Chapter 1903: Chapter 1895: A Galatic Impact
Seven days later...
-----
"Hold up!"
Su Mei walked the halls of the Original Dawn Palace holding half a dozen thick scrolls that exuded a distinct spiritual light. She was no longer within her simplistic attire, returning to the valiant garb of light armor, greaves, and bracers, her saber's scabbard hanging from her waist. The only thing that had remained unchanged was her hairstyle.
She stopped, turning her head back to see Wei Xiaotian. The Shard of Heaven was out of breath as she ran toward her.
"Hah! Hah! Hah!" Wei Xiaotian arrived beside Su Mei with haggard breathing and a hunched posture, peering through the sweat streaks. "Hah...Hah...Sister Mei. You...did it...hah...hah...work?" She struggled to get her words through.
She was wearing form-fitting clothing, a pair of black leggings, and a skin-tight crop top that was designed with physical training in mind, especially for intense movements.
Su Mei blinked. "It did. Your martial training seems to be going well."
"Well? Hah," Wei Xiaotian eked out a desperate laugh containing some self-ridicule. She took a few breaths to regulate herself, and after doing so, she lifted herself with two hands on her hips, "Mister Fangs and Claws is trying to murder me."
Su Mei dismissed her complaints, "Out of all of the Prime Ascendants, Zuhei has the greatest raw martial talent. Lord Wei has admitted on multiple occasions that Zuhei's martial potential is higher than his."
Wei Xiaotian pouted her lips, "Only when it comes to killing."
Su Mei nodded, "Killing is quintessential to cultivation. Battles for opportunities are rarely without lethal conflict. And defeat leads to grudges, which can lead to revenge, and to eliminate all future problems for yourself and those you care for, one must be willing to kill all your enemies."
Wei Xiaotian didn't argue on this point. She had spent the majority of her initial years exploring the depths of mortal struggles, and she was keenly aware that slaughter was intimately involved with cultivation, including scheming and risk assessment.
"Did he like the design of my outfit? Any opinions?" Wei Xiaotian was more interested in Wei Wuyin's reaction than her own torturous training sessions.
Su Mei was as concise as ever, "He gave it the highest praise. No other opinions."
Wei Xiaotian sighed with relief. She gazed at Su Mei curiously, especially her legs.
"No. We did not have coitus," she answered Wei Xiaotian's unasked question.
Wei Xiaotian's expression exposed her disappointment. "I'm worried that recent developments have destroyed Wei Wuyin's drive for intimacy. Haaaa."
"What makes you say that?" Wei Xiaotian was unaware of Wei Wuyin's past. He was an avid enjoyer of the female body, and she had assisted during their Scarlet Solaris Sect days in facilitating these relationships. The man was brave, direct, and pursued what he wanted without regrets.
Wei Xiaotian wiped the lingering sweat from her forehead, "I've heard of his past, but he had given me his spark of realization. "Is it the situation with those Catalyst Bodies? With Yue Songli?"
Su Mei gazed at her, a tinge of shock in her eyes. "What are you talking about?" Then, she was given a spark of realization. "Is it the situation with those Catalyst Bodies? With Yue Songli?" Ɽа₦öBĘṦ
Wei Xiaotian sighed, leaning against the wall in defeat, seemingly blaming herself. "Two outrageously gorgeous women. I know that he had grown another due to the specialness of his body, but...I just hope I'm not one of the causes for his decreased drive."
Wei Wuyin was inactive sexually. He didn't neglect Cao Cuifen or Liu Suyin, often Void Portalling them directly to him, and they would disappear for a few days as a result. She was keenly aware of this fact.
Realizing that Wei Xiaotian was worried about the wrong thing, "Catalyst Bodies are best used post-ascension, after one's fundamental foundation has solidified and become realized. This is the general consensus, no?"
"Yeah," Wei Xiaotian thoughtlessly agreed. She was familiar with the secrets of Catalyst Bodies.
"Well, Lord Wei has yet to step out of the first stage of the Mystic Ascendant Realm. And I can tell you this: his foundation has yet to reach its limit." Su Mei informed, before adding: "Thank you for your beautiful outfit and styling of my hair. If not for Yue Songli's situation, there's little doubt that we would have been intimate, as he was readily aroused and in good spirits for your training regimen by several levels."
Wei Xiaotian was taken aback, and then her expression grew pale. She sensed a predatory aura pulse from behind her, causing her entire body to grow taut out of reflex. She was mixed with pride, fear, and shock. In the end, she swiftly bowed in thanks before fleeing back to the secret realm.
Su Mei watched as she skedaddled back with a faint smile. Were all her actions done out of guilt and concern? She was ignorant of his cultivation? Su Mei didn't quite believe that. This girl was hiding her true motives, pushing him to find him after the auction at all costs. However, her intent was clearly out of love and concern.
Suddenly, a shadow of a phoenix's bust and pillar in the hall wiggled slightly, almost imperceptibly so.
Su Mei asked, "Report?"
The shadow twisted slightly. A wad of blackness slowly protruded out as a mesh of shadowy visages of humans, beasts, objects such as trees, bushes, and mountains, all intermixed with each other into a single cohesive whole.
A series of unintelligible words was spoken, clearly a secret code language.
Su Mei nodded, "Keep monitoring Su Yi and the Shard of Heaven."
Then, the visages of shadows were on the verge of reintegration when it halted. Then, a short set of unintelligible words resounded.
Su Mei frowned, "Primeval Athenaeum? I'll look into it."
The visages of shadows merged back into a two-dimensional existence. It was unknown whether the shadow had left or not. However, there was no indication of any irregularities.
Su Mei carried her scrolls and returned to the control center of the Neo Zenith Tower. She was handling the affairs and discussing deals of distribution, transportation, and pricing for the Neo-Dawn Alchemic Lineage's specialty products. They were already receiving numerous orders of intent, seeking to secure yearly supplies, especially towards one of the unveiled Neo-Dawn Heavenly-Origin Paste.
However, the Primeval Athenaeum swung on her mind. This library of ancient lore and unfathomably profound knowledge...there was a possibility that it would reappear within the coming years. The location, however, was rumored to be the Treasured Vale Galaxy...their next destination.
-----
"I FEEL SO FULL! SO AMAZINGLY FULL!!" Ori shouted to the high heavens with a voice rife with glee.
Wei Wuyin stretched his arms out as he sat there with his legs crossed legs. Four Externalized Astral Souls floated around him energetically, exuding resplendent spiritual light after fully digesting a hoard of peak-perfection products. They had once again maximized their foundational limits, allowing him to leap yet again in comprehensive strength.
He was taken aback by how long it took, calculating that the Eye of Samsara had expanded their foundational limits by 10% to 12%. This was a tremendous boon, indescribably massive given his already incredible foundation. Not only had this directly improved his innate physical, mental, and essence energies, but his bloodline energy, and Spiritual Samsara Energy had been explosively increased in all aspects.
There was no longer a doubt that his Spiritual Samsara Energy which could act as a substitute for his Soul Energy was stronger. This was expected, yet he couldn't help but sigh. Four souls are better than one. While four was better than one, seven souls were better than four!
Thinking like this, he couldn't resist laughing aloud. While four was better than one, seven souls were better than four!
Exiting out of the accelerated zone, Wei Wuyin circulated his various innate energies, ensuring each of his Mystic Cores was full of Mystic Force, and cycled through his Celestial Eyes of Spiritual Divinity's spiritual formation, all five of them. Then, he inspected each Major Authority.
They were born from mutated Minor Authorities after the strange quad-split during his ascension. These Major Authorities weren't ordinary, but Wei Wuyin didn't have any way to compare the difference until he met those who wielded a Major Authority of the same type.
After undergoing Draconic Transformation and Draconic Ascension, he felt confident that his condition was at its peak. Sending a transmission via his Void Ring, he double-checked all the incoming transmissions.
One of them belonged to Hong Xuannu. She spoke respectfully, and she sought a meeting. He wasn't too interested in dealing with that at the moment.
As for Dongfang Yue, this woman who was 100% certain he was a Mystic Star Phase cultivator who was younger than two hundred years old, was a little difficult to handle. She wanted him to buy her out of her Mythical Contract with the Zenith Refinement Tower.
The price for that was...
...insane.
He decided to think about it, especially since she only implied joining his empire, unwilling to establish a contract again for loyalty.
The only other issue was the Seven Towers of the Heavenly Sages. After all, Wei Wuyin had openly declared that he had ordered the deaths of two Heavenly Alchemic Saints. Shockingly, due to a technicality, the price he had to pay for a fine was reduced to a humiliating amount.
In the eyes of the Zeniths, neither Heaven-Saint Gloomdark nor Heaven-Saint Gloomdark was officially a part of the core Alchemic Dao of the Utmost Purity Galaxy as Heavenly Saint Alchemists. Instead, they were classified as Exalted Worldly Saint Alchemists.
He only had to pay a small fine given his status in comparison to Worldly Saint Alchemists. And this fine was given to the Seven Towers of Heavenly Sages by the Zeniths as an 'apology'. That part was entirely unnecessary. It was a display of contempt and it was almost as if the Zeniths wanted to humiliate them on a galactic scale by telling each of them what they were worth to them in comparison to genuine Heavenly Saint Alchemists. It was disgusting levels of disrespect that Wei Wuyin had to take a moment of solemn silence to feel pity for them.
But this also gave him an incredible opportunity.
If the Utmost Purity Galaxy's Utmost Zenith Towers didn't want them...the Neo-Dawn Empire and its Neo Zenith Tower wasn't so picky!
After sending out the transmissions for his plans in the future and meetings, Wei Wuyin took out the transcendent Edict Potion.
Constructing Void Portals had become effortless for him. With a few steps, he left the Utmost Purity Galaxy.
