1955 Chapter 1947: Second Mystic Level of a True Void Dragon

The walk through the halls back to the Unfettered Dawn was silent as two handsome Empyreans moved shoulder to shoulder, behind them were three women standing with roving spiritual senses. Despite Kang Min-ji's cunning nature, continuing her disguise to this day, she acted the part as a presumed Dao Protector perfectly.

Su Yi's thoughts were fast-paced. He had many things to consider after this meeting. The offer that he was promised, the chance at ascending to the Resonant Soul Realm, was genuine and direct. The fortunes on the Battlefield of War & Order was extraordinary, especially the Galactic Battlefield.

There was a chance to observe the Obelisk of War within the Nexus Battlefield on the galactic stage, which was a wondrously unrivaled item that any-no, EVERY Microheaven Envoy would kill for.

Long ago, Wei Wuyin had earned the right to 'observe' the Obelisk of War. For typical cultivators at the peak of the Demi- Mortal Lord Phase, the third stage of the Mystic Ascendant Realm, these were all legendary feats of grand accomplishment, and they would allow the establishment of a perfect foundation and ease of future ascensions. Wei Wuyin had comprehended or achieved these things as a Mortal!

The Origin of All Light was Primary Soul Light originating from the Soul; the Heart of the World was relating to Intent, and he had developed two-Saber Heart Intent & Elemental Origin Heart Intent; the Soul Light infusion was done by King, transforming them Mark of War into the Mark of Annihilation.

Clearly, the Mark of War was a proxy treasure to unleash a genuine Edict of a Sage after thorough refinement. These were heaven-shaking opportunities that would set forth a solid path forward, especially regarding comprehension of Laws. That said, his Ascendants enjoyed these benefits after he brought back a single Stellar-tier Obelisk of War, allowing his Prime Ascendants, Valkyrie, and worthy Ascendants to experience great opportunities that other galaxy cultivators would die and have killed for.

Cao Cuifen, for example, had relied on this to comprehend her World Heart Intent, genuinely shoring up her weak foundation beyond what only foundation-cultivation products could perform. In the Neo-Dawn Empire, the Obelisk of War was a holy artifact, and it only had eighty-one opportunities, and over a quarter of those was used solely on Wei Wuyin's Prime Ascendants, Alchemic Knights, Valkyrie, and women.

Su Yi was aware that observing the Obelisk of War on the galactic-tier would grant one an incomparably peerless opportunity to ascend into the Resonant Soul Realm. However, the opportunity was far too difficult to grasp, and it was reached out by far too many supreme elites, all seeking to obtain it.

Despite having ascended to the Resonant Soul Realm before, his rebirth was not without its difficulties, and his various tribulations to ascend were amplified by several levels in terms of difficulty. If he wanted to ascend further, he had to handle far greater trials and difficulties than his past self. Fortunately, he had established an unrivaled foundation far exceeding his past self, obtaining Supreme Sage-level strength as a True Sage.

This was defiant to an extreme. At this thought, he glanced at the calm-faced Wei Wuyin beside him. According to the previous chaos, this daring emperor and Heavenly Saint Alchemist were two souls of fantastic talent, one possessing the other's original body, but after he returned, that was clearly resolved while he was being chased across the stars.

From what he could gather from various reports from various Intel organizations, the dispute was resolved after the Dawning Day of Supreme Death, with some wild speculation on the matter. Most prominently of which was the possibility of two souls merging as one, and Wei Wuyin was both the Emperor of the Neo-Dawn Empire and godly Alchemic Talent, and thus caused the Zeniths to retreat from their position after realizing the situation.

The other was that Wei Wuyin was a genuine young emperor of only two hundred years in age, a Heavenly Saint Alchemist, and only at the Soul of Mysticism Phase with a great dao recognition as a candidate of virtue, and that there was no possession to speak of, only a genuinely heaven-defying existence. No, heaven-defying wouldn't do him justice in the slightest.

Su Yi thought himself heaven-defying, but that was reality-reshaping! It would overturn every conceived idea of limits and understanding of talent beyond a shadow of any doubt!!

Wei Wuyin cared little for Su Yi's thoughts, focusing inward. After his ascension into the Soul of Mysticism, achieving complete Mystic Runes without Awakened Mystic Intent, his Mark of Mystic Myth that served as Kratos' Mystic Form had advanced by a single level, from the First Level to the Second Level.

While this might not seem like much, it was easy to forget that the Mark of Myths, all three ranks only had seven levels each. When Wei Wuyin had attained the Mark of Mortal Myth's Seventh Level, he already had the bloodline cultivation equivalent of a Star Core Phase cultivator, the peak Astral Core Realm!

The only thing he lacked was refined bloodline energy in strength and intrinsic qualities that matched, reflected by his Mortal Dao cultivation base, which had to be nourished and cultivated separately, but purity and foundation-wise, he was a peak Mortal-Rank True Void Dragon hybrid.

When he ascended to the Mark of Mystic Myth, he had acquired his second transformation-Draconic Ascension, and unlocked a few bloodline abilities such as the innate ability to resist Laws. However, the peak of the first level of Mystic Myth was typically the equivalent of a Demi-Mortal Lord in terms of purity and foundation. The second level was equivalent to an Earthly Saint to an Ascended Saint, and the third level was likely the True Sage Phase to the Microheaven Phase.

This was his conclusion.

However, these were only regarding the purity of his bloodline, and his cultivation base, specifically the Draconic Void Mystic Soul and Draconic Void Mystic Core had long since allowed him to exert power beyond a True Void Dragon on the second level, easily reaching the third.

Sensing these changes, Kratos was constantly roaring with excitement about a new ability: "Infinite Void Scales." It was an innate defensive bloodline ability, akin to the Infinite Void Wings. While Kratos' explanation was trash and nonsensically epic, as usual, Magus was capable of translating!

This was the first time that Wei Wuyin didn't have to swim on murky waters without a guide when it came to Kratos' abilities. After becoming the fifth Spirit of Cultivation, Magus' Everlasting Enlightened Spirit Foundation allowed him to peer into secrets and mysteries, deciphering them regarding the others.

If Magus was this uniquely connected before, he would have discovered Eden's Akashic origins far sooner or...the fact that the manifestation of the Saber Law Authority that existed within him was extraordinarily abnormal, far unlike the other six Laws within him. The strangest thing was how it seemed to serve as the de facto leader of Imperial and Annihilation.

Additionally, the faint Law of War aura that swirled about within him was acting very similarly to those two.

Magus set that aside for further investigation, but the Infinite Void Scale was an armor ability that transformed space, time, astrological forces, and the Void itself into a condensed armor, defending him from all sorts of dangers, especially things that he needed to rely on his Laws to overcome, such as temporal stasis, the vicious torrents of Chaotic Space, and accumulation of paradoxical energies.

It was remarkable, yet had come quite late. For a typical hybrid, this ability, at that level

of activity, would be absolutely heaven-sent, providing the True Void Dragon to traverse the world with far greater freedom than before.

However, Wei Wuyin wanted to test something out!

The idea was brazen. Utterly batshit insane, but after all his experiences, he wanted to test the viability of this heaven-defying act! A normal Infinite Void Scales might not be able to do so, but his cultivation was anything but normal.

Su Yi's eyes flickered. He could sense the change in Wei Wuyin's mood. When they arrived at the anchorage, Wei Wuyin's steps halted. Su Yi's heart admired the beauty of Unfettered Dawn. Only now in close proximity was he aware of how extraordinary this vessel was. There was no disharmony in its formations or arrays, and the materials had a seamless unity without any flaws in its archaic shape.

"Lady Hong and Protector Kang," Wei Wuyin called out, "take Su Yi out to gather his allies. Also, keep thirty-three spots open."

"Hm?" Su Yi was taken aback.

Wei Wuyin explained, "I'll be sending a few to follow you in battle as soldiers. Since I'll be taking an Alchemist Unit spot, I'll need you to act as my Commander. Any objections?"

Su Yi wasn't slow on the uptake, realizing that Wei Wuyin intended to use him as a proxy commander to watch over his subordinates. He didn't mind, especially since this meant he would be receiving alchemical support from Wei Wuyin's Alchemist Unit directly. This was what he had already expected. However, there was a critical problem with the Galactic Battlefield.

"I'll give you the War Souls necessary to immediately become a Commander," Wei Wuyin explained. During the discussion, he learned that Stellar-grade War Souls could be exchanged for Ascendant-grade War Souls and then Galactic-grade War Souls.

Despite using them to cultivate his Ascendants and Nexus War Flag, he still had more than a million left of the two million he had returned with. War Souls were very difficult to exhaust, mostly because he had a gargantuan amount, and even in the Neo-Dawn Empire, these War Souls were rewards fiercely fought for and competed for by Ascendants and external members.

With a million at the stellar-grade, he wouldn't be able to buy much in the Galactic Battlefield, but promoting Su Yi to a commander, so that his Prime Ascendants, Valkyrie, and wives could leech off his excessive Karmic Sky fortune and protection was the best scenario and easily achieved. This was what he expected the mysterious woman to do.

Su Yi was only briefly surprised when he was told that he would be promoted directly to a Commander. He always intended to do so, so this was expediting his goals. As for how Wei Wuyin could do so, he didn't doubt that both Ancient Zenith and Wei Wuyin had ample experience with the Battlefield of War & Order. They were likely both seeking Concoction Methods, Alchemical Tools, and chances to advance in their cultivation from

it.

"You can take Unfettered Dawn with you," Wei Wuyin gestured for Su Yi to go, leaving the ship in the hands of Su Mei to pilot. As for him and Pakhet, he was going to do something that could be regarded as dangerous to the utmost, so they were going to take a separate path!

Su Mei was on the edge of the ship, and their gazes met. She caught a glimpse of his intention, almost as if it was buried deep within his heart. She silently supported him.

Su Yi wanted to say more, but Wei Wuyin and Pakhet left through a Star Disc. They became a ray of Stellar Transit Light, blazing across the Dark Void.

Su Yi sighed in his heart. This upcoming challenge was bound to be the greatest of his life. He was only slightly relieved that Wei Wuyin was actively on his side in this. However, he couldn't rely too heavily on him. He would forge his own unprecedented path, exceeding his former self again and again.

While in transit, Wei Wuyin grabbed Pakhet and entered a Void Portal, allowing the Transit Stellar Light to fly without any occupants.

In the Dark Void, far from any galaxy, away from any signs of life.

A Void Portal was conjured into existence, connecting two regions of space and time an incomparably far distance apart.

Two figures walked out onto a floating debris of earth.

Pakhet was a little dizzy despite her True Soul Phase cultivation base, feeling the urge to vomit. She adjusted herself, circulating her Mystic Power in an attempt to dissipate the spatial dissonance and temporal dissonance that had struck her. It didn't work.

Wait.

Why was she feeling these things? As someone who took Void Portals frequently, this was a first for her!

"Use your Major Metal Law as an anchor of your existence here," Wei Wuyin solemnly instructed. Given the gravity in his tone, she hurriedly did just that. Her body became a heavenly gold version of itself, remarkably beautiful yet shockingly primal. After her fight with Wei Wuyin, her physique's affinity for metal was unrivaled, especially after she had become the physical embodiment of the Law of Metal on a Major Authority level. When she finished doing so, her spatial and temporal dissonance was immediately gone as if cured by the heavens.

She couldn't help but ask, "Where are we?"

Wei Wuyin's head inclined upwards, and as he did, Pakhet followed suit, her pupils instantly shrank!

"The past," Wei Wuyin's entire body transformed, entering the state of Draconic Ascension!!!
