would get worse but Vishnu came into the picture almost immediately as if to lecture his fellow Avatar that there was no need to get him involved.
"This is a matter of the Celestials and Demons. Even if Jin did not wish to participate in this right now, it will eventually come right to him since I am currently partnering with him to smooth things out." Vishnu said so bluntly that Jin had forgotten that Vishnu was under his control. The dungeon supplier believed he can release the seal that had been placed on the card in order to release Vishnu but that would also mean that Vishnu can do whatever the fuck he wants, including making Jin lose that recommendation letter in a blink of an eye.
And what he said was true as well. Even if Jin did not want to participate right now, he would sooner or later be entangled by this whole fiasco because Vishnu was under his supposed control. There was no way he could get out of it unless he removed Vishnu out of his control or himself out of the equation.
"This feels like Duke Baal, the System and this Atopia trial all over again. Me and my big mouth." Jin blurted out and Vishnu could sense that Jin had already understood the consequences of keeping the God of Preservation under his care. Enjoy more content from empire
"But like I said, you can not care about it right now," Vishnu said with a sly smile and a shrug to accompany it. "When the time is right, we can talk about it."
"Fine, fine. Just tell me the necessary details perhaps in a paragraph or less. I really do not want to know too much about it." Jin finally decided to drop the case and hear what they had to say but Siddhartha Buddha had to throw a curveball into the conversation.
"Sire, are you not going to return to Celestial Plane with us?"
"Is Matsya not able to handle the things?" Vishnu asked and figured that Buddha might have some other motive. It was as if the Celestial Healer suddenly felt that this might not be the right time to talk about the issue.
"He does, but he handled it way too well that the other gods were wondering if you are going somewhere to slack again. They demanded your presence multiple times."
"Just say that I am still doing this ongoing investigation then. They will not bother me if you say that."
"Sigh…and here we are with the mess that you created. It is precisely because of
this investigation
which is why they want your holy presence. Matsya cannot last long by himself if you do not wish to appear. Things will get suspicious," Buddha said as he looked at Jin for a moment before returning his gaze to his Lord, hinting to him that it was better to tell the truth to the King of Ress.
"Then let it be. After all, we all know why I had been avoiding them for a reason." Vishnu said as he nodded to Buddha, believing that Jin should be able to handle the truth.
