Chapter 3065: Incomplete Asag II

It seems that Apolaki’s excessive attack from earlier that wiped off the entire living beings in the second floor was a blessing in disguise. If he just casually killed off most of the living being there then there might have been a chance that those things will be summoned towards the Asag. Based on the notifications that they received, the Asag is not only incomplete but also missing some of its firepower.

What Adrian liked the most is that the notification specified that the Asag cannot use some of the laws that it usually has power over. This means that they are basically fighting a lesser god with the power of a demigod. If the Asag’s powerful attacks are actually in a sealed state for now then Adrian and the others are basically able to contend with it even if there are only four of them.

"This is a chance. With my soulbounds and my limit break, it might not be impossible even if the Asag gets transformed once more." Adrian thought but the Asag suddenly felt helpless that parts of its body have been turned to nothing.

"THIS CANNOT BE! I AM THE ONE THAT TORTURES, YOU LOWLY MORTALS!" The Asag screamed as the two mouths on its chest suddenly opened and started spewing soil.

The soil that the two more mouths spewed out did not take long to pile up. Adrian and the others do not know what is happening but they can feel the divine energy in that very soul. The Asag was trying to do something and they could not even more. All they could do is run their mouths but the Asag is not even paying attention to them.

"LAW OF THE LAND! BIND THEM!" The Asag shouted as all four of them were swallowed by the pile of soil that the Asag spewed out.

All of them received damage but it was not enough to really do heavy damage to them. Adrian finally thought that they could now move that they have been damaged by the Asag. What he did not expect is that he would be in another form of being bound.

Adrian along with Tala and Bunn Bunn could be seen covered in soil with only their heads popping out. The ones that were not bound could be seen swept away from the area they were in. If the force earlier was invisible and held them down then this time it had a physical form with it being very irritating to the body.

[You have been bound by the Law of the Land cast by the Asag.]

[All movements have been hindered except for the mouth but you cannot use any mana or energy.]

[All skills are currently sealed and you cannot be freed unless the Asag changes its form.]

[You will receive 0.1% of your health as damage per minute while bound.]

[You cannot be damaged by external stimuli nor be cleansed from your position.]

[Those bound by the Law of the Land: Division cannot be bound to it for another day.]

Adrian could see that this might be the way for the Asag to actually defeat them. If Adrian was confident that the four of them plus his soulbounds could defeat the Asag then it now makes him question if only two of them can. He does not underestimate Apolaki and Maya but only one of them is a demigod. The binding is also not permanent as long as Apolaki and Maya could force the Asag to go into its next state then they would be able to break free.

"Apolaki and Maya! Do your best!" Adrian shouted as he could not really do anything but cheer.

"Bunn Bun, you should cheer for them too! Go, big cousins!" Tala shouted with Bunn Bunn also following since he is stuck at the same situation as Tala since they are of one soul.

The Law of the Land: Division is something that targets the soul which is why both Tala and Bunn are bound and Adrian cannot summon his soulbounds. This is the power of law as it does not necessarily target the physical body as it could target the souls as well. This is why the Gods of Life and Death are never given access in the mortal world to wield their law as they could outright kill anyone if they wanted to.

"Do not worry cousins! I shall finish this thing!" Apolaki shouted as he blasted his way out of the pile of soil.

Apolaki’s body could be seen glowing in a radiant light as he is now in a form that maximizes all of his power. He did not come out immediately earlier because he has been preparing this when he realized that Adrian could not move. He knew that he had to carry the burden this time as he is the more powerful of the two that can still move.

"Adlaw’s Incarnation!" Apolaki shouted as his body slowly started to fully ignite into sunfire.

Apolaki’s form is currently the same as the one that appeared when he burned everything to ashes on the second floor. The only difference this time is that it is more stable as it did not blast an entire floor into nothing and is just centered around him. This must be the skill he got when he became a demigod that has the qualifications to become a lesser god with steady training.

Apolaki could be seen wielding the bolo and kris which have actually become divine weapons. He could usually only wield one at a time but his current form is that of a demigod reaching the strength of a lesser god. It no longer strained his body wielding two divine weapons at once.

The Asag realized that the other demigod was actually another eyesore but fire cannot hurt it that much. It was a being that has the power and strength of a mountain after all. Mere sunlight cannot harm a mountain standing tall which is why the Asag is confident and met Apolaki head on.
