Chapter 1911: Chapter 1903: Warring Across The Heavens

Twenty-three days.

The absence of Wei Wuyin began to become known. The Neo-Dawn Alchemic Saint, this newly ascended Heavenly Saint Alchemist, was undergoing secluded consolidation of his skills of alchemy; this was the official announcement issued by the Neo Zenith Tower to dissuade further powerhouses from requesting a meeting.

Despite the announcement of seclusion, Luo Ning and the Neo Zenith Tower were rapidly flourishing beyond the expectations of the existing Zeniths. With a mixture of negotiations, bribery, networking, and public alliance with the Incandescent Star Palace as business partners, testing out Star Discs as a viable means of portable Star Bridge transportation, the eighth Zenith Tower was explosively rising in presence and authority.

The Star Discs released initially were only locally restricted, allowing a Stellar Transit Bridge to form within a range of one billion miles of a Dawn Gate. This Dawn Gate was an antenna that was essential to the activation of Star Discs, and a single one placed within or near the Solar Star of a Starfield was enough for Star Bridge transportation.

Normally, the Star Bridge Array was needed; this allowed the Incandescent Star Palace to establish miniaturized ones across the galaxy that allowed the denizens of the region to arrive, pay the Incandescent Star Palace for usage, and, within a specific timeframe, they could transport anywhere, even beyond the Utmost Purity Galaxy.

Wei Wuyin had used an ancient Star Bridge Array to traverse an unknown distance to arrive at The Battlefield back then in the Grand Cyclic Stellar Region's planet Blueglow located within the Ninestar Starfield. This was their business model. However, the need to be present at a Star Bridge Array, waiting until a sufficient build-up of energy is required for your desired travel, and disallowing the usage of small-time matters limited its relevance.

While Void Gates existed here in the Utmost Purity Galaxy, due to the volatility of transporting Mystic-Rank materials, tools, and objects, or abrupt battles of high level disrupting stable and fixed space, this made it severely limited in usage, and unable to facilitate importing or exporting, forcing Dark Void travel on Void Vessels to remain relevant to this day, including Void Pirates. Stellar Transit Light had none of these issues.

The Star Discs hadn't just upended this disadvantage; they had outright changed the nature of transportation. Not only was it portable and easily carried, unlike a Star Bridge Array, but it could also be used as a means of escape. The only current requisite was a Dawn Gate, the antenna that allowed transport within a specific region.

This was deliberately designed by Wei Wuyin and Palace Lord Incandescent Star, slowly establishing its convenience and qualities to be ingrained within the minds of others, beginning small by allowing starfields to individually grant permission as if they were conducting small-scale testing. And they were. And it was working!

By locally restricting the region, it did little to diminish how impactful the nigh-instantaneous travel across the Dark Void with the utmost safety was to a cultivation society's economic freedom and ability.

It had only been fourteen days since it was introduced into various starfields, yet the number of Void Pirate incidents or abrupt loss of shipments via random Void Creatures or Void Phenomena was almost eradicated within that period. The Star Discs were not only capable of mass production, but any cultivator at the Realm World Phase can use them with ease. Considering they're the only ones that could reliably conduct outer-planetary explorations or trade, this limit of cultivation left no negative effects.

Moreover, the Star Discs of this limited, local variety were extraordinarily cheap. While it was only a one-off, it could be bought with a few high-grade astral stones. A batch of dozens can be obtained with a Mystic-Earth grade stone. This might seem low in price, but just the initial two hundred starfields that were designated as testing grounds had bought over two million Star Discs after the first three days.

That was hundreds of thousands of Mystic-Earth grade stones worth of resources within a few days. Moreover, the Dawn Gate openly absorbed the Solar Essence emanated from the stars, condensing Solar Stones before being periodically extracted by the Incandescent Star Palace. They reasoned that these condensed stones of Solar Essence were required for Star Discs.

Few argued since the Solar Essence acquired was negligible and didn't affect their cultivation or starfield, but the benefits of possessing a Star Disc were instantaneously felt. It was freedom—the freedom of travel, communication, and exchange. While this had always existed, it had never been at this level of convenience.

It was as if a mortal archaic kingdom of swords and stone had gained the ability to fly planes without the existence of missiles or air bombers, and everyone with a little bit of money could afford a seat for their family.

Tourism exploded! And this was just between starfield planets!

The Neo Zenith Tower influenced a variety of starfield-wide competitions for youth and prime experts with rewards, all under the guise of seeking out potential to hire for the Neo Zenith Tower, garnering much attention, and further facilitating the usage and convenience of Star Discs for communication and connection!

"They haven't found him?" Tianshi Ya was dressed in a lightly dressed robe within a spacious, opulent bedroom decorated with all sorts of wondrous treasures. She was exceptionally alluring as she sat at her desk with a mirror, combing her hair with a jade comb.

Suo Haoran was lying on the bed, staring at the gorgeously artistic fresco on his ceiling depicting a young man dragging a star with an unyielding spirit. It was capable of evoking the spirit to never surrender, no matter the difficulty.

Despite Tianshi Ya's lack of cultivation and the need for secrecy, Suo Haoran unhesitatingly demanded that Tianshi Ya be read into the developing situation, and given his fiercely unyielding stance on the matter, they could all only accept it. A man who was unwilling to hide any secrets from his woman was incredibly rare.

"No," Suo Haoran answered. Sovereign Black Widow, Heaven-Saint Thundermaven, Superior Yushi, and Superior Yanzi had formed an unlikely alliance with the Archanids' influence at the helm, despite their former conflict on the topic of Su Yi. Supposedly, two more Superiors might be involved.

"Are they going to try to bait him out more aggressively? Or will they wait?" Tianshi Ya was originally deeply shaken by the revelation of Wei Wuyin's extraordinary qualities that defied understanding. While Su Yi was a demonic genius of combat, Wei Wuyin was potentially an Alchemic Soul Heavenly Saint Alchemist under the age of a hundred.

Of course, when she asked Suo Haoran if that was possible, his response was to shake his head. According to estimation, there was a strong likelihood that the Jiaolong's bloodline was different in regard to openly displayed age, and likely a ballooned lifespan and soulspan on par with the beast, not a human.

To reason it out, Wei Wuyin's hundred years might be a hundred thousand years in reality. After all, the act of concoction was disgustingly difficult and time-consuming, only increasing as rank and grade increased, and considering he had invented several Mystic-Earth and Mystic-World graded products, including several lines of Mortal-Rank products for his lineage, an age of under two hundred was feasibly impossible.

None of them actually believed that he was only a hundred or so years of age. There existed arts and spells or entire cultivation methods that regressed age or halted the expenditure of lifeforce via the usage of an external storage, artificially elongating one's prime state and life.

Just practicing or refining a Heavenly Treasure, Concoction Method, or refining products was time-consuming. It just wasn't possible. That said, the bloodline qualities or abilities of the Jiaolong were too high-level to discern, and even Supreme Seers wouldn't dare delve into it without extensive support from dozens of other Supreme Seers and treasures to secure their lives in the situation of a backlash. ȓΆNó𝖇Ё𝙎

And considering that Wei Wuyin had tried to use the peak-tier, Mystic-World grade Blooming-Spring Blossoming-Fields Paste of the Spring Lineage within the Alchemic Clash, it only verified that his quintessential lifespan was abnormal. This only gave further evidence that Wei Wuyin was much, MUCH older than he showcased. They simply didn't understand the profound logic behind how to calculate his exact age, only seeing it as a hundred to two hundred years.

Moreover, since he invented the Neo-Dawn Vortex-Zone Pellet, this meant he was extremely familiar with the usage of temporally-accelerated zones and likely used them extensively. How could that be possible for a cultivator under two hundred years of age?

If Suo Haoran had to give his best guess, then it was likely a thousand times higher, and while that was still young, only under two hundred thousand years of age, for a potential hybrid or a descendant of the Jiaolong, this was reasonable. Beasts and Star-Devourers often had excessively high lifespans and soulspans far surpassing their strength.

"..." Suo Haoran was unable to answer Tianshi Ya's question.

Tianshi Ya, sensing the uncertainty in the air, said: "His wives are still here, including Manager Luo, his assistant. If they capture one of them, they're bound to draw him out of seclusion." While her words were vicious, the one thing a cultivator didn't want to give an alchemist was time. This was especially so if he somehow gained a sense of a potential looming crisis. They could easily thwart their plans and counterattack.

Suo Haoran didn't have a response, so he remained silent. This wasn't his operation. Whatever subtlety or lack thereof was deployed by Sovereign Black Widow was all on her. It was already lucky enough that the Zeniths hadn't heard of it, likely starting a game of Mystics hinging on his fate.

He could only sigh as he gazed at the beautiful art before him.

"AHHH!!!"

A shriek of death echoed out as a spurt of blood resounded. Wei Wuyin stood above a large soldier, his foot pressed against his crumbled armor, as the physical form of Element in this Heavenly Realm was extracted from his chest with a splash of hot blood.

This soldier was different from others. It was stronger, faster, and smarter. It commanded a legion of thirty-two individuals, on the verge of gaining the recognition of the Commander path, which only required thirty-three soldiers.

This soldier, on the verge of becoming a Commander, had a unique mark. Somewhere, there was a cultivator who had a genuine Edict of a Sage executed on them, and they had just failed to ascend the Commander's Path of the Law of War.

Wei Wuyin had no pity for them, his eyes sweeping over his commanded soldiers that were fighting viciously. They belonged to a single faction: the Siege Faction. The 3,000 Factions weren't just weapons, but the concept of war, including Banner and Siege, which seemed to be paths that those seeking the Commander's Path took, gathering forces.

Outside of the Heavenly Realm, the Intent of Banner was capable of influencing those under your command, allowing more efficient formations and arrays, infusing a portion of your strength into each individual based on your strength. This divided strength was unreasonably magical and profound.

For example, with the lowest Awakened Banner intent, a Commander could infuse upwards of 5% of their complete strength into their soldiers. This might not seem like much, but this was 5% to EACH. While the number that can be bestowed this blessing was limited, that was based on one's Spiritual Strength.

Moreover, the unity of energy flow for the construction of Collaborative Spiritual Spells or Manifestating Arrays was significantly higher.

Meanwhile, Siege Intent was similar to, if not exactly like Awakened Intent of Momentum with small differences. And this difference was the limited application of the Law of Momentum-like powers, only working when conducted as a group rather than an individual, and only against a target. The more individuals you have, the greater the amount of momentum you start with and the faster it ramps up.

This was an excellent Intent for war, despite its limitations!

"SURRENDER!" Wei Wuyin roared with his draconic lungs, causing the entire battlefield to shake except his own soldiers, who used this moment to end their opponents, "OR DIE!"

After those three words echoed out, the soldiers under the Edict of a Sage's soldier realized the situation and Wei Wuyin's imposing might. They began to surrender, dropping their weapons and kneeling in defeat. A stubborn few fought and died to the last.

Wei Wuyin's numbers had risen from the original thirty-three to seven hundred now. This was only a small company of his; the rest were located in his base of operations, establishing logistical networks and banners signifying the conquering of specific regions for his faction.

Among his soldiers, while they all carried the insignia of the saber, some of them had Warhammers, Banners, Arrows, Spears, and more, representing more than fifteen different factions.

On his chestplate were seven heavenly runes, signifying that seven out of the nine paths had recognized his efforts, allowing him to grasp Seeds of Law regarding those concepts of the Heavenly Law of War.

They were: Soldier, Commander, Champion, Tactician, Elite, Slaughter, and Conqueror.

Those heavenly runes shone with great majesty.

The only thing he was left with was Undefeated and Peace-Maker. He had more or less figured out the requirements of these two. Undefeated required him to remain undefeated in a specific number of battles, and this could be via group or personal achievement; it didn't matter, but the greater the number, the stronger the resulting concept. For him, with his Stellar-Paragon Physique and True Void Dragon Bloodline, this was bound to happen in his eyes.

Peace-Maker, however, was by far the hardest to achieve. He had made some assumptions regarding how it works, but after conquering others and forcing those soldiers to become his Soldiers, Elites, Tacticians, Commanders, or Champions, he realized the last thing was the unity of factions.

He needed to not overwrite each of the Factions he conquered as his own, but allow them to join his fold while retaining their original identity. He had to unite several factions as one, establishing never-before-seen peace between identities.

However, just like Undefeated, he also believed the strength of the concept would depend on how many factions he could unite under a single banner.

So he had decided:

HE WOULD UNITE 3,000 FACTIONS UNDER A SINGLE FACTION!

HIS SABER FACTION!

He was ready to wage war across the heavens!!!

Erdiul's Note: Crazy how these sages are so clueless about him, but are still so adamant to test fate. Clues before their eyes, but refusing to accept it because of ego and arrogance. Greed truly knows no bounds.
