Chapter 3047: Another Change in Avalon

Before the elders could stop Adrian, he has already given the territory core the Storm Cloud Ravine Dungeon Core. The territory core wiggled like liquid as it greedily devoured the dungeon core. Adrian also dispelled the spells that suspended time, space, and force on the dungeon core but he did not really need to do that.

The Avalon Territory Core has already transformed into something that can dissolve even divine energy. The Avalon Territory Core has already come close to a core that is made using chaos energy. Due to its body almost being made of chaos energy, the potency of how it can break down magic cores has already become 100%. It is also the reason why the entire territory is actually gaining more benefits than disadvantages.

The Avalon Territory Core could only process about 80% to 90% of the energy inside a monster’s magic core but it can now process the energies fully. The reason why it now burns more resources than before is due to the fact that it can now utilize everything it could. The Avalon Territory Core has already gained some sentience and deliberately reduced its process because it would lose more and burn more resources if it activated at full capacity.

The fact that the Avalon Territory Core did not work at full capacity before is due to its low grade. Now that the Avalon Territory Core has become more powerful, it can now activate at full capacity which made it burn more monster magic cores. This is not without benefit as all those that visit Avalon recover 50% much faster than before.

Another benefit is that the air and land became more stable that even the Tree of Life and Death are praising it. The best benefit that all of the people that visit is that the benefits of Avalon do not leave immediately after they leave. They can actually have the buff for the extension of 1 hour even after they leave which is not possible in other territories unless they are a kingdom in terms of power.

Unlike other territory buffs, Avalon’s buffs are all related to life and death because of the Tree of Life and Death placed here. Other islands can also give buffs depending on their constitution but the major buffs are what every player wants. Increased health and mana regeneration plus reduced death penalty time is not something that players cannot pass off.

Adrian shuddered at the notification that appeared before him becaue it was a big matter. For the next five weeks, he did not need to feed the dungeon core energy from monster magic cores anymore. This would mean that he will have saved up a sum of money because of it.

"I should still buy some monster magic cores but the bulk can be reduced for the next five weeks. I should give Piggy Bank a heads up." Adrian muttered as he gave a whisper to Piggy Bank about the next five weeks.

[Piggy Bank: No worries, my good friend. Having them in our commerce guild vault will not take space up anyways. I will just keep them here and wait for you to buy them again.]

"Brat! Why are you smiling by yourself! It is giving us the creeps!" Elder Ascalor shouted which made Adrian jump from the sudden scare a bit.

"Give the boy some grace as something good must have happened. He only makes that face when it has great benefit to him or this territory." Elder Koronn stated as he already knows all of the facial expressions that Adrian uses due to extensive observation.

"Give the kid some slack as Koronn said. Something must have happened that gave him such happy feet." Elder Bronx added.

"Sorry, the core just gave me some messages that made me smile. We would not need to feed it monster magic cores for the next five weeks because the Storm Cloud Ravine Dungeon Core would supply that itself." Adrian honestly told them which actually made the elders shudder.

"It has that much energy?! The Avalon Territory Core is a money pit that costs 10,000 gold a day to keep it running optimally." Elder Ascalor added as he knows how much the territory core burns in money.

"Does it have the same energy as a few millions of year-old sun? How can such a small thing pack that much energy? Making it explode would actually destroy the entire area within the next hundred miles." Elder Koronn stated.

"Ascalor, close your mouth because it has been opened due to you celebrating that money will be saved. Koronn, do not have such dangerous things about dungeon cores. This one might have just been special as it is one from a forbidden zone. A normal dungeon core would surely have less energy." Elder Bronx warned.

"What the elders says does have merit but I cannot test that out. I do not even know if other players have also got a dungeon core as a dropped material. It is not like all of the dungeons will drop a dungeon core from now on. Still, if a dungeon core can power Avalon, then it is worth investing in them or other materials that are close to it. The core has become something vastly different than what it originally is which means the items it could be fed must have increased as well." Adrian thought as his thinking was broken by another set of notifications.

[Small changes have also appeared in your territory.]

"Elders, it seems that some changes happened outside because of the territory core absorbing the properties of the dungeon core. Please come with me outside to verify and scan everything." Adrian stated calmly as having a rattled expression might invite the dissatisfaction of the elders but they were still on guard as they vanished from the core room.

Adrian appeared on top of the largest island where the Tree of Life and Death is rooted. The small changes that were notified to him is not something that small at all. The entire area around the floating islands actually became a luscious sea of clouds that looked like plump marshmallows. The clouds were plump but they were also considered within the boundary of the territory as if they have become part of it.

"The sea of clouds around the territory has been marked as a special territory. This means that everything around has become Avalon’s territory. How can a territory actually claim boundary of a sky? This is something that I must research!" Elder Koronn shouted as he was about to jump into the sea of clouds but the other two elders held him back.

"The air has become purer than ever as well. It was already pure because of the Tree of Life and Death but it somehow increased in quality." Elder Bronx stated but Adrian was not listening as Altum gave him a message because he noticed something from the large lake below Avalon.

[Altum: Guild Leader, did you place a barrier that makes Avalon not be noticed in the sky? The area above has has become covered in clouds that Avalon vanished from sight. Or did you teleport the entire territory?]

[Equinox: I did no such thing. The territory is still sitting on top of the lake. This is a new security feature of the territory because I fed the core something good.]

[Altum: Awesome! I will tell the group chat but you should make the territory visible again. The people waiting on the teleportation circle suddenly panicked because they could not see the territory.]

[Equinox: I will find a way. I was just testing things for now. Calm them down first.]

Adrian replied that he will take care of it but he did not know how. He was also blind in this which is why he decided to tell the elders about it first. The elders told him that he should find out right now as Atmospheric Control is already at the realm of gods based on them. It was basically controlling a part of the world to your desired result which only gods should only be able to do.
